I have been to some dealerships where a salesman doesnt even acknowledge you and some where they are too eager to sell you something they dont give you time to look around. Not so at this dealer. As I arrived not one but two salesman offered their assistance. They gave me time to look and were very helpful in answering my questions. I didnt feel any pressure at all. The prices are good, the staff is friendly and attentive and I would not hesitate to buy a vehicle here. Thanks to everyone for making this a great experience.

Last week our GMC Yukon started to overheat just outside of Sweetwater. The service department was backlogged, but they did everything they could to get us on the road so we could have our car repaired in time to continue our vacation. The service supervisor gave me great advice and they wouldnt let me pay them for their time on a busy, busy day.

I have been dealing with my deceased father, Patrick Bealls, car. It broke down not to long after he passed. He left me the car and I had 2 mechanics work on it and it was a nightmare. By the time I had it towed to Stanley Ford house in Sweetwater, TX it was really messed up. Upon arrival I talked with Troy Schroedter in service and told him what all was done to the car and boy was he in for it I mean every turn he took he found something else that was not right but he stuck with me and got the car running again. The tech, Dustin Hammit, who was working on it never gave up either. Between the two of them they finally got my daddys car working again. I had told Troy when I brought my daddys car to him that I wasnt wealthy and I was concerned about how much this was gonna cost and he just kept reassuring me that everything will be fine. That lovely man only charged me for the parts and I was so blessed he is truly a gift from God I will always bring my car to Stanley as long as Troy is working there.Your Loyal Customer,LIZ

I highly recommend Stanley Ford in Sweetwater. If you need a new or used vehicle, this is the place to go. Cheyenne Hernandez helped me out so much. I had some bad luck and a not so good experience with a competitor of theirs from Abilene. I called Stanley Ford and told them what was going on and what I needed. Within 24 hours I was in a vehicle. In the past I took other Ford vehicles there to be serviced. From now on this will be my go to place for a vehicle. The people at Stanley Ford are awesome!!

Honestly I WOULD NOT recommend anyone going to this place. I bought my vehicle 18 months ago and went to go trade it in only to find that that I still can’t trade it in. Picture it in Sweetwater broke down 7 hours from home. Stopped in parking lot 30 min before they opened. Someone came out even though was before business hours and popped my hood. Had us back on the road in less than 20 min. Great business great people. Service Department Outstanding!

By far the best buying experience my husband and I have had. Tiffany was very kind and knowledgeable about the vehicle we were inquiring about. Jerry assisted my husband prior to us arriving over the phone and made the transition very smooth. Kelsi was great and very helpful during the financing of the vehicle and lastly, it was amazing to be able to talk with the general manager, John, himself. Took me back to the rv park instead of waiting in their sterile covid waiting area. Im a Floridian and I had great service at Stanley Ford 5 years ago! I was in Texas last week and wanted to buy a vehicle and I got really poor service. Jason did not follow up with any information, plus I called him 3 times and he never respond! I called John and he said that he would return my call... HE NEVER DID!! POOR SERVICE!! Went to check out a used Ford Escape a few weeks ago with my husband, when we were unhappy with the quality of the vehicle and expressed our dislike and now disinterest, the sales rep wanted us to visit with the manager before leaving. He was condescending with his ‘this is what you get when buying used’. The sales rep was great but management no bueno. Finally found a quality used car this week, take the extra time and go to Lawrence Hall-better and well earned reputation.

I reached out to Stanley Ford about an Explorer that I fell in love with. I was contacted by Travis who seemed great and all but wasnt really proactive on getting me answers. It may be because this dealer doesnt really know what they are doing. We got there and met with Kayla (who is awesome by the way! She was the best part of the whole experience) and of course had to play the car dealership game. Once we agreed on price the finance manager was not willing to do ANYTHING as far as a second key or take care of anything else ( an owners manual ). He didnt even know the price to get a second key made. Getting any answers out of him was like pulling teeth. Now, I cant get an answer on the door code, (which we were trying to get while we were there) they are wanting me to drive over 40 miles back to them to run it on their computer. It was an uncomfortable environment and was definitely not the small town feel we were expecting. I LOVE my new car but I doubt we will ever do business here again.

He was polite when he called to let us know the car was ready. When we picked it up, he covered in great detail all that was checked on our car. Although there were some miscommunications and confusion between myself and Stanley Ford, the Sweetwater general manager John Donawho went above and beyond to resolve all of my complaints and even brought to my house a vehicle from Dallas. This is an awesome dealership. When you buy a vehicle from them, they provide service that you would only expect from luxury car dealerships. John and the all the staff provide first rate service. They will deliver a vehicle to you when purchased. They also come and get your vehicle for any service needs, oil changes, etc. so you dont have to sit in a waiting room or have someone pick you up. This type of service is expected in the Metroplex at Sewell Ford and others, but not in this area. We live in Abilene and John routinely picks up and delivers vehicles for service. This is unheard of here as we cant get that kind of service in Abilene. Make the trip to Sweetwater and start getting this kind of customer service. Stanley Ford has earned our business from another area dealership because of this level of service.

