They’ve moved to an automated ordering system inside the cafe which is quite cumbersome to use and takes more time. Drinks are good but expensive. Have tried the boba teas and vietnamese coffee both are great but wish the quantity of toppings were more for that price.

It was my first time trying this place. The drink was really good, I like to try other drinks. They have many different selections...the only thing thats not good is the parking in the back because it gets crowded.

Not to be dramatic but I would go here literally every day if I loved near it. Theres so many adorable and delicious little macaroons, I felt bad eating something so cutely made. The mango smoothie is good and this is the first place Ive ever had chè! I think I was eating it wrong but its the only time Ive ever enjoyed eating (drinking?) jello in a dessert before so 🤷 try it!

We visited this place after we had ramen at Ramen Seas. Our kids enjoyed boba tea and other sweet stuff here. Everything looks very cool and delicious as well. We’ll come back again!

#1 Bambu Special is a Vietnamese dessert drink mixing coconut water with chunky coconut, whole Logan, pandan jelly and lots of basil seed. Good place to hang out at this clean, bright dessert place with excellent free WiFi.

Interesting little place I stopped in after reading the sign that said avocado Vietnamese iced coffee. Sounded to weird to pass up. It was delicious the first few sips were interesting then it became addictive. Cant wait to go back and try some of their other interesting drinks!!

The smoothie and drink options are highly customizable with tons of flavor options. Prices are around $6-8 for dessert drinks and macaroons range from $2-4.Four stars because I’ve had better in the Bay Area but solid stop in Sunnyvale.

My first impression was relatively poor. When you enter the store, the main supported way to order is through the kiosk. There was nobody in front to greet us. And so I trudge through the complicated kiosk to make my order. And we all know how difficult it is to order just the right tea drink, getting the level of ice right along with a level of sugar, etc. Except some of the questions on the kiosk were contradictory. For example, if I read it correctly There were two ways to say no ice or two ways to say no sugar. Why make it so complicated?We had one other question about our order and so we push some button to ask for help. But after several minutes nobody came out. Instead of waiting for the kiosk to timeout, we just completed the order and allow come what may.Its a complicated ordering process added to the poor experience. And when the drinks arrived, of course the order was incorrect. Even though we explicitly ask for no sugar, the drinks were super sweet and laced with sugar.Perhaps if we ordered a standard drink and expected it to be very sweet, then it would not have been an issue. But the drink was not too our expectation and there was so much distance between us and the stressed out workers who hardly paid us any attention that it was an overall negative experience.

Not a bad option for some bubbles!Came here on a weekday. It was a hot afternoon and bubble tea seemed liked the perfect option to cool us down.We had parked our car a few blocks away and took the walk into downtown. The access is pretty easy and theres plenty of other shops and eateries around if youre looking to stay a while and explore.Inside its pretty open, the counter to order meets you when you walk in, and then theres a decent amount of seating for those that wish to enjoy their drink inside.The menu is pretty solid. Lots of options and combinations to choose from. We chose to go with their avocado smoothie, unsweetened, and added the tapioca.It was something different for sure. The tapioca added the perfect amount of sweetness to the unsweetened avocado without causing a sugar high.The workers were friendly and let us take our time going through the menu and answering questions on ingredients and the options we had for drinks.Would stop by again and try another flavor if Im back down this way!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with my friend and got a strawberry banana smoothie. The drink came out quite quickly and there wasn’t much of a line and I could customize the sugar level which was really nice. The drink was refreshing though it was pretty cold when I was drinking it, and the prices were a bit on the higher end like Jamba Juice. Quite a casual ambiance inside though!

I usually order the same thing from Bambu but this location really disappointed me. I ordered number 1 Bambu special and the taste was so bland and different from what I had. They didnt use any coconut water, it was just water. What a scam do not go to this location!

Love Bambú and their drinks and treats but at least on this visit, it was insanely slow. Be ready to wait literally 35 minutes for your drink. Yikes. Can’t do that again. Also no one to ask about it.

