I bought 2 Trek Bikes here. The initial customer service is great when purchasing. But do not leave your bikes here for maintenance. We dropped them off for a tune up. It took over 2 weeks to get them back. When we went to pick them up, they were damaged. My husbands bike had a deep gash all the way to the metal, and mine had surface scratches and paint rubbed off where the wires cross. When they were dropped off, they were in perfect condition. We only used them 6 times, at most, and they are stored in our house, where no one can touch them. We brought them in because my front tire was making an odd rubbing sound and it was coming up for the last free check up on them. As soon as I saw the scratches I brought it up to the manager on duty and I was told, that there is no proof they did it. He said I should have taken a picture before I dropped them off. hmmmmm I believe it is their responsibility to over look the bike when they are brought in, and to note any blemishes, like when you leave your car at a shop or rent one. Odd thing is, I had a gut feeling when I dropped off my bikes, that I should take a picture but I thought, this is Trek, they should know how to take care of a bike. Trek bikes are not $125 as we all know! To damage 2 bikes is not acceptable. To then have that attitude is not acceptable either. Long story short, I got a refund because they knew I was right. I would never buy here or refer a friend.

Have a 3 speed Trek with a blown tire on the rear axle. They were able to change it out and get it done within 15 minutes. Highly recommended.

We were very excited to find the exact two Townies we wanted online in-stock at your store. We had not found the Townie 7D EQ locally to even test-ride. I called and spoke to Patrick. I am impressed by the generosity at this Trek store location. I was riding at Markham park, got a flat. Unfortunately I had left my wallet at the office and had no payment method. I do not use Apple Pay yet but I asked if I can zelle them for payment. Jose took care of me, class act dude.. this dude said no worries tube on us this time.. WHAT!! That made my day. Trek bikes are really good and price competitive. The staff at the store is very knowledgeable, they were able to set me up with a new bicycle and answer all my questions.My only suggestion is that Trek (Headquarters) should provide the store with incentives for customers that have been patiently waiting 4 to 5 months for their bikes (after paying a deposit). It would have been nice to get a helmet, a set of lights, or any other “gift” to compensate for the long wait!

I went to the Trek Bicycle Store of Sunrise today. I was in the process of moving out of town and wanted to get my bike checked before I left. I was under the assumption that it would take a few days but to my surprise I met with Jeremy and Jimbo and they got me in and out in less then 30 mins! Great customer service. Love this bike shop, highly recommend. The service I received was quick; My problem was I didnt know how to fill the particular air valve on my hybrid bikes back tire. The gentleman who helped me charged me nothing, pumped my tire, and taught me how to do it. I was happy to buy the air pump he used; I felt it was the least I can do. The repair department is wonderful to deal with. Everyone is SO friendly, helpful, and really knows their stuff. And unlike some independent shops near me, they seem EAGER to help, and dont act like youre an interruption. I brought in a bike for a new inner tube — which I assumed Id have to pick up the next day, which was fine. The tech helping me started fixing it BEFORE I put my wallet away. So impressive.

They have beautiful bikes of amaizing quality, I wanted to just go to Walmart for a bike, but they were completely out of adult sized bikes due to the pandemic. I then remembered, that there was a bike shop nearby. I gotta say, Trek is pricier than Walmart would have been, but youre paying for quality and a bike that will last longer than your standard Walmart or target bike. The employee that took care of us was Patrick, he was awesome. Gave us all the info and details regarding the bones we were browsing. He was nice enough to play along when I asked him to just say the price of the bike as I point I pointed at a good 9 bikes Haha. He was a good sport, he helped me find a bike based on my daily routine. Trek also allows you to pick up the bike whenever its convenient for you, my car wasnt big enough, so I had to pick it up the next day. They were very helpful. Ill you guys right now the prices for their bikes range from $250-$10,000. So very prepared. knowing how frugal I can be, my bike was deffinetly on the lower end of the price range.

