Quick and friendly service from the drive-thru. I had a cherry dipped cone. Pretty simple order but it was very good, enjoyable.

We love this location. Excellent staff. The are friendly, curteous and hard working. Tonight Spencer waited on us. Great service. We will return. The thin mint blizzards were delicious.

Service has been on a steady decline. The other day my family and I placed three separate mobile orders to go. Place the order at 1800. I get to the store about five minutes later. Anyway, I’m sitting out front for ten minutes and no one comes out. So I get in the line and go through the drive-thru, once I get to the window two of my shakes are missing and one of the shakes are non-identifiable, a few minutes later the one guy comes to the window and apologizes and ask me to pull to the front to wait some more. I finally got my orders about five minutes later. Anyway, when I get home only two of my six shakes taste as they should. I’m not even sure what these other blizzards are. The service at this particular location has been on a downward slope for quite sometime now. I understand it’s busy and all but how hard is it to ensure someone’s order is correct and made who they supposed to be made.

I love this location for ice cream. They always put a lot of toppings in the blizzards. You cant order most foods here though so we have to pass this place us and go to the Grand location usually.

Tonight the drive thru was blocked with a blank sandwich board so I went to the front door. The doors were locked and there was no sign on the door. The hours posted said they were open until 10 and there were several employees inside. I went back to my vehicle and as I was about to pull away an employee brought an order out to another waiting car. So I downloaded the app, and placed an order. After getting home 1 of the 2 items I ordered were incorrect. Not the best service.

Waited 30 minutes for 3 small blizzards and the guy who gave me my ice cream didn’t even say sorry for the wait

This location is a “Treat Center” meaning they serve very few hot/cooked food items . You’re going to want to find a “Grill and Chill” if you want any of the burgers or food like that. Also, another quirk of this location is that they must have trouble with their blizzard mixing machine, because it apparently cannot reach the bottom of a cup to mix a blizzard all the way through. Several times now I’ve wasted money to buy a blizzard that is nothing but vanilla ice cream on the bottom half of the cup. Others have also noted an unprofessional staff, and I’ve observed this as well. There appears to be no mature staff on hand so you can usually hear giggling in the background and see staff playing around through the window. I do not recommend visiting unless you’re grabbing a simple cone or dilly bar.

Dont ever do mobile order at this location. I waited inside for 30 minutes. The drive thru was moving right along but one person was trying to help everyone in the lobby. No one seemed to be in charge just a bunch of unsupervised employees unsure how to run the business correctly.

Not happy, again. Long wait at drive thru just to find out that they once again have no chocolate ice cream. Dairy Queen is an ICE CREAM specialty restaurant. How can they have no chocolate ice cream so often? Such a waste of time.

Great ice cream, but horrible food choices. There are no burgers or anything that a typical DQ has. They had no buns for sandwiches, so we got chili dogs and chicken bites. The chili dogs werent good at all. Our option for a side was chips... just dont go to this location.

We typically go to DQ once or twice a month as a treat for the kids. On two occasions now, a young man named Kylar has been at the drive through window to help us. He has the best upbeat personality for greeting customers. Always positive and helpful when making a request!P.S. I think the rest of the staff are pretty good because we havent had a bad experience yet.Thanks,Happy Customer

I love to come and get the super snack with my husband but wish they would add more than three strawberries to a Sundae.

Make sure you call in advance to ensure this location has the items that you want.Too many times items are unavailable. The assistant manager has plenty of excuses but not enough solutions.

I love Dairy Queen but these days the more and more I come the teenage workers get more lousy 🙂 also over fill ice cream witch then melts all over yourself and you’re car, do better.

I LOVE DQ! Im a regular at this location. Awesome service and great treats. Just two complaints ... they frequently run out of things. How does an ice cream store run out of chocolate??? They have an app to place orders for pickup either curbside or drive thru ... but they cant read the app at the drive thru. Whats with that?

This is a pretty busy dairy Queen location. They always seem to get the customers in and out pretty quickly. The staff seems to be having fun smiling and laughing with each other while working and interacting with the customers.

I have to give 2 stars because my DQ fav is a coconut pineapple and pecan blizzard. This DQ at least when I went last does not carry coconut! Thats Nutts! (Pun inteaded) All DQs should have the same toppings available. I understand the dinner menu differences between a DQ grill or a DQ and Orange Julius. Very dissatisfied because had my heart set on my tropical blizzard.

