Long line at the checkout but only one cashier. Employees seemed rushed and not any time for customers. Shelfs were all stocked and very organized. Unfortunately, they had a VERY small selection of Halloween stuff but the Christmas items are already out and they have lots of it everywhere.

Had a good selection of Holiday decorations but the customer service was just ok. We had a question and didnt get much help from the employee we talked to.

Finally the shelves are well stocked with a good selection of products. Busy on a Saturday and staff were efficient. Great place to shop for fun finds!

One of the nicest Big Lots. Very clean and nice staffers. And the sale tax here much better compared to areas like Glendale or Phoenix. I would love to come back here for shopping and recommended for pleasant shopping.

Big lots was ok. I was led to believe the prices were low and I stood in line for what I thought to be a long time.

Wow. Service was incredible. Review came too late to remember some names but I think it was Kathy or Karen was exceptionally helpful and Gabriel was instrumental in getting the big heavy box in the truck.

Deals are good! Parking is decent. Evening employees seem a little flustered when you ask anything. I did have a really nice female employee help me get some stuff off the top shelf she was day shift.

Clean and neat inside. Great place to grab gifts, food, or even purchase furniture. The staff was friendly, and the prices very good.

I was stoned having just come from the weed store.

Tim was awesome in the furniture area. Even though it was shortly before close he quickly loaded my bed purchase. My cashier Kaylee was also super helpful. I’ve worked in retail for 20 years so I know how hard it is especially after a long day but both these individuals treated me like I mattered which I appreciate greatly!

Well its their loss I went in two by two bedroom sets and two mattress sets nobody would help me so Im on my way now too a few other furniture stores to look found what I wanted there but if they dont want to help but I guess they dont make money

Talking about a positive experience how is this even possible such incredible service today at big lots here in surprise Arizona. I’ll mention her name first it was Becky I called her up on the phone the previous day about our concern I had. she told me to come on in the next day that I was able to and lo and behold it was like magic. I had asked Becky if she could help me use a birthday 20% off coupon that we had forgotten to present at the store. we made a considerable purchase the previous day. She said come on in and I said well I’m not sure I can find my store receipt she said OK come on in and we’ll still make it happen.Becky did not fold under the pressure and I’m sure to her it was not any pressure at all but I know that cash register which is actually a computer Was indeed very busy with each keystroke getting closer to arranging for my purchase from the previous day and another one that I was adding to the total that day were all coming together.And to complete my day Big Lots had a supply of my favorite product that they carry it was called Boylan’s bottled soft drink my favorite flavor is Boylan’s birch beer. she said she just filled the shelf with them and I was happy to empty that shelf LOL .. 1 million thank you’s Becky you showed me what a courteous conscientious and nice person really is like.Happy birthday to me!!! I enjoyed myself at big lots today in Surprise, theyve got beautiful Halloween and Christmas stuff out. The only thing I need to say to them is to please put someone out on the floor to help the customers. There were two people in the store working and they were both running the register, myself and another customer really needed some help out on the floor and it was impossible to find anyone.

Tried to visit the store but couldnt get in. Pepsi truck parked in front of the store entrance, in the fire lane blocking the wheel chair ramps. Asked the guy to move but he flipped off my disabled child and myself. Definitely not coming back.

I hadnt been there in a couple of years and boy they sure have changed. Not for the better. They have a huge section of furniture where grocery section use to be. Their prices are not consumer friendly and the aisles are so small and tight two people with cars are unable to pass each other. If you want to look at anything, park your cart at the end of the aisle with everyone else . Bought a Yankee candle there because I thought it was a good deal. Had to look through a dozen before I found one that evidently had not been sitting in some hot warehouse, melted and re-hardened. Smelled good. Got it home and there was no scent at all. Wont be shopping there again. Big Lots should change their name to Big Lots of furniture and high priced dollar store items.