I told the workers in Bambu that I was allergic to artificial flavor and specifically double checked that their fresh fruit smoothie had no artificial flavor before ordering. They said there absolutely nothing artificial and that it was made of fresh fruit.The smoothie that they gave me was clearly artificial. How did I know? Other than the obvious artificial flavor, my tongue started tingling, swelled and went numb. Thanks so much for taking allergies seriously. Oh, and lying to my face.

I really want to like this place but I’m sorry, it’s a “No”. We ordered 3 items: Chè special, another coconut based Chè and penny worth juice and coconut water. They were tasteless and worth a penny! This location has zero quality. We didn’t taste coconut or the sweetness of Che that I’m used too. I think they forgot to put in the flavor. It’s watery and bland. I was disappointed because I was excited about trying bambu at this location. It’s newer and I had hope. I do hope that they tajdd we this feedback to improve the quality of their products.

Its my 2nd time here and I enjoy their drinks. This time I tried their smoothies and that came out delicious!

Yet another good place to grab a quick healthy/unhealthy bite. Their collections of authentic coffees turns me up. They have a good collection of desserts too. The best part of this place is that it is conveniently located in the downtown, easy to reach. If you dont want to go further into different parts of city, go to this place.

Drinks are good. They also have options for Che, which is cool to finally see spread a bit. I also really like that they have a room in the back you can just go in to work or meet others in private. Pro-tip: If youre gonna have a meeting there, call them up and book the room in advance.

Unfortunately this was the worst boba/milk tea Ive ever had. I ordered the black tea sea salt; it completely lacked flavor and just tasted like water.

Chè is good. Service is AWFUL. Was before COVID, still is. Managment, please please fix this. Start with getting rid of the curtain that hides the sight of frustrated customers from the awareness of your rude staff. Every time I go, there are unhappy customers trying to get an employee to come out to help. The bell for service is often ignored. Please hire/train for friendly, efficient customer service.

Used to come to this place a lot but not recently. They have decided to add sugar to their Che and that’s not a good idea. Che is so sweet now and I have to remember to remind them to add no sugar. Haven’t tried their milk tea but I hope it’s real tea and no syrup.

Oolong milk tea was the worst Ive had. Maybe their smoothies are better, but not good for straight milk tea.

I love the options here! Atmosphere is very welcoming and eclectic. All kinds of fruit teas and dessert drinks. Coffee drinks are great too!

Delicious drinks for every craving and palate. I love that the milk teas arent overly sweet, and if you want something to eat theres waffles, macarons, and ice cream to choose from as well. Even when busy service is quick and you can count on great quality every visit.

Wow the passion tea and mango passion tea was so delicious and sweet! Probably the best yet! My husband and are obsessed with boba teas too. This place is very special too because they have boba and little fruit inside that makes it even more delicious! A must try!!!

The best mint teat I ever tried! I ordered hot mint tea without sugar (which is exactly what I wanted), and it tasted amazing: so many subtle tastes and after-tastes that I regretted I only ordered one BIG cup of it. Will definitely come back again :-)

Ive been here a few times, typically just for tea. Its a cute spot with good lighting. However as many other reviewers have mentioned service from the younger staff is terrible 2/5. The tea is ok. I prefer tea that is made to order, rather than pitchers of tea that are made early and sit around all day.

This place is good for smoothies and shakes. Personal best pick is Papaya Smoothie. They make it customize as I prefer less ice and no sugar. Here they serve ice creams as well. Huge range for making choice in smoothie, shakes and hot drinks include tea- Numi & coffee.

Interesting take on the traditional shaved ice dessert. Essentially, its shaved ice in a cup, consumed through a straw. There are many unique toppings to choose from, and they are willing to sample toppings you may not be familiar with. The service is very fast. They do not have a loyalty program. Its a nice change from just bubble tea.

It was ok. The coconut drinks are good. The pandan waffle is very green and doesnt taste like pandan waffles Ive has before. Maybe reducing the colours would be good for it

I like their Mochi selection and fresh juices. Highly recommend the raspberry juice.And never ever take grass jellies in your tea.