I love going to Dairy Queen for a banana split. The last time I went, they were out of strawberry topping. No problem. We switched to a cherry topping. Today, I go and the bananas are over ripe? So I am offered extra toppings without bananas or something else. Let me get this straight. I get to choose what I dont want or what I want, just not the way I want it or incomplete?! I accept the extra toppings. I get home, and it is a sloppy mess. No extra ice cream, just extra toppings. I should have just gotten my money back. Why did you run my payment before knowing what was going on at 5 PM on a weekday? I gave 2 stars because the young man was apologetic and tried to give me options. I am disappointed that, as a business, I couldnt have just gotten a banana split like I ordered. I dont treat myself much, but when I do, I expect to have at least the substance of what I want. What the hell is a banana split without banana?!

I asked what sundae is best. They suggested the cookie. I said I like caramel and substituted it for fudge. Looking forward to a tastie treat I received this? Not even close to any ice cream place.

We are so happy to finally have a Dairy Queen so close to home! The employees were very friendly, service was quick, and it is DQ so of course the food was wonderful. It is located very close to a high school so I would expect it to be very busy when they let out around 2:20p.

My husband and I visit this location frequently and are often helped by Cody! Talk about a rockstar employee. He is always so nice and friendly and supersedes our expectations when it comes to customer service. Thank you Cody for making our family’s experience to get ice cream so enjoyable!

Line was crazy long but I was surprised how fast and efficient they were. Plus my order waa as correct which was great with a huge line like that. Employees were in a great mood and were joking with each other and myself and made the environment happy. Would definitely go to this location again. Anyone who doesnt have the app Id strongly suggest to download it simply for the coupons and rewards program.

I am not very happy with my visit this time. I ordered a royal New York cheesecake blizzard and for some reason there are chocolate chips in it. There is nothing in the description about chocolate chips. I cannot eat chocolate due to an injury and the taste of chocolate makes me vomit. I ordered this because it isnt supposed to have chocolate in it.

We just Love DQ Ice Cream, Sundaes, Freezes, Shakes! DQ on Reems Rd has hot dogs and great pretzels but no hamburgers.

On a hot day, there is nothing better than a nice ice scream or shake or blizzard to make you happy. I love this place!

Will not return to this location. After waiting at the speaker for 5 minutes before being spoken to, their fryer was broken so didnt get chicken, which happens I understand. The other two things we ordered were messed up. The Dr Pepper ended up being a diet coke. The blizzard was good, until I got a long strand of hair in the 4th bite. What a waste.

DQ is a fond childhood memory for me. I always get a vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. Im glad theyre still around, especially given Disaster Covid.

The ice cream sundaes were perfect. The service was great, The fact that This Dairy queen does NOT offer a military discount will keep me from returning to this Dairy Queen. We served, We deserve, some gratitude for our service and any small amount of recognition makes me say I made the right choice. This Dairy queen will not be my choice for my family ice cream choice.

There isnt a Sunday that goes by that theres not small children running around on the inside. When I walk through the door I feel like Im at a daycare center. Since when do we bring our children to work? There have been times that I have had to stand at the counter and wait either because they are short-handed or that theyre in the back having conversation with one another. When they do see you standing at the counter they come probably to take your order.

It should really be 0 stars because i didnt get any service. I waited in line for 30 minutes before I pulled up to the order window and they told me they were closed. With a bunch of cars still in line. Maybe they could have cut the line off earlier. Wouldnt have been a big deal if I didnt wait that long

What can I say I love blizzards. I asked for a little extra and they gave me a lot extra it was wonderful people were nice friendly positive atmosphere and most of all clean keep up the great work

Favorite place to get pup cups for my furbabies

I love this place, the workers there are always so nice and the banana split blizzards are delicious. One time the bananas were unripe and u just couldnt eat them they left a bad taste. The manager replaced our order no questions asked, he was great! Im glad they add a DQ close by. The others were so far away, so this location is perfect!

Nice new and clean location with a drive through. Easy location to get in and out of. Indoor and outdoor seating options. The biggest downfall I have encountered is asking for a quart of soft serve. Both times I have tried I got looked at like I just spoke an unknown language. I even had to point out the Quart size cups sitting on top of the ice cream machine and explain what I wanted. The teens working at this location could use a bit more training.

It was family night our. After dinner we decided on Dairy Queen. Ordered two cones for the kids and blizzards for is. Love it when the staff flips it upside down before handing it over.

The only reason I have 2 stars is the convenient location and the fact we can stop to get ice cream cones. There is one girl working who knows what good customer service is and how to properly dispense the ice cream cones presentation. Other than that we payed for large Sundaes and received medium with hardly any toppings. Had the credit charged 3 times for the same order, they tried to charge the price of a large cone for a small one. Will not go back to this location and have warned my family and friends.