Jimbo in the services department is excellent. I took my bike in for a major service. It’s an old Trek 4300 and instead of investing in a new bike; I trusted the Trek store to “rehab” the old bike. After an initial pricy service; I asked Jimbo to check on a couple of things that still needed adjusting. He took ownership of that entire service and really did a great job. I picked up the bike and rode it home along the SR 84/New River Greenway (which BTW makes this store very convenient if you’re riding at Markham Park or the Levee). While I was riding home I was thinking that the bike rode like it is brand new after the service. Thank you Trek and especially Jimbo.

I came to this dealer because I needed an expert on what parts to buy and install on my bike. Not all the mechanics and employees are experts. The mechanic I got installed a cassette/flywheel that was to big for my bike which caused to much tension on my chain and ripped of my derailer. I am happy that the store and a more experienced mechanic acknowledged the mistake but I had to pay for all the parts to be reinstalled. I am out over $300 at this point, I had to buy a new derailer, cassette and now stuck with a cassette that doesn’t fit my bike. Hesitant to go back.Update: 9-29-21: I can back for maintenance since I had paid for a three year plan. Same “mechanic” that gave me bad advice as to what cassette to put on my bike that ended up destroying my derailer is now telling me my cassette needs to be changed because it’s worn out. It’s less than 6 months old and I only ride this bike on the weekends, it probably has 20-30 rides maximum since it was replaced. Hard to believe. I just lost all confidence. The only good mechanic left is Jimbo.

Purchased 6 or 7 bikes from here all with great experience. Turnover of employees has really made this place go downhill. Customer service is out the window. Bike has been in for 5 weeks for a TIRE and a tune!?! Just ordered on Amazon. I’ll do it myself.

Had never bought a serious bike before. Was lucky enough to walk in and buy a bike off the floor at the beginning of July. Alfonso helped me pick the right size and it just so happened they had one there. He also answered any questions I had regarding what type of bike I should get depending on what kind of riding I wanted to do. Spent more than initially budgeted but in these times you take what you can get! Very happy with the bike either way.I just got it back after taking it in for a tune-up which they do for free during the first year of ownership. Took two weeks to get the bike back but I can’t blame the team here, it’s obvious they are slammed with the massive increase in demand for everything bike-related during COVID.

I have been shopping at this store for a while now. Usually deal with Saul but all store associates including Danny the manager are super nice and not pushy at all, they make recommendations base on your needs and don’t try to over sell you.Just purchased two 2017 Madone 9 frames 50 cm and transferred the parts from our older Madones 5.9 & 7 to these new frames. Upgraded to SRAM eTap and Aeolus 5 D3 wheels, Logan, the technician worked very hard to get these ready just in time for Christmas both my wife and I are very happy with these bikes.We also purchased Trek Xcaliber 9 and 7 MTBs which we enjoy riding very much.Prices are reasonable and service is great, I recommend going to this store.

My wife and I walked in to the Sunrise Trek store over the weekend with a used bike that was given to us. The bike was not usable because the front wheel was off and missing the quick release needed to put it on, tires were flat, chain was rusty and brakes were messed up, etc. We inquired about the cost of getting it tuned up and in riding condition. Since the bike was older and was given to us, we didnt want to put much money into it. Well, first off, as we walked in, we were immediately greeted by several very friendly staff members. One of them checked in the back to see if he had the missing quick release in stock. When he came back, he said he didnt have a new one in stock but DID have a used one that was the correct size and said we could have it for free. Then when I asked if he thought the bike was worth investing any money on, he put the bike on a stand and he and another staff member checked it out. But not only did they check it out, they inflated the tires, but the front tire on with the quick release he had given me, checked the gears, did some minor tuning of the brakes, lubricated the chain, and did a few other things. They actually checked out the bike and got it into usable condition and did NOT CHARGE A PENNY! If we wanted to, we could have gone further and paid a very reasonable fee to get it thoroughly tuned up and cleaned. But they said the bike was in good shape as it was. I cannot say enough good things about this bike shop. Every retail store could take a lesson from these guys! I will be needing a bike for my son in the near future and I would not hesitate to purchase it from this store. I highly recommend them!
