One of my FAVORITE grocery stores. I hate its closing. I would literally drive 30 minutes here to come. I love their ice cream. The store is always so clean and the people are nice too.

Bi-Lo has the best produce department Ive ever encountered. The store is always so neat and clean, with premium products you will only find there. Best grocery store ever!!!

My experience was ok. Really not what I expected. It was a going out of business sale I thought the prices would have been much lower. But variety was good. Service was good.

Unfortunately, this BI-LO is the only competent Western Union in Sumter, SC. Unfortunately again, they rarely provide services as a Western Union vendor - and should have their vendor status revoked.I have come to the service desk at BI-LO multiple times either because they do not have enough money, dont have the time to send transactions, or are just plain busy.Alas, if the cashiers arent looking at the cellphones all the time, you might get lucky.

Some of the freshest food in town. You can also find healthier food here if youre trying to do keto or paleo. The selection is hard to beat in Sumter. Place is clean and the staff is friendly. Only downside is its one of the more expensive grocery stores in town.

Went there last night to go shopping. The crew they had there was great, the guy that was the bagger was friendly and made us feel welcomed. The cashier also had great customer service. Only thing is that I was told that they are turning into a food lion in a few months and so Im concerned if they will keep their jobs or not. The enployees dont even know and this concerns me because Food lion would be idiots not to keep the workers they have there now!

Can definitely tell why theyre going out of business. Just hope the Super food lion that bought it has better customer service.

My go to grocery store. Will miss Bi-Lo as it changes to Food Lion. Always clean and friendly.

Bi-Los is so good store to shop at that the only stores with the ATM machines where if you take out money and you dont have an account with them they dont take out any fees and thats why I like about by Lowes every once in awhile they have a good sale going on and its clean and well-maintained for a supermarket I give it 4 stars

Very nice store. Very clean. Vegetables looked fresh. Nice variety of meat. But BiLo is hit and miss on prices. Prices are a bit higher on many things and their sale prices are average. When they do have meat on sale it only brings it back to regular prices. Very nice store though.

BI- LO IS A CLEAN WELL STOCKED GROCERY STORE. BUT,THE PRICES ARE NOT LO. MILK ONIONS AND MEATS ARE VERY OVERPRICED. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND GO THE HALF A MILE TO WALMARTS MARKETPLACE.

Most expensive grocery store in town - sales are ok, but sometimes other places are still cheaper. I mostly shop here because of its close proximity to my house is convenient for when I just need a couple items.

I just learned that they are closing the pharmacy as of June 24th. I am so sadden by this news. I absolutely love the pharmacy employees. They are professional and caring. Im going to miss them and the great service we received at bi lo pharmacy on wedgewood. God bless all of you .

I couldnt return my babys milk that was purchased. My friend got the wrong one. Now Im stuck with formula I cant use and wasted money.

If I could rate BiLo lower I would but one star is the lowest rating! My family have shopped at BiLo as our primary grocery store since we arrived in town 17 years ago! Today was my LAST visit to a BiLo store! Short answer, is there is no longer customer service during COVID-19 at BiLo. News Flash BiLo...COVID-19 will never be eradicated, it’s not an animal that will go extinct. It is a virus. It will morph, adapt, mutate along with one million viruses that infect vertebrates. I made a purchase. One item was milk jug damaged (small pin hole that caused a slow leak-giant mess) and the other was a food item that was criminally out of date (more than 2 years). Unfortunately when I went to return the item I was told that corporate advised there are no longer returns once you leave the store! No remediation or recourse. Everything purchased now is AS IS. Fortunately, your competition and now my store of choice does not share your same short sighted policies! So goodbye and good riddance BiLo! I will miss the gentleman in produce and the workers in the meat department. I will NOT miss your pricing scheme nor your inane corporate policies that prevent returning damaged and out of date food items just to name two! I should have been given my money back and you should have thrown the junk I returned in the trash.

Biko has been my grocery store of choice since they opened in Sumter on Broad St. However, management at the store the last year has been less than optimal especially in the self checkout . If you’re in a rush don’t think you can get through faster going that route . No one mans it anymore it seems and there’s always a problem with the machines. Almost every time through I have to leave my groceries and all but beg someone to come help reset the machines. Why have self checkout at all with no management willing to man them . So frustrating

Everyone at the pharmacy is friendly and very helpful. It feels like a down home pharmacy. And they have the best prices in Sumter. I definitely recommend going here over the big brand pharmacies in town.

Great sale this week on for $5.99 per pound on ribeyes with your Bi-Lo card.. i stocked up got them vacuum sealed and in my deep freezer.

