A staple in susanville for decades. Ive always had a great experience here. Cool selection and if they dont have it. They can order it. Support your local small businesses. May be a little more than the box stores but the quality of product and service will pay off greatly in the long run.

I asked for 3/8 chain to fit Huskies and sthil and they gave me the wrong size for what I asked for

These guys are great with info, repairs, etc. Only drawback is, other than chainsaws, they wont work on anything but Honda engines. They claim parts are to hard to get for Briggs and Stratton, Kholer, etc.

In Susanville we are preached to shop local. In the case of Diamond Saw Shop, I always do. Other businesses, not so much.Their prices are competitive, their knowledge is superior of anywhere else I have ever been. Their service has always been more than I expected. I bought my first saw from them in 1989, it’s still going strong. Of course I had to upgrade based on new technology, lighter, more powerful saws.I have 2 Husky saws, 1 husky gas weed eater and one Stil limb saw, all bought from DSS over the last 30 years and they have done the minimal service needed.I don’t even ask the price anymore, I just tell em what I want and what I want to do with it, and take their suggestion.Couldn’t be happier.Wish I could say that about all of the local businesses.

Diamond Saw is absolutely my go to place for all small engine work. Steve, the owner, is the best at repairing them and giving you an honest job at an honest price. Ive been going to him for 20 plus years. I have purchased saws and a trimmer from him. He has worked on my other equipment and he has aways done a great job.

I ordered a gasket 2weeks ago was told it would be in in a week. Went back was told try again next week . So I go back in a week. Then Im told its on back order. So ok cancel order let me have my money no big deal. He asked for receipt I said I didnt get one. He told me he has no way to look it up to give my money back. Wasnt a problem to look it up and charge me. I told him to keep the ##@#$* part.I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tried and true, a bit spendy but deal can be found. If you have the time tune your own saw, if not this is your best bet.

Wont do business with them again. Order one part and get told it will take 3 days. I called on the 4th, 5th and 6th day and they still havent received it. I get a different excuse everytime. I call after 3 weeks and finally get told it is shipping from a differnt wearhouse so it will take even longer. I ask for the part number and the young employee there hung up on me. They just lost my business forever. Worst service!
