Stopped in to the Surprise location to pick up a couple of bundles of fire wood. Had some trouble finding it so we asked Super Employee JACKIE for some help. She took us right to the location out in the garden section. There was lots of loose wood that was no longer in bundles laying on top of the wood that was still wrapped. JACKIE dug through the pile for us to get out some bundles. She also put a whole bunch of the loose wood in our carriage and said we could just have it. And then JACKIE went to the checkout to let the person there know that we only had to pay for the two wrapped up bundles. Our carriage was FULL OF WOOD. What a nice surprise this was. Just another example of the great bunch of people at our Surprise Home Depot!

Home Depot in Surprise was a zoo. Didnt wait long at all till help came to wood flooring. Brian was great. He helped my nephew and I, answered all our questions. Remained very professional at all times. Met us at pro check out with fork lift. Loaded 20 boxes wood flooring, 2 bottles water later, we were on our way home. Great experience, thanks Brian for taking good care of us.Hope to soon get Home Depot in Buckeye, AZ USA.

Great selection. The store is always clean. Slightly overpriced on most things and the staff is either hit ot miss you either get a die hard whos is happy to help or you get somebody who just doest care.

This used to be the best Home Depot around. Today we went to find a pipe fitting. Were told by 3 different people that they were too busy to help. Another said it wasnt his dept and to ask someone else. Needless to say, we left and wont return. Went across the street and found immediate help. See ya Home Depot!

I love the Home Depot. The pro center is awesome. As a contractor its important to know you can count on then. Also they have a pro line during this whole Covid thing so we can still get in and get out. Monique is amazing too you can always count on her. All the materials for this barn door I got at this Home Depot (minus the mirror, I have a glass guy for that)

Paint match was spot on. When we first moved in I mounted a large TV on the living room wall. I recently repaired that wall and took a sample chip of the original paint color to Home Depot. They matched it perfectly. Saved me from repainting the entire livingroom.

Remodeling my kitchen from appliances that were put in there from the 80s. Do modern Frigidaire stainless steel appliances. The salesman where great when it came to us ordering the appliances that we wanted. But do your own research on the items. As I found out I did not need certain accessories to go along but the appliances and save myself money.

Your staff of young and determined to go home employees just lost you guys a couple of dollars sale. Now I know its not much, at least they think that, but a dollar is a dollar, I forgot to make a copy of a key as I walked out of the store, I put my stuff down inside my car and went right back up to the door just as it hit 10:00 and by golly these kids are going home. Literally takes a minute or two to make a key its not like you guys are going home immediately anyways, as well as its not going to add on to your closing procedures. 30 seconds could have saved you from a two-star review, but I guess the younglings drive is to go home and not contribute to society. It was only the people up in the front, didnt really have much of a problem with anybody else in the store, just the younglings they are determined to go home.

Bought custom Doors from Home Depot in Surprise, Az(pantry and Office). Terrible experience. Doors were 3 months late, Pantry door ordered incorrectly by HD which we ended up cancelling and office door was explained as something different. Sales people, Assistant Mangers, and Store Manager extremely unhelpful, especially the Store Manager that never called back or got involved in any way. Really disappointed in the Surprise Home Depot as a customer that has spent a lot of money over the years at HD. Would give the Surprise, AZ zero stars if it was an option.

It seems like its getting harder to find simple things that I need. Lowes use to be like you guys are now, but have improved in been more organized like the way the old home Depot use to be. Sorry Guys but I shop all the time, it just seems like it getting worse????

It is a shame that I have to write this review against the Surprise Home Depot but I am unable to find a review concerning Home Depot Online. This is the second time I have ordered something from the Home Depot and it has been a disaster. I realize things happen but communication would go a long way. We ordered a desk that was to be delivered October 1st, the it was delayed to Monday, October 4th, then October 5th and now October 11th. Nobody can tell me what the delay is or where the package is located. On the 30th of September it was in Tolleson Arizona, 20 minutes from my house and 30 minutes from the home depot that was aa requested delivery point.