Nice grocery store. I went to pick up some money and I was very pleased with the customer service. They were also fast. I wasnt stuck in a long line or left waiting. All in all I would say it was good.

The store is typically very clean with a decent selection. I would prefer that they offer some more health/organic/different foods but overall a nice place. It can be difficult to find an employee to ask where items are located but they are very helpful and knowledgeable when you do. The butcher is also happy to help make a recommendation or even make a custom cut for you if you ask.

They definitely need to upgrade their electric carts and charging stations. One left me stranded and the other was a shock hazard. The store itself I love.

I have shopped here for past 10 yrs or more, and today was the worst. My husband came into the store this morn around 9:30 to buy lottery tickets sign up closed, a lady walked by and he asked what time do they open and she wouldn’t answer him, I went in around 10:00-10:30 and asked the girl what time do they open and she said 9, I said my husband was here around 9:30 and she said I know! Wouldn’t explain why he wasn’t waited on, she was very rude. The cashier I had checking me out was also not people oriented that’s for sure she handed me my receipt and said here you go! Really! Her name was Caitlin. Learn people skills! Very disappointed! I went to Food Lion after that, very friendly staff, take a lesson Bi Lo!

The store is clean and laid out nicely. Produce section looks good and items are fresh. I was able to quickly locate the items on my shopping list. Checkouts did not have customers waiting.

The lady at the florist shop was very helpful and patience. I didnt get her name but it was Friday afternoon. I will definitely go back and their flower arrangements are very reasonably priced. I suggest giving them a try before going to a florist shop and you will be pleasantly surprised

Love the grocery part of the store, but as far as the pharmacy part, there extremely rude and never have the orders ever filled. Can literally take them up to 6 hrs just to fill a couple of things. Would not recommend using the pharmacy

The place is a great place to buy groceries especially the meat department very friendly staff never had anything out of date everything is always fresh and delicious and I should know I weigh almost 300 pounds

Pretty much enjoy shopping at Bi Lo as I buy all my Birthday cakes from here, everyone is friendly but, getting your cake written on is a challenge for most of the ones I have doing this task, they are super friendly and always helpful and the cakes always taste good. Never met anyone there that did not seem to enjoy their work, they all seem to put a lot of effort into everything they do! Meats are to high unless you run up on a sale.****Be sure and look at anything they have marked down when using your card because most of the time it rings up at the regular price???

Shop here if you want to spend more. The specials are usually involving buy one get ones which only bring the price of the two items slightly below average prices elsewhere. I only shop here for late night, last minute needs. They still use the forget your loyalty card and well sacrifice your wallet tactic for increasing sales. I try to avoid stores who punish people for simply not lugging their card around with them.

Staple grocery store. Great selection of produce. Produce manager is very knowledgable. Meat is good quality. Bakery is friendly. Deli leaves A LOT to be desired. Staff is inattentive and rude. Talks more than works. Cashiers are young but try.

Clean. Great selection from the Deli and Bakery.. Through produce. Live lobster.... Let them go free! Great wine selection too. Give Bi-LO IN Sumter a try. You wont be disappointed.

I enjoy grocery shopping at Bi-Lo and using the pharmacy inside. They have good prices and alot of BOGO deals. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing I do not like to purchase from Bi-Lo is meat because their prices are much higher then other grocery stores in town and they do not have much of a selection. Other than shopping for meats, I enjoy shopping for all of my groceries here and using the pharmacy inside.

Great food and a very friendly atmosphere. I love their classic burger meal and the wife loves their brewski steak meal . + They have a bar and all the free peanuts you can eat.

Bi-Lo is one of the few places in Sumter to get organic vegetables and foods. I have been pleased to see them start to have more organic veggies. It varies from week to week what they will have. A short list of organics: apples, carrots, lettuce, bananas (sometimes), tomatoes (most of the time), celery, and a few others that are seasonal. I certainly would like to see more of a selection. I encourage others to request to the store manager for MORE ORGANICS! Overall, it is my favorite grocer in Sumter.

Staff was friendly and when we ask the meat butcher an item missing in the counter he got some without a problem. I felt the store was a bit dim lit.

Ive always liked this store. Its got a very good selection. Ive been a loyal customer even though a new Walmart opened up down the street but... today, three young employees are hanging around talking with each other while the customers bag their own groceries. Customer service is going down hill. Their self checkout machines are lousy, you have to wait for ever for service if something happens to these machines now I gotta bag my own groceries. Walmart starting to look better and better

Typical grocery store. Prices are competitive with everything else in the area. The deli counter has decent meals but, if you go later in the day, they can be a little stale from sitting.
