The hours online are never matched up to the hours on the door and half the time they close when we they want to. tonight it said 10 pm online, 8 pm on the door, and the 5 pm on a paper that was taped to the door. absolutely ridiculous way to run a business.

Staff is very cordial and nice. But Ive noticed theres constantly new ppl working here. Its never the same people. Also I think they need more people working at night to stock and for safety reasons. The shelves are always pretty empty or a mess.

At first I thought this store would be better if built on 163rd st but now that its finished & open, I think it turned out nice. The employees are very nice & keep the store clean & stocked. They have mostly anything you need & a great convenience/relief when you run out of something & dont have to drive miles into town. 👍

This place was nice and clean when it first opened. Lately the amount of organization and availability of goods has declined. Still, it IS convenient.

I come here often. Store is well stocked, clean and not cluttered. Often surprised by items that look like they came from BB&B.

Good little spot. Actually, not so little for a dollar store. Although, as all of them are these days, not everythings a dollar. But in my mind thats a good thing as they have a huge selection of different things. Being the *only* store in like a 12-15 minute radius from our newer neighborhood in Surprise, its super convenient to be able to pick up dog food, over the counter medicine, milk & eggs, frozen foods, plus the typical assortment of dollar store candy and other items. They really awesome part is they have their liquor license (only beer and wine though) and tobacco license (so cigarettes). They score *MAJOR* kudos from me for their well- done phone app. Way better interface than many other bigger stores, plus so many good deals and coupons you can save to your account ahead of time from your phone. It can also scan bar codes of items inside the store to either check price or add them to your virtual cart. Really surprising compared to some other stores apps, and quite frankly is pretty badass lol, esp all the potential to easily save a lil money on your purchases there. And no, I wasnt paid to write this review lol.

I didnt realize this hidden gem was so close to my home in Surprise!!!Every city should have at least 2 dollar general stores!!This one in particular has HANDS DOWN the best decor to cover you for any holiday including gifts!!!Dont hesitate to drop in and take a look.Make sure you have a good hour to look around, yes I said it an hour!! There is a lot to go through.

I go there all the time. Went there last night to use some coupons. Cashier was new. I wanted to use cash and card but she didnt know what to do and the person training her left to run an errand. After I left I noticed she didnt even apply my coupons and I had to do the whole transaction on my card. If I didnt have enough on my card I would have had to leave with nothing. I understand shes new but she shouldnt be left alone not knowing how to use the register.

I love shopping at DG as they have great prices and a variety of good products that you dont get at other stores.

Unfortunately, its disheveled, items strewn on the floor, and the parking lot has debris all over it. It started out beautiful, too bad theres no pride in the store now. Just very messy.

I was just harassed about not wearing a mask, and when I stated that I had a medical condition, they told me that I did not have a medical condition. Unbelievably insulting, and in violation of our freedom under the Constitution. Never had a problem before this. Theyve always been a great store before.

Convenient location for those of us out in northern Surprise, wide selection of stuff for sale, and fair prices (unless you need stuff in bulk). Its the kind of store you go to when you forget to get milk when youre in town at other places, or if you want a good deal on snacks or batteries. The service is also very friendly all the times Ive been there.

Great place for couponing. The manager and staff are very nice. Never a hard time when I coupon. But Im also very nice and understand when sometimes the sales dont work. Its the computer not the people.

Since I live in a rural area, its the only store around for miles. They carry just about anything you might need.

For the store to be fairly new it was very much stocked and the workers are nice. Always seems to be only one cash register though.

Well stocked convenience store with a very friendly staff. . The prices may be a tad high but it beats driving 7 mikes to the nearest gas station.. just about any household item you might need is there and more.A little update on this oasis in the desert. I still love it. When the pandemic first hit you could telltale employees were a little flustered and who could blame them. They worked their collective buttons off to stock the store and get in needed supplies asap! Now things have calmed down the store is clean again and the staff back to their cheerfully selves.When I heard of it being built I thought what nut is building store there? Here we are a year later and Im still glad its there. For those who have left bad reviews; what was your basis? AS fine foods? Albertsons? Trader Joes? Keep things in perspective people. Did you know the founder now his kids give away a lot of the stores profit to charity? That to me is a ++++. So when I realize I dont have milk or dog food. Its a 4 mile round trip instead of 18.

Walked into this place 5 minutes before closing looking to get a two items. I found one item, walked around and couldn’t find the other. Went to the front to pay, asked them about the product I could not find and if they carried it and the two stooges looked at each other and said “yeah”..... they didn’t offer assistance or give us direction where to find it. We just stood there like idiots waiting for the help that never came haha dorks! I’ll go again to see if they have learned any type of customer service.

Im pretty impressed with him much they have. My last minute meal ideas are usually completed by a quick run up the road to DG. Last night, we had burgers but I didnt have cheese or hamburger buns, but DG had it.Kids didnt tell me the dogs were out of food, so i came here to see what time they open. Glad I dont have to drive 15 minutes away to get dog food. Super convenient.Also, the staff is all super awesome. Im there enough to know them all. Lol.

The cell phone cards they sell there are rigged so you cant read the numbers on there and they wont even help you fix the problem or give a refund!
