Daniel and his team of of techs, took time to evaluate our 05 Dodge PU before presenting their assessment of needed repairs. Daniel asked for details of how we used our PU, and what we expected from it after his shops repairs. The repairs were major, not unexpected for a heavy hauler with almost a quarter million miles. A transmission, turbo and thermostat were the big items. The work was timely, within estimates and warrantied. We highly recommend this business.

Had my 2005 Ford Excursion 6.0 Bullet Proofed by Desert Diesel. Anyone who owns or is thinking about obtaining a 6.0 should prepare for this major repair well in advance and not be shocked by costs. Long story short, the heads lasted about 6 months before issues came up with excess coolant pressure again. I worked with Danny to get the issue repaired and he was able to warranty the cracked heads with no cost to me but downtime. I will definitely return for repairs that I cant handle myself and ensure that my buddies with Diesels pay his shop a visit too. Nothing more needs to be said when you stand by your work. You won’t find a more dishonest shop in AZ right down to all of the bogus 5 star reviews. After suffering head gasket failure, Danny and his team proceeded to throw parts at the problem and only made it worse. I ended up having to buy a new motor elsewhere plus pay Danny. And they stole a generator out of the back of my truck.I know there are lots of 5 star reviews. This is part of their scam. Be weary. These people are targeting and stealing especially from whites. I literally lost $35,000 to these miserable thieves.And then they reply to bad ratings like they are totally innocent. This is a DO NOT BUY warning!

Its been 2 weeks since I got stuck in pheonix 1k miles from home after my dodge diesel broke down spent 3 miserable days trying to find a mechanic and then came accross Desert Diesel and they hooked me up that same day. Now my truck has been running like a beast.

I have two diesel trucks for work. They constantly need preventive maintenance and from time to time parts breakdown. I have used several diesel mechanics in the area but desert diesel is by far the best in the metropolitan area. These guys left my broken truck at a gas station down the street and told me to go fetch it. When I got in the truck was full of their trash and my A pillar cover was broken off. These guys dont communicate at all and were super careless with my truck. Shame.

I called and asked how much for a simple exhaust modification and a new exhaust tip. They gave me a price on the phone and said to come by and they could take care of it that afternoon. I drove there and then they doubled their over the phone quote and told me they would not have time to do it that day. Needless to say I left and was very disappointed.

Did some work on a new truck we bought and called Daniel at Desert diesel performance to see if he could do a quick tune on the truck and had no problem driving out later that night to get the truck running 100%. Also after taking my truck to the dealership for numerous screw ups on the coolant system they had repaired I noticed they wiped my whole ECU for updates under my MOPAR warranties even after asking them not to do any updates they still did it. I’ve been really cautious on leaks and had a little scare and Daniel took a quick look to reassure me I didn’t have another leak while also uploading my tune file for the truck that had been wiped. When the warranties expire I know where this truck is going from now on!

These guys at Desert Diesel really know their stuff. I contacted (by recommendation) Daniel to set up repairs for my car and he was professional and courteous. While I was dropping my car off he pretty much diagnosed the issue with out even checking it first.. Just by the conversation we had he knew what my transmission needed. He did call me later and verify that the issue was what he thought it was. Since my car was getting transmission work done I also had them replace my clutch and change the engine oil while it was there. Daniel and his guys are good, dont the the name of the shop fool you. Highly recommend these guys. As a car guy who has been in the car business for over 30 years I have to tell you this is the place to go. After conversing with Shane over the last two weeks we decided that the EFI live tune and exhaust for my 2011 Ram 2500 would best fit my needs. Man am I glad I listened to him. My truck now runs like a bat out of hell. I couldnt be happier. I can change the tune from stock to eco to tune to performance on the fly! Plus with new exhaust it sounds like a true diesel. (2) you should NEVER bring any vehicle you own to Danny at Desert Diesel. They sell you parts you don’t need and then in some cases don’t even install the parts they sold you. Or they install Chinese knock offs to save money. You will NEVER get your car fixed at Desert Diesel. Especially don’t ever take a diesel truck here. (3) it’s a high crime area. Danny was great to work with. I went in with a loud noise Cummins from trans on my 05 ram 2500. I thought it was a flexplate turned out it needed a whole rebuild. Danny was patient while I shopped around. He had the best price in the area and used the best parts. It runs better then it did. I will use him again definitely.