I really like this place! The location is good, since it’s right near Murphy Ave in Sunnyvale. The staff is always kind, and the place is kept pretty clean. It’s rarely super busy, which is another plus for me. The macarons are cute, and their drinks are good! I like that the drinks come with two toppings included; usually you have to pay extra for boba, jelly, etc. Their fruit teas have real fruit pieces in them, making them really yummy and fun to eat!

This location is more expensive then other locations in the franchise. They workers were polite, fast, and the drinks were tasty. They never asked if I wanted to upgrade my drink to a large size when I was there. Would definitely go back if Im in Downtown Sunnyvale.

Its a mixed experience. Generally the drinks are pretty good, but the staff is young. Ive had about half my orders screwed up in one way or another. Again not a huge deal, but super annoying. The other Bambu places are much better.

It was my first time in Bambu and I needed help figuring what I wanted to order, and I was helped by Noor, who took time to explain the menu and favorites. He was so polite and kind! He deserves a raise!

I got their Taro Milk Tea, which they say is made of real taro! I was busy talking so I didnt pay much attention to see if it really taste like real taro. It didnt taste as good as Taro Milk Tea from Fantasia or Sharetea, but its pretty hard to find places that make their Taro Milk Tea out of real taro instead of powder so Im not gonna complain.Whats really cool is they have a conference room in the back if you want to have a private conversation! I never knew about it.I went on a Saturday afternoon on a long weekend, and it was pretty empty. So there was no wait. The server even delivered my tea to the conference room where I was sitting!

We randomly stopped in for a quick treat with our children and friends on a sunny spring day and were pleasantly surprised to be overwhelmed with many healthy snack options!I highly recommend the pandan waffles as well as some of the drinks that have pandan in them as well. We had a few of the macaroons and my young daughter was especially pleased with their design. Overall, a great place to stop in for a quick snack!

Always come here after lunch in the area. Its usually quiet in terms of a crowd so its not always that busy. Drinks are always great, though so dont let the emptiness fool you.

This is a terrible smoothie place, the drinks are not genuine and are full of artificial flavors. They add sugar to the drinks and are unhealthy. Take a look at the pic where theres just water from ice at the bottom and the artificial stuff at the top.

Tasty drinks. My favorite is #10 Bambu Favorite. They sell Che (coconut drinks), they have another menu for teas, macaroons, and ice cream macaroons.

Love the chè (try the Fruit Addict), good selection of milk and other teas and you get 2 add-ins included in the price which makes it a great value. Im not convinced the real fruit smoothies actually have much real fruit, but they are still tasty.

The best Vietnamese che you can find in and around South Bay love it and the Bean trio and fruits special are very good and are worth trying out 👌🏼

I went there to get boba, ended up taking ché drinks. Have to say, I wasnt a fan of those flavors and textures. Drinks looked photogenic though.

The macarons here are adorable and are so good! but the boba is kinda weird and it’s meh, not real tea for fruity stuff, all artificial.

I like their juice a lot. But some staffs are not friendly and sometimes I feel they are rude. I went there this morning and the young white lady in the front counter was not very nice. +she’s always like that actually. She was not nice even last time. I usually feel bad when she’s there. I am not going there again as long as she works there.I am not saying all their staffs are bad. Just some of them are bad. I’ve seen a chinese lady and an indian lady. Both of them were nice.

Something happened within the past 2 months. I used to always go to this place for bubble tea and mochi ice cream. But now their bobas are smooshy, wait is 20+min, and the tea taste is bad.

Good boba and they also sell mochi. I first got taro tea and it had a powdery texture which I didnt like, but they were very nice about exchanging it for me. The black tea with pearls was really good. I didnt notice any options for sweetness level, but you might want to ask as the tea was pretty sweet.

Tried one of their mochi ice-cream round desserts and got very disappointed. They advise to wait for 3 minutes before eating it but waiting didnt make a difference. The mochi was never soft and powdery like it should be. Customer service was good and friendly.
