Annette did an amazing job for our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for anything more delicious or beautiful for our special day. Twisted pastries was quick, responsive, creative and wonderful to work with. They have the options of fresh flowers and it was stunning. Twisted Pastries is an adorable little cafe with delicious food! I am absolutely not a fan of cake. I dont like frosting nor the texture of cake. However when I saw they had a raspberry lemon cupcake (my two favorite fruits), I had to try it. It was like God himself came down and created this little pastry. I sobbed tears of joy as I tasted the first cake Ive actually enjoyed eating.I also tried one of their lemon macarons, and my only regret was that I didnt buy more!Their food was great as well. I tried the southwest wrap and I definitely will be going back for more.

Cupcakes are amazing! I love how dense the cheesecake ones are. Also the frosting is creamy and not too sugary.

Great local coffee shop with amazing pastries, including many gluten free options. Usually not too busy until later in the morning and early afternoon. Ive had fruit-filled scones, decadent cupcakes, and perfect macarons! They have the usual lattes and cappuccinos of course, as well as some specialty hot drinks and smoothies. A cozy, friendly place to stop for a drink or a snack!

When I first booked Twisted Pastries for my wedding desserts/display, I was excited to have the cupcakes that I had tasted/seen during my consultation. However, wedding day came and the cupcakes were so dry, that the staff of my wedding venue told me I should throw them away and to not waste my time saving them :( After tasting one I agreed to toss them. They tasted as if they were made a week prior to the event. Lots of money wasted but life goes on.After this disappointment and many of my wedding guests agreeing with how dry the desserts were, I was treated very rudely by the owner of the establishment. Snarky comments had been made over text due to the fact that one of the dessert trays had gone missing during cleanup (its a busy day and things happen). I was happy to pay to replace it, but instead she ignored my questions and took half of my deposit. This was a whole lot more $ than replacing it for her... Very poor customer service in my opinion.

Great coffee shop with treats

This place is wonderful. The coffee (I got an iced white mocha) is fantastic. The food is just amazing as well. It’s cute- comfy seating, not too small interior. Really friendly employees who don’t rush you when you have the clueless look in your eye while looking at the menu. Definitely worth a stop in!

My family and I stopped in on our way back home from Duluth. Had some of there donuts and they were excellent. They also sell buns to some of the local restaurants.

Wonderful & quaint coffeehouse in downtown Superior. The latte was perfect & reasonably priced. Cookies & sweet treats looked great. There are a few sandwiches & such to order also. Wouldnt hesitate to come here again.

Cozy atmosphere. I ordered the Chocolate, red velvet, and vanilla cupcakes. The staff wasn’t unpleasant but not particularly nice or friendly. The cupcakes were just about everything that could go wrong in baking. Flavorless cake and frosting. The cupcakes themselves were over baked as could be, each like a hard dish sponge. I could barely peel off the wrappers because they were so over done. Exceptionally disappointing, but at least I only wasted $8 and change.

Pastry was very good. Americano, not so much. Would not go there again for that reason.

Their pastries are tasty for sure and their breakfast sandwich is a hidden gem. Simple and yet absolutely delicious. Their speciality coffees could use a little more espresso but are still pretty good.EDIT: So I’ve been ordering from here for a bit of time now and thought adding an extra shot to my mocha would liven up the drink. It turns out it tastes even more watered down. This typically means shots pulled are either not tamped tight enough, there are not enough grounds, or they are pulling the shots for too long, stretching the espresso thin. I will continue to order from this company because I love their food. As a coffee lover, I hope they take this constructively and reconsider how they pull their shots.

The food was ok, but it came out 15 minutes before our drinks did, so we were already done eating by the time our drinks arrived. The staff seemed overwhelmed and weren’t bringing drinks out in the correct order, they brought someone a second identical drink on accident, and responded to people waiting impatiently by giving them their drinks before the rest of us. Staff was friendly, but the level of customer service was unacceptable. Will not be going to Twisted Pastries again.

SO SWEET! the counter staff is so friendly, each cupcake is like a work of art, I can’t believe the naysayers in the previous comments. Just shows how spoiled people are. This is an AWESOME bakery. It rivals any i’ve been to in Europe.

Super friendly staff with smiles that wont quit! My caramel macchiato was excellent as was the house brew that my husband had. We had a quick breakfast of cinnamon roll and cinnamon chip scone. Yummo! They warmed the roll for us and the scone wasnt the usual crumbly kind Ive had in the past. It had a nice little caky chew to it! Cute cupcakes and donuts in the case too!

I tried the blueberry scone and a coffe. The coffe was quite light for my taste and the owner kindly added an espresso shot that made it delicious. My wife had a Farmers market panini and cafe latte. We were very happy with the our food and staff is very well costumer service oriented. 5 stars for everybody

Wonderful coffee shop! The plain black coffee was really good and the bakery is wonderful! The cupcakes were out of this world and the cinnamon scones are awesome! Friendly staff. Will make a point to visit again when we are in the area!