We have been trying ALL WEEK to get our flooring plans from when they measured FIXED. Pretty much EVERYTHING was wrong. The guy who came out for measurements took nearly 4 1/2 HOURS just measure our house. I said it very clearly when we scheduled the measurements what rooms were getting tile and which were getting wood. What did they do? PUT IT AS ALL WOOD!!! An that ain’t even the worst of it! The guy I spoke to on the phone with for 2 HOURS and was literally talking him through which ones were which to FIX it apparently DIDNT ACTUALLY FIX IT. Because the next day my husband called and NONE of the changes/fixes were there. Hubs got it squared away or so he thought but then had ME go in to the store to get the print outs of the plans. Now my husband’s a engineer and KNOWS how proper flooring plans should look like. I know a bit myself as I’m literally married to a engineer who does CAD work every single day. I’m looking through everything an several things did NOT look right at all. Turns out Mr slower than Molasses in winter got lazy with the curves of our closets and master bathroom! Not only that but our main hallway was put as TILE not the wood when I clearly stated MULTIPLE times that ALL current linoleum floors get replaced with the tile and the CARPETS get replaced with the wood. Save urself the damn headaches, exhaustion, frustration and anxiety by NOT going to Home Depot for flooring. Or counters either as we got a quote on just our kitchen an they said $12 grand. FOR JUST THE KITCHEN! They wanted $11 grand for a bloomin walk-in shower! while 2 other reputable companies said $12 grand for EVERY countertop in our house. Both bathrooms, kitchen, AND desk area. Nope nope nooooooope. No way no how, I’m done. Hubs is done. We’ll go elsewhere

Great place if youre looking for home-garden-construction builds, repairs or upgrades.Home Depot was convenient and helpful. They had the Arcadia door latch and hardware i needed to fix my dads Arcadia doors locking problems... After looking up online to determine if they had the hard to find locking mechanism, they did . I went there to purchase and items were not on shelf.. I asked for help and the person that helped me was polite and extremely helpful. They ended up finding the parts had been mixed in with a different style of latch/locks and place on the shelf in the wrong spot...Thank you for helping me and having what I needed to fix and secure my dads home .

Went for a lawnmower today and petty much had to help myself and answer my own questions since nobody was around to ask for help and the one person i did find in that department had no idea what i was even talking about and referred me to customer service. What a joke on service, if you go here make sure you do your homework on your items cuz no one here knows nothing about the department they work in.

Your service is so bad, when one of your female worker tells me that the label will give me the price because the male worker she was standing there talking to, I ask him to scan the code. Which I know how to read a bar code and then when I ask a female work to scan she was getting off work. Then she came and say so are discount piece I told her I know but they dont match up. I let her know she should get someone to put them in order.

They kept asking me if I wanted more wood then just one slab. I obviously said no and took my tiny piece of wood and placed it inside my grocery bag. Amen

Customer service at paint was absolutely pathetic. This clown by the name of Bob was there to make my experience the worst Ive ever had in my 20 + years of going to Home Depot. He had no idea what the return policy was for paint samples yet he’s talking to me as if he is some type of authority and contradicting what his colleague told me 2 days ago which is I can try the sample if it doesn’t work/match bring it back and exchange it for the glossier one. Avoid Bob like the plague if you have to get paint he’s super miserable and angry and projects it onto the customers. I will be contacting William Peterson the store manager.

The spray paint we wanted was not on the shelves. The employee climbed a ladder and found a box of what we needed. He could have easily said there wasnt any. Thank you for helping.

The customer service there is far from decent and worst than poor. If you call in to speak to someone in the pro desk they pass you around until the phone either keeps ringing or someone hangs up on you. Chris at the Pro desk is not very good at returning phone calls at all, even when trying to put in an order. It doesnt take but a couple of minutes to be courteous and at least say, hey I am very busy and will call you back as soon as I can. I will spend my money at Lowes from now on. Worst customer service ever and seems like they hired the laziest people to work there.