Doing great a social distancing, though missing much of their stock. All employees wore masks and maintained social distancing. Great job! Only complaint is they bagged my deodorant and candle with my food. But no worries!

If you want to know the price of most items, then you need to find an employee and theyll be angry that you interrupted them. Wont go back and I used to shop there quite a bit. 😪

I truly enjoy shopping at Big Lots. There is always cute home decor, adorable seasonable items and all kinds of little things for your house that you never knew you needed! Some things are a little more reasonably priced than others. And their clearance area in the back is always a great place to check out, as well. They also have a fairly decent selection of indoor and outdoor furniture thats worth taking a look at.

They just did a little bit of renovation to the cashiers station, that makes the check-out feel a little more like Michaels. Not good or bad, just new.Big Lots was always o e of those hit or miss places, but weve gotten more hits than misses. Bought a couch and recliner here, and so far, theyve bee real sturdy (as tested on a daily basis by lur 5-year old.)Their decor stuff is pretty nice, but I wouldnt go here for bed sets. All in all, its a good store, with a pretty friendly staff.

One of the nicer big lots. Always clean! Always have shelves faced and stocked. The staff is more than happy to help of you need help finding anything, plus ya save a couple bucks work their phenomenal pricing.

You do need to be price savvy, since not everything in the store is the best price available. But deals can be had, and they also carry some things not readily available elsewhere.

Sometimes its a good place to find oddball items

Good service. Other than continuing to suffer from the national iso (rubbing) alcohol shortage, they had pretty much all that we needed.

Clean store, found pillows we wanted. Disappointed all checkout clerks were not wearing masks for our protection. We were wearing masks to protect them. One checkout clerk was wearing a Mask. We went to her,checkout.

This Big Lots is organized, much different than the B L in other areas. Product also is better, therefore the prices are a little higher but still reasonable and can still find great deals. Theyre ready for Xmas with decorations, baking goods and snacks .

Saw a lot of customers not wearing masks in the store.. they have signs everywhere in the store to wear masks but seems like they dont care, will not be back

Love shopping at Big Lots! So many sales, so little time. They have so many options and I have to come in to get my Bear Creek soup and coffee. Their pillows to add a little color or even change the whole style.

Its always a fun shopping day at Big Lots! You never know what youll find. I always check here before going to the department stores to see if they have what I need. Its Hit or Miss but a lot of times you can find some really great things at low prices! Also, they carry mattresses which is great for spare rooms or guest rooms that dont use very often.

Great sales for house decor! Employees are not very knowledgeable nor friendly but its a good place to check out once in a while.

The clerks were so friendly and helpful. I had a full cart with both large and small items. Even though there was customers behind me, he took extra care in handling and wrapping several items that could easily be scratched in the trunk of my car. He wished me happy New Year.

Great place to shop for bargains. You have to know pricing as some items are a good deal and some not so much. They have some good deals on indoor and outdoor furniture. You can find a little bit of everything there. Friendly staff.

Best Big Lots anywhere.

I like browsing this store, they always have unique stuff. Since they remodeled it seems like they did away with a lot of the smaller items and added more big ticket items like furniture so its not quite as fun as it used to be. We still go - just not as often. We used to go, spend 30 or 40 minutes browsing and almost always find something to buy. Now it seems like were in and out in 10 minutes and I dont remember the last time we actually bought anything.

I do like going here. They always have extra items I need at a good price. Nice friendly employees.

Employees are friendly, knowledgeable and polite but every time I go in there the entire store is rearranged. Im finding the prices have increased considerably. Not able to find bargains there anymore. Disappointed.

This has been a fun stop with the kiddos when I have to kill some time after school. They usually have seasonal decorations out, which have always been more impressive than I expected from the store.They have a section of DVDs and Blu Rays, which are priced at $3 and $5 respectively. So its a nice treat to pick up a movie and some snacks here for the weekend.Im a big fan of La Croix and lately they have had a decent selection and the best price on it around.