In the 10 years I have owned this truck its been very challenging to find the right skill set to make my truck reliable and have the power required to tow heavy trailers. I recently found on Google maps this little diesel shop in the west valley. My 6.0 Ford hydro locked with a injector issue from a previous owner. I put a message out on FB asking about this shop. Everyone said go see Daniel. I then got a instant message on Instant Messenger. Daniel towed my truck for free if I let Him diagnose it. I let him, he then told me that all 8 of my injectors were lose. He was very honest which is rare in this day and age for a complete stranger. I was very appreciative of his offer. Daniel even followed up with me after I got the truck home and still contacts me off and on. My F550 is running like a beast! Customer for life period.. I am extremely happy with the work Danny and his crew did with my truck. I took my 2013 Ram 1500 to get re geared to 4.56’s and even though they did not make the gears for the truck the guys at desert diesel went above and beyond to get those gears installed. Daniel offered a free tune for vets and active duty this past memorial day week. Tune is great, plenty of power for a tow tune, fuel mileage way up. The guy has a busy shop and still took the time to hook up some vets. That says enough for me. He even contacted me to check on the truck and make sure everything is running fine.5 stars from me.

This has been a very good experience. Had to get new fuel injectors and my truck tuned and from start to finish I could tell they wanted good reviews so they went the extra mile to make sure the customer was happy. I can say these guys know there stuff, I paid a little extra for the tuning of my truck but the end result was well worth it. Now my truck sounds and feels like its been completely rebuilt. Outstanding shop. I don’t let many people work on my truck but a friend told me about Danny and his shop. Decided to give it a shot on some stuff I wanted done. Couldn’t be happier. I took my 2006 f350 to Daniel with 330k on it. It was tired with a blown head gasket. As a military member I have become skeptical of shops who charge premium rates with substandard service. Daniel put me at ease and assured me he could build my 6.0 to better than new and he would standby his work. Desert Diesel runs this business how every American business ought to be run. They proved to be a bunch of hardworking guys who will go out of their way to make the experience a positive one right down to cleaning the truck before they return it. Daniel even delivered it back to my house when I was unable to pick it up. When I had questions he was always there to answer them as well. I have since had them upgrade the turbo and replace the injectors and the truck runs amazing. I will continue to take my truck to Desert Diesel and recommend you do the same. Turbo went out in my Cummins towing my 30 foot trailer, found desert diesel, got a new turbo plus much more, the guys here are very experienced and knowledgeable men, I would recommend this shop 10/10. Went from dead stock to 580 horse no problems, Danny is a genius.

Danny and his mechanics are badass!! They get the job done! took in my truck for a transmission repair, fried T-case. Got a good quote, went with it and Danny rebuilt it in house and hooked me up with his tunes, now my truck is a whole different animal! I have been to Danny with Desert Diesel twice now. The first time, he actually picked up my truck from the service dept at Ford. He noticed things that Ford did not even tell me about and came in a lot better in price too. The 2nd time he was able to get my truck in right away, which was important because I own a pool company. Had check engine light on and the engine was surging. Danny knew right away what the problem was and explained the problem and what needed to be done to fix it. His shop was knowledgable, and the work was done in a timely manner. When the work was completed and I had left the shop with the truck, Danny called me after hours to find out how the truck was running and if I had any issues with the repairs that were made. I have been quite satisfied with the shops work and wouldnt hesitate to return for future service and/or repairs.

I own and operate a transportation company and moved to Arizona about a year ago and live about an hour from the shop. It is worth every second to take my truck that far. Danny knows all there is to know about diesel trucks. Desert Diesel saves Christmas. I own a 1962 Crown Firetruck that comes out at Christmas time to be enjoyed by Adults and kids alike. When preparing it this year, tried to fire it up it was dead. With Toys for tots and annual blanket drive and 0$ budget Danny and his team came to the rescue. With a loaner battery from Interstate Battery and Dannys team we were up and running with hours to spare. I took my 2008 Dodge 2500 in for a trans service. The guys at the shop did a great job. It was completed on time and at the price he quoted me! The truck was clean and no leakes! Major motorhome breakdown on a Friday. Dan and his crew went to work Monday morning on the engine repair. I was back on the road by Wednesday. I now have better mileage and more power than when the motorhome was new. Great crew and excellent service. Dan went way out of his way to get us back on the road! He has even called me twice since we left to check if we were having any more trouble. Great service, great people to work with!