My husband had some question and the gentleman who works there gave him explanation about the item that my husband was looking for.The store was neat and well-organized. Unfortunately we couldnt find any item we were looking for. If they didnt have the item that you were looking then they will look up to their stores and let you know which store has it.My husband and I loved Home Depot overall. They have a good items, reasonable prices and also military discount 10% which will make different if you bought a larger amount of items like our blinds ( we actually bought those at Home Depot Peoria).

Bought paint from Home Depot, but not this particular store. The paint was the first we had purchased outside of Lowe’s and I’m sad to say it was a horrible mistake. The paint had something wrong with it and we ruined two different roller heads that were purchased at Lowe’s. Home Depot wouldn’t do anything about the roller heads even though the paint purchased from them did the damage to the roller heads. Wasn’t ever a customer and won’t be again.

It’s Home Depot. What can you really say. The employees are helpful. I don’t like when customers park their giant trucks and flatbeds in front of the store blocking the traffic.

Ive been going to home depot since I was a child with my dad, I didnt like it back then. LoLNow as an adult I go with my husband for our home needs and really like this clean location. Employees have always been kind which is always a plus.

If you want to get something you order online you might not want to shop the Surprise store. Home Depot SURPRISE AZ, our family does not appreciate you selling our product we ordered and paid for out from under us! We ordered online after store hours to ensure we could pickup the next day. Then not even notifying us that you had sold something to another customer after charging us for it. AND THEN still charging us for the warranty on that product! That’s pretty unprofessional and frustrating on a hard working family to now be running around the city hoping to find this freezer before my meat gets here! My husband barely just got home from work now has to leave again since the kids are already in bed. Thank you to the Happy Valley store for promising to hold one of theirs until we can get there. Surprise store, this is not the first poor customer service experience we had with you. I will now be shopping Lowe’s when I am in Surprise. I find it also pretty low you blamed it on the online dept for canceling the order and they informed me that it was the store who cancelled the order because you had sold your stock, (who is being honest?!) then she helped us find a store that had stock. The drive is a half hour further and it is near my husband’s work so he COULD HAVE picked it up after work IF the Surprise store had notified us this morning about canceling the order.

I only gave two stars because the guys who ended up helping us were amazing. We went into the store to get some concrete. We needed 20 bags. The kind we were using didn’t have enough of what we needed because a lot of the bags were ripped. A guy name Kyle who works in lumber refused to get the other pallet out of top stock for us because there’s “too much already down there”. Why someone would refuse to help a customer I don’t know. There wasn’t 20 bags on that pallet. We needed more and didn’t want to take ripped bags. He said he wouldn’t get the pallet out of top stock for us. He was very rude. The two gentlemen that ended up helping us after Kyle walked off ended up getting the pallet down out of top stock anyways. They were awesome, I didn’t catch their names but if it wasn’t for them we would be giving one star.

I went in to return a pocket hose (theyre awful, dont buy them) and a really great gal named Angel offered to help me.I had my receipt and expected things to go smoothly but their system was saying the item had already been returned. Um, ok?!Angel tried everything she could to refund my card but nothing worked.Thats when Melissa, the store manager stepped in.She was able to override the system and approve my return, paying me in cash.Both ladies went above and beyond to help me and Im very thankful for their efforts.

Bunch of body fillers, little help or effort to even make sure they know what they are talking about . When I send someone in for Catmint, dont tell him he is wrong there is no such thing and he must mean catnip. One is a beautiful blue flowering plant, without the stimulant properties and great for beginner garderners. There are 3 options on the home depot website that at least one of the 3 people could look up and give info on but just brushed him off and continued to move hoses in the way. Not a great experience for people already exhausted and looking for this specific plant to use for our cats burial memorial. I have liked the plant selection here but I wish there was more motivation from the team to provide options or at the very least alternatives.

Today I went to the Home Depot in Surprise. I was looking for some Autumn flowers, so I was planning on having lots of fun. I was joined by my best friend, my boyfriend Jims credit card! That credit card is really handy when I need to go shopping at Home Depot! They were loaded with beautiful flowers and lots of chrysanthemums, and I was happy to see that the Christmas trees were out too! Ill be going back again soon to get a Christmas tree for this holiday season. Yall have a great autumn...

