We have a 2005 Newmar Kountry Star motor coach on a Spartan chassis with a Cummins ISC powerplant. Owners of Spartan chassis and the ISC know there are known problems that occur at low mileage ..... ball joints and exhast manifold gaskets. We had both these items repaired on two different visits. We found Lynn (service manager) and the tech team to be very courteous and easy to work with. We scheduled an appointment and were in and out the same day. The shop is very clean and well organized. The bill statement described in detail the repair process and the work completed. The techs were very clean and wore booties when they had to go inside the coach. From our experience we would highly recommend Boyer Trucks Superior for servicing your motor coach. Were looking forward to getting a front end alignment when they have the new alignment rack in place.
HORRIBLE REPAIR I DIAGNOSED 1 PROBLEM MY 7.3 INTERNATIONAL DIESEL MY FUEL BOWL HEATER WAS OPEN I BROUGHT NEW HEATER AND FILTER I WANTED MY GLOW PLUGS FUEL INJECTORS AND GLOW PLUG MODULE ALL THEY DID WAS REPLACE PARTS I HAD BROUGHT MY COMPLAINT WAS COLD STARTING IN COLD WEATHER THEY CHARGED ME 2.5 HOURS AT $138.00 PLUS TAX $365.71!!!!!365.71 !!!!!
Good people to deal with. No passing from person to person re-explaining yourself or problem to ten different people. One person helped us and the same guy that helping load it.
Beware. Had them replace all injectors in 60 series 12.7 and truck now has mid-range sputter. Tech had no idea why. Tech also took the liberty to program in speed limiter according to ESN and refused to remove it due to liability .. Powerplay
I brought my Freightliner RV in there in sort of a panic (I had just had a blowout, and it took out my headlight and did some other damage, and I needed things fixed and looked over). They got me fixed up right away and on my way. Even cleaned my rubber-scuffed fender without me requesting, or charging me for it. The blowout was a stressful experience, and their quick and thorough help took the edge off. I dont normally leave reviews, but felt this was all worth mentioning.
Went in for low oil pressure they replaced oring in sump said was fixed did no testing to see had to take to different dealer to get fixed
Open 7 days a week and Im happy about that. Blew a high pressure hydro line on our RV, limped in Saturday late a mechanic found the problem and said we could stay in their lot and take it off Monday and make a new hose. 7:00am in to a excptional clean work shop. Our knowluble mechanic had it off and fixed in no time at all. Very fare on price of getting it fixed. Top notch business. Thank you again on getting us in and fixed.
Great place very nice staff
Dan. Called in a parts guy to sell me a serpentine belt on a Saturday...saved my ass. Wish they were open on Saturday for service work... Im very happy with this company...best dealership in the truck business....after 16 years in trucking...that is saying something..thank you guys...way beyond the call of duty...
Had a clutch replaced they took more than a week and tried to charge me $5,500 after quoting me a maximum worse case scenario $3,500. They said the mechanic had over 26 or 27 hours on the job. Now my rear main seal and transmission lines are leaking less than 3,000 miles. I never had a leak before. They damaged fuel lines and coolant lines put the transmission back in and then fixed them without saying anything but charged me for it.
If I could give a minus one star I would. Terrible service, it took 2 months for them to replace our RV engine. They replaced it last year, the engine was under a 3 year warranty, both parts and labor, we used it three times, the new engine they replaced broke down too. Jasper the engine company provided another engine at no charge, however, Boyer charged us $4,000 for labor. No hours listed on the invoice, nothing broken down as to how they came up with this fee for labor, which was under warranty. Then they left a present in our toilet, as they clearly used our toilet while it was being repaired. Never ever again!
Worst place ever. They have had our truck a week to replace the kinpins. Should have taken a day. They dont call for updates, but when we call they say they were just about to call. Truck has been sitting and they need to order another part. So we wait. Same situation several times over the last week.
Very professional
Very friendly and very helpful. We were in one day out the next. Clean. Allows dogs in driver lounge.
Sent them an email in Apr/May inquiring about service on diesel pusher motorhome. No response. Booked appt on-line and asked service advisor to contact me. No response. Called them on June 27 and service advisor (Michelle) couldnt answer basic questions about routine service. Appt on June 30, requested oil change, lube, check brakes and check tires. Service advisor couldnt answer basic questions about recommended service for Freightliner chassis or Cummins engine. Charged $458 for oil change, lube and brake check. Tires not checked. No explanation of work or charges. Not impressed, dont recommend, and will not return.
Lots of waiting. But, worth it.
They have the parts I need
