The IGA where Im from in Virginia is terrible, so I am inclined to avoid this place. On the occasion Ive visited though its usually surprised me. I didnt enjoy the ready to eat meal I got from the deli once (tasted like bad hospital food) but the grocery selection and pricing is pretty good. The sauce selection for example seemed pretty well curated with options Ill likely return to try out.

I shop here sometimes because I can find what Im looking for. The staff is upbeat and helpful. The story itself is inviting. Its bright and welcoming. I enjoy shopping at IGA. I will continue to shop here.

If walmart doesnt have, hit the block! IGA does! And man you can get a MEAN hot plate or steamed seafood(crab legs/shrimp) in the back.

Love the variety of items but Im starting to notice the store does not look its best its kind of raggedy I noticed all the igas have that same yucky look like its old and they dont care to update anything

While every single customer and cashiers were wearing a mask, a worker handling produce and restocking aisles has no mask, no shield and is coghing and touching her face and hair as she works. The manager doesnt seem to be aware thats the one practice that contaminates products and this puts customers at risk.what a great way to protect people...

I went to IGA today for some items, weve been instructed by the CDC to wear mask to protect others. I try to do my part, but it doesnt mean a thing if no one else does there part. There wasnt an employee working in the store that had on a mask. I will not be doing business with them anymore.

The only place I could find ripe bananas.

Admittedly I am not a fan of the IGA chain from past experiences with them but this store has made me reconsider. While the exterior is rather worn the interior was clean, well lit, very carefully organized, and had an exceptionally cheerful and helpful staff. Highly recommend if you are looking to buy fresh and locally sourced food.

Clean & organized. Was able to get everything I went for. Decent prices on some stuff. Like all other stores, you have to know what is a good price & what is too high. Wish they still cubed & cut meat in the meat department tho. I love to get a pork loin cubed there but they say they dont do that any more.

Went in on Christmas eve around noon ... place was busy but not as busy as expected. Found everything I was looking for and then some. Employees were friendly and place was clean!

I cant believe this place exists with the lack of service provided. I was checking out and young lady did not acknowledge me once. She simply ate a pint of ice cream, taking bites between scanning items. Ive never seen anything like this in my life and it is a direct reflection of the very poor management at this store. Yall need to get your act together and learn how to run a business!

Everytime I come visit my friend here in Sumter I always look forward coming to IGA! I love this entire store friendly workers, neatness & the deli is amazing! I love the cooked sea food! Those shrimps are to die for! My Iga in Ga does not compare to this one! This is the best IGA EVER!

This store is poorly stocked and high priced. They are apparently requiring their employees to wear masks, but not actually covering their nose and mouth. I saw a few employees, including the cashier, wearing their masks on their chins.

They have pretty good sale prices on porter houses t-bones & ribeye. The staff is always friendly and eager to assist you.

I have have a great shopping experience here. And the manager is so helpful and friendly.

Its an okay grocery store to go to but most items are way way overpriced and produce is normally never fresh. I recomend going to foodlion or piggly wiggly instead. We only go there if we want a bag of chips or need some milk.

Called and asked if 10 pound boxes of chicken were cut, was told YES. Drove 20 minutes to get chicken, got to the register, asked again, Are the Leg Quarters cut? Was told Yes. Get home... NOT CUT. Called back and was told, Bring them back up and we will cut them for you. Sorry for the inconvenience! Drove back 20 minutes and was told, we charge $5 to cut (was not told this when instructed to come get them cut). Overall a good experience but was not compensated for being given false information that cause me a lot of unnecessary back and forth driving. They did not care simply because, loosing 1 customer means nothing to them.