Pretty disappointed with this place. Dont order a birthday cake they will screw it up. We have ordered two cakes from here. The last one was the end. They had our phone number no one even called. Showed up to get the cake and there is nothing on it!! This was for a child who was turning 4. We asked for Hello Kitty and told no problem.. Get there and its decorated like a adult cake with flowers and nothing else!! Thanks DQ for ruining her day. Why ask for a phone number when you dont use it!!! Place is ALWAYS dirty when we come in as well. Get some adults in this place rather then high school kids. Does this place even have a manager??? Unbelievable. The fact their plastic spoons are not even wrapped in plastic is a reason to not come back here..how disgusting!!!

Been going to DQ as long as I can remember. I usually do not rate them because most locations lack service or quality and its not worth my time. I have been here more than 6 or so times and its exactly what I would expect if I owned it. Staff is always friendly and they work quick. The product is always made to DQ specs and tastes delicious. Their limited time orange dip cone has me waking up in a cold sweat craving it. This will continue to be my go-to place in Surprise for quick ice cream treats.

New Dairy Queen in Surprise off Reems Rd. This place was, and,Im sure will be very busy. I watched how organized and well this small group of probably high school students worked. They were fast, efficient and took pride in the outcome of what they were making. Great customer service, and perfect orders.

You know how they flip the cup upside to show its thickness? Well, the last few times going to this DQ, their mixers have been getting thinner and thinner. I kid you not, they flip them upside down then proceed handing you the cup... with a lid on! What!?!

Went in to this location tonight to get a shake and have an cream cone. Since when is it ok to let children run around in the kitchen area and lobby?!! The children belonged to a worker there. They were all over the place disturbing the customers! People were actually leaving because of the noise. I will not return!

We went to this new location. We ordered two medium Blizzards to go and paid. we sat down to wait for our order. As we waited we watched the drive through cashier take orders. But then watched her play with her hair pick at her broken acryilic nails, wipe sweat off her for head and then grab two red spoons by the scoop part and put them in our Blizzards. Another employee brought us the Blizzards. I asked for two new spoons but still couldnt do it. We got outside and through them away. I understand there young, but thats just gross. You have to have a good handlers card in Arizona. Theres a reason or that.

Got two Blizzards. I need to remember next time to ask for bigger chunks in my Ive cream. It felt like Heath crumbs instead. Was busy. Had to wait like 5 min just to get a lid. (Weird it didnt come with one, but maybe theyre trying to use less plastic??) No big deal :-) store was fine!

Its pretty good. Seems to be busier than most DQs, maybe because its so new. The only problem I have with it is the last two times Ive ordered a strawberry sundae, there were little bits of chocolate on the bottom. They must use the same machine to make everything in.

Staff is so friendly mostly young ladies and gentlemen in high school. They were working hard to serve all the customers in a timely manner and used wonderful customer service!

I went today and its the 3rd time the ice cream machine has been down. They said it will take a bit longer to make my cookie dough blizzard with extra cookie dough. When I finally received it, the ice cream was melted, they put it in a plastic orange Julius cup with no lid and there was hardly any cookie dough in it! The Sun City West location is so worth the extra drive.

The staff was super friendly and fun, the drinks came out fast. The crummy part is that they dont have a full menu. This location lacks 80 percent of the items you can buy at the other location on grand.

It was a very long wait in the drive through. Evidently their ice cream machine was down. I just wanted a gift card. After my long wait in line, they still werent ready for me. A couple employees were talking and had backs to me while another employee tried telling them to help me. She finally came to the window herself to get my money and went to the cash register and rang me up. One of the girls that had her back to me tried to charge me for an 14.00 order that wasnt mine. Finally I got my 5.00 gift card and left. Awful service. Thats the second time Ive been there and I only ever see teenagers, no adults. My first visit was a walk in order to go.

Every. Single. Time. Yes. Every single time that I have ordered from this place it is wrong. Ask for extra toppings and not only do you not get extra but you don’t get the toppings that you ordered. I am also sick of hearing about high school/marital drama at the window. Today was a prime example “my husband and I are taking a break from each other so I can focus on school.” Wait for it....the response from the other person “do you want me to be your summer break?” Please tell me there are adults in the building!?

Besides the standard DQ ice cream treats, they only offer food that has to be microwaved. The chili dog was gross. They need to also spend some time on cleaning the tables.