Great staff the barista Steph was extremely helpful and extravagant at her job and her drink making skills. Great coffee! Open on holidays (only time I have ever get to come here) Has the Duluth Coffee Company on tap along with the nitro, and cold press. Had the Ham it up sandwich that had ham and provolone cheese cooked on a Panini grill real Hellmanns mayo. Great pasties too! Prices were right in line with GREAT coffee. Cafe was cozy to have a meeting plenty of power outlets for phones and computers. Bench on the wall was extremely comfortable and easy to get lost in work. Parking was easy right off Tower. Cafe was clean and smelled like a warm cup of coffee. Great choices for dairly free drinks with almond, coconut, and soy milks.

It was a nice atmosphere but I paid nearly thirty dollars for cupcakes and they were inedible. The frosting could have been just whipped butter with food coloring and the cake was dry. They are very picture worthy sweets but not worth it.

I ordered cupcakes and a small cake for our wedding! We had 300 cupcakes and every single one was made with perfection! Many people came up to us and asked where we ordered the cupcakes because they were so good! Definitely some of the best cake I have ever had in my life! Annette was so friendly and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The prices were great for my budget too. I highly recommend!

Small local coffee shop. I finally tried this place and so glad I did. I have tried the sandwiches some of the backed goods and of course the DULUTH COFFEE COMPANY coffee. The food and coffee are pretty standard coffee shop prices. The staff here is top notch always friendly. The owner hires great people and runs a great business.

How was my experience? I came there to buy a birthday cupcake, donut and specialty coffee for my best friend that I also work with for her birthday. Well, the website states they open at 6:30 a.m. I sat outside for 15 minutes this morning waiting for this establishment to open. I work at 7 a.m. so I had no choice but to leave. If youre not going to be open when you say you are going to be open, change your times on your website. I went to another bakery and on my way back down Tower at nearly 7 a.m., they still were not open. If I didnt have to hit a star to put this review out there, I wouldnt. What a waste of time.

I tried this coffee shop while visiting the Superior area, it is a wonderful place. Nice atmosphere and great food. The coffee was really good and the cupcakes were fabulous. The staff and owners are wonderful people. I will definitely be back as I found my new favorite coffee shop to visit when I am in Superior. It is businesses like this that make a town special. Great coffee and really tasty paninis. Their desserts are so filling with new flavors and fresh items everyday. I give them a four star because of I love the atmosphere but some of the menu items are a little pricey.

Such a great coffee house, with much more than great coffee! Love the breakfast sandwich and the Tower Avenue Panini. They also have delicious chocolate chip cookie bars! Great for a quick bite, or a sit in with a good friend, or to relax on your own.

This past weekend they put together the most gorgeous cupcake table for a wedding. The flavors were all fall inspired and I tried the pecan pie one and it was delicious. I will definitely be referring my couples who are looking for dessert options for their events to them!

This is now my new favorite place to get my frozen blended coffee. Theirs actually has a great coffee flavor and the sugar free does not have an after taste. I have also tried some of their cupcakes and they are good also.

Friendly staff with amazing drinks. I worked on my laptop for about 3 hours... Everyone seemed happy and content with the service and with the product. the only thing that was less than five stars in my opinion was the breakfast sandwich.

Coffee is decent, employees are friendly, atmosphere is welcoming... but the food fell short. We ordered a cake pop, a brownie, and a breakfast sandwich. Cake pop was dry and crumbly, brownie was bland, chalky and dry, with no cocoa taste at all. The breakfast sandwich tasted okay but looked like it was run over from the panini press they put it in. Ive been here before and enjoyed it, but was let down this time. Unfortunately, I wont be back.

The prices here are really reasonable and the coffee is good. But it doesnt really have a vibe of a place to hang out. Its more of a get what you want and leave kind of coffee place. Not my favorite atmosphere but overall nice place.

Their Coffee is great, their pastries are amazing, but the best part about them is the service itself. They are fun and easy to talk to, and they get you what you want when you want, no need to wait. Twisted Pastries is simply Fantastic, and super delicious.

If you’re looking for a quieter place to sit down, have a great cup of coffee, and read or do some work on your laptop, this is my favorite place in Superior now to go to. It’s a more “professional” feeling environment, so I suspect some college students might not feel it’s as “fun”, though I’m around the college age and I really like the look and feel of the environment.

Nice little coffee shop. Kinda busy at lunchtime to grab a quick cup and run. Reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Will have to stop on a day off and grab lunch!

I really love this coffee shop. Sadly, their cupcakes have been really heavy and the last few drinks Ive gotten were not that good. I just recently got the honey lemon cupcake and I love lemon but there was no lemon flavor at all in the cupcake, not even a hint. A really nice place with very friendly staff but it can be a hit or miss on the food and drinks which will make this place only an occasional stop for me.

Come to Superior for coffee if you need to have a quiet spot to sit and work and chat. There are no Starbucks in Superior WI. This is a good thing, as we have Twisted Pastries (and other coffee shops here) instead. It has what you need. Good coffee, good pastries, ice water, WiFi, friendly staff, some good sandwiches, power at each seat, USB power, easy parking. All that a coffee shop should be. Nothing earth shattering, but a good place for coffee.

I have been there a few times. Delicious sandwiches and I absolutely love the beer butter cupcakes! It can be a hit and miss with their baked goods now though. Some are good and others not so much.

Always a great coffee 👌 I like that they have healthy breakfast options, as well as massively decorated delicious cupcakes. As for beverages, they have dairy free options and a decent variety of iced and hot drinks.