I bought a new F-150 from Randell Turney at Stanley Ford in Sweetwater and the whole experience was top notch. I let him know exactly what truck I was looking for and within a day he found it for me. It was on another car lot in another city and they brought it there for me. We agreed on numbers over the phone and I was able to show up and sign papers and drive away. The whole process was easy and I wasnt pressured into buying something I didnt want like I have been by other car salesman in the past. This is a second hand perspective of my experience here because my friend just needed a ride to this dealership to buy his first car which is a 70-80 mile drive away from us. He was interested in a used car that he really wanted to the pull the trigger on. He had already setup his own financing and was negotiating with one the sales associates (Kayla) to see if they could give him a better APR/better deal if he financed through him. After submitting a credit app (Thursday), Kayla never got back with him. Better yet, she ended up not answering any of his questions he had on Friday via email. After checking online through their online chat to see if the car was still availabe (Friday night), they said it was. So he figured we might as well just drive up. As we are driving up, I asked my friend if they knew he was coming and he says no (rookie mistake, I know). So of course when we get there, the car is gone. The only reason I’m writing this is because after my friend was not able to do a deal with any of their other cars, they seemed very eager to help him. I get it, no one likes losing a sale. General Manager: I think going in, the experience could have gone a lot better if someone would have followed up with him knowing the car wasn’t even available...especially after running his credit for this specific vehicle and showing a lot of interest in buying it. I can appreciate you guys getting busy, but a simple notice letting him know that the car is off the market would have been extremely helpful. Everyone seemed very nice, but first impressions are important. I’m just upset I drove all this way expecting him to get a car and we got nothing.Not 5 stars because it was like a slap in the face when we got there, but not 0 stars because you guys were nice and eager to help.I know there are two sides to every story, but customer perspective is everything, right?Hope this review helpsBTW, we are loyal Ford fans :)

Let me just add an update to my original review. I’m having to pay for a second key. Matt Raby has been far from personable. And about 10 minutes ago while driving down the highway the seal on the windshield on the drivers side just flew off! The whole piece that connects the body to the windshield. Now I have a screws and bare metal showing on a car that I have had for less than two weeks. Stanley Ford has been a disaster.

1st visit...turbo went out on my pickup: I was over a hundred miles from home, and was towed in to Stanley Ford after hours on a Saturday. Monday morning they called, and we made a game plan. Order parts, fix everything, wash the truck (it was filthy!), etc. Went Friday to pick it up (yes, they fit me right in - no wait!). That black truck was so clean, inside and out, I almost didnt recognize it! Yay!60 miles later, still 20 mi from home...I lost all power and black smoke was everywhere. I called Jeff; he said to have it towed back to them by anyone I wanted to use, and Stanley Ford would foot the bill. Upon closer inspection by someone much more mechanically inclined than myself, we discovered the clamp had blown loose and one of the lines to the turbo had disconnected. We asked that Stanley Ford mail us a clamp rather than incurring a large tow bill for them and causing me another trip to Sweetwater to pick up the vehicle again. They one upped me. Saturday morning they sent tech out here (160 mi round trip). He completely replaced the hose and clamp, and discovered the line and clamp to the windshield washer fluid had been damaged as well. They will mail that to me this week.I know this is how a good business should handle its customers; it is just so rare these days that i felt compelled to write this review. These guys are great.

Stanley Shysters had the audacity to try to charge me a $2000 ‘reconditioning’ fee on the final paperwork of a used car after I pointed out a major mechanical problem to renegotiate a selling price. I have been there. I bought a 2014 mustang. The dealership is ok. its the service department that I, and others i know have had trouble with. Told me the squeak coming from my rear tire could possibly be a bent axle . and they would have to take it apart . running around $400 this was after a oil change and inspection of breaks fluids etc. I had no break pad on my rear driver side. Thats why it was squeaking

Amazing! Just amazing!!! Troy, chuck, Michael and Robert are all awesome amazing guys who made us feel like family! We were only looking at used because we never thought we could get anything new and THEY worked their magic and helped US get a brand new car!!!!!! Thank you guys!!! You are all so awesome! I originally gave my experience 5 stars but am now chanding it. Had to have my car in the shop literally like 3 days after buying it to have a/c fixed. Was told they knew what the problem was and that itd take a day to fix. Well it went from that to not knowing what was wrong with it just getting the run around. Got lots of excuses why it was taking so long. Long story short.....i had my car like 2 days before it went into the shop for almost 2 weeks. Was grateful for the loaner they gave me but you would think considering u barely just bought the car that there wouldve been a little more priority in getting it fixed.

I purchased a 2017 Ford Taurus limited from this Dealership over the internet, When it was Delivered it had been crashed on the passenger rear door and the car was Dirty. Prior to signing any paperwork I called and spoke with the Sales manager and informed him of the crashed door,He agreed to have it fixed, So I signed all the paperwork. A few weeks later I drove it to Sweetwater for the door repair. 10 days later the car was Delivered back to me. The car was still filthy on the outside and someone left a red solo cup and a Bloody Bandage in my Back Floorboard. After the repair the car has a lot of road noise as if maybe was not replaced in the door when it was taken apart to fix. I have never purchased a vehicle where the Dealership didnt at least wash it, clean the interior, change the oil, top off all fluids, wash the engine compartment out, and make sure the air filter and cabin filter are replaced. I do NOT recommend buying a Used car at this Dealership. Cheyenne was Friendly along with the couple that delivered the vehicle to me on both occasions.