We bought a Smoker from the Surprise and the clerk transfered the delivery to a Peoria store who called and said the couldnt deliver for two weeks??? Why was this done? We went to our Suprise store and picked it up but not without a small hassle. In the end the clerk took care of us and we were able to take the smoker home. What a pain.

Our experience at this store continues to be frustrating. Our most recent encounter...We ordered an item and received text message and email it was ready for pick up THREE seperate times yet each time when we went to pick it up or called it wasnt anywhere to be found. We were never able to talk to the same person and had to re-explain the situation more times than we had patience for. At the time of the third notification we received that it was ready, the full payment had cleared FOUR days prior. Not pending, not a hold - cleared! Finally we found a different Home Depot that had it in stock that is an hour away from our home. When we called to cancel the order at the Surprise location, all the sudden we were treated as we should have been treated all along. While I appreciate the $50 credit toward the $200+ item we were purchasing I truly wish we were given the same customer service in the beginning of this ordeal as we were given when we decided to cancel and asked for a refund. We do a lot of DIY work around our home (and for others) and Home Depot has always been our go-to for our supply needs. I truly hope they look into their inconsistencies & lack of customer service and make corrections or they will be losing customers faster than they gain new ones.

I used to be able to go to home depot and was helped by knowledgeable staff. Now the staff is way younger and pretty much confused about products. I needed to plug a hole in a pipe. The first guy took me to another guy who just told me they dont have anything like that. 1st, its freaking HOME DEPOT and a simple SMALL HOLE! REALLY???? 2nd, There are plenty of other options, just lost what was once a helpful source. Does anyone else feel like employees couldnt care less if you make a purchase. They just as well would like you not to bother them?

Used the store pickup system. Went to the locker in the front of the store, input my assigned sales number & there was my order. Very smooth system.

Very disappointed 😞 Many of the plants I looked at were in a poor state. Needed water badly, and the pavers were horrible. So many cracked, chipped and broken . I cant believe how bad it looked.

I ordered two pallets of the same type of wall block. One pallet looks great; the other is a different color and style (See picture). Home Depot tried to convince me they were the same even after I showed them the picture? Obviously, they are not. Now I know why the bad pallet was wrapped with white plastic instead of clear - so I couldnt see the block during delivery. They would not discount the return pick up charges or even meet me halfway on an exchange for a new pallet. They told me Id have to pay for a pick up charge AND another delivery charge for a new pallet. I dont post bad reviews very often because I try to work with all businesses to find solutions to problems, but Home Depot denied the problem existed and refused to partner with me to find a solution.

Terrible customer service. Asked a worker to cut me some chain he said he would be over in a minute. Never seen him again asked two others they said they would have to get the guy. After 15 minutes I left and went to Lowes and was asked 3 times if I needed any assistance. Got my items and was out in 10 minutes.

Kody is one of the young guys that help customers on the floor. I’ve had great customer service at the store before, but today Kody was the hero. The shelf was out of the Soft Water Crystals that I bought and he didn’t stop until he was able to track it down in the back room. He stayed with me the whole time and would go back and forth to check to make sure someone was bringing it out. When he loaded the three 40lb bags into my car he made sure the handles of the bags where facing out so it would be easier for me to unload the 40lb bags. He’s the type of employee that makes your company grow. You should know how VERY lucky you are to have him. Take good care of him. Thank you for Kody!!!

This has happened twiceWent to pick up area. Left a msg on space I was in & my order#. No one replied. Waited for 20 mins, nothing. Called customer service was transferred 3 times, no answer so called back she was going to transfer me again I said oh no, Ive been waiting out here way to long . She was very nice. Within 5 mins my order came out. As I was backing out of the parking spot a man knocked on my window asked if I got my order, told him yes, but I had to call customer services etc. He said he and another guy had been waiting over 40 minsSo, To HOME DEPOT, if you cant do pickups within a decent amount of time Stop doing it!!!I pick up at Walmart, Sams, Total wine, Best Buy etc and have NEVER had a problem. Some businesss actually have employees outside working the pickup area. Or, you call and get your order in a timely manner.Its Not rocket science!!!Kathy
