Very good Communication excellent job A+
Great everything! Busy shop, got everything I need and trust the owner!
Gregs the best if hes still there
What a great place. Greg and the whole staff are awesome. Finding an honest, quality & customer-service-driven shop is hard to come by. They listened to my concerns, answered ALL my questions and went above the service I expected. I will undoubtedly be taking my boat there for any future service needs. Thanks for the top notch service. One year later now... Just picked up my boat from having its serviced again and I couldnt be happier. The entire staff is top notch. I have absolutely zero complaints about this business. If you want honest work done on your boat take it here.
I just purchased a new tip Mercury propane motor. All the staff is super friendly. They also did a great job fielding my questions even after I left the shop. Ill definitely be using them for future Marine needs.
Great service, been going here for years,Greg is one of the good guys, totally honest and fair! Gets a little backed up so plan in advance. Would give 6 stars if I could.
Super friendly and helpful.
The best location with the best knowledge about Mercury outboards. Its the only place to call.
Amazing!! Great service and product!
Greg who owns and runs the shop is a quality person. He exudes integrity and character when you meet him. The team of people like Joey who works with him are equally great! He has repaired our boat several times and each time the issue has been resolved and done by the time he said it would be done. High ratings for Tacoma Marine Repair.!!
This is the best place I have ever found for parts and service.
These guys have been around for a very long time, and are excellent mechanics. Easy to talk to, excellent references.
Tacoma marine is an honest repair shop that stands behind their work. There is a reason they are so busy. I appreciate the work they do and the honesty and integrity they have. Being in the repair business myself, it is nice to find other trust worthy shops. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Tacoma Marine and Crew.
Fast, friendly, service!
Great service at Tacoma Marine Repair. Local business you can trust.Excellent to work with every time I bring my boat in. Parts I needed wereobsolete but Greg helped resolve the situation regardless.
Great prices and staff is very knowledgeable. Most things I needed they had in stock.
Greg, the owner of Tacoma Marine Repair, is one of the most helpful marine techs I have ever talked with. He also has the best selection of parts for the Mercury outboards I have owned in the area. I have had them do work on my boat(s) that I cannot do myself and they do top-notch work. The only downside to this shop is that their turn-around time is long. If you are in a hurry you might want to find somewhere else, but if you want the best and can wait for it, go here. I highly recommend!
I have been taking my boats to Tacoma Marine repair for 15 years now. I have always gotten excellent service from Greg and his crew. They will even help you with advice if your going to tackle it on your own. I have sent friends there and they thought it was a great place to do business.
For over 15 years I have had my boat serviced at Tacoma Marine Repair. I live in Seattle and drive it down for the high quality service that I can count on. Thanks Greg!
My boat was serviced and everything gone through before I put it up for sale. They were awesome
Been bringing my boat to Greg for 7 years. Great service every time! Wont go anywhere else!
Excellent customer service, excellent price on a new Mercury outboard and controls. would highly recommend.
I have been taking my boat to Tacoma Marine for 3 years, every fall for winterization and troubleshooting. They did a great job on my boat the first 2 years, and were very thorough. This past year was a whole different story, the first time I took the boat out this season, one of the spark plugs blew out and I lost compression, OK, everybody makes a mistake. I limped back into the ramp and called Tacoma marine, they apologized and said the would correct the problem. I took the boat down there and they said they fixed the plug issue. After their supposed fix, the engine still wasnt running right. I took the cover off and found that the plug was still loose, and so were the 3 other plugs! UNBELIEVABLE! Unfortunately I cant trust Tacoma marine anymore!
Great work by honest folks. Would recommend highly.
Had a new engine installed and am very pleased with the installation and service I got at Tacoma Marine Repair.
The best Marine shop in town. I have a 1989 freedom with a Mercruiser inboard outboard. Everytime I go there with a problem about my boat. Greg always helps me so I can do the work myself. if I could give them 6 stars I would
Tacoma Marine Repair was recommended to me when I complained that every time I took my boat to the Sea-ray dealer I got it from they screwed something up and overcharged me. I take my boat in at least every other year for preventative maintenance and have always felt I was treated fairly and honestly, even though they hate changing the water pump because it is a king sized pain to get to.
Its a great place great is a good guy hes helped me out quite a few times
My first choice for marine parts and service. Friendly and knowledgeable people always willing to help.
They always do a great job on my boat motors
OK... I was in my 10.5th hour of working on an Alpha 1 Gen II out-drive that was ticking me off because I didnt have the tool to remove a retaining ring (typically cost $50-$90 just for the tool). I called around, then was turned onto Greg at Tacoma Marine, asked to see if they had time in the next couple days before the 4th of July...I knew it was a long shot, they didnt really, I didnt want to push it, however Greg the owner and I came up with a plan B. Im mechanically inclined, I just needed the main locking ring loosened then tightened back up. He loosened the ring for me in less than 2 mins, sold me the new seal kit I needed ($50) and I was out the door..told me to come back when finished to tighten it back up to spec before putting it back in the boat. I removed all the guts of the upper housing, replaced the seal that was leaking, replaced several other seals...I was back in the water! Now...here is the kicker! I called other shops, they wanted $200-$400 and really were far from helpful. I was VERY appreciative of Greg to work with me (5 mins before they closed). I will FOR SURE be back and HIGHLY recommend Tacoma Marine for anyone with Marine needs. When businesses understand their clientele, they will always get more business.. Greg understands!
Best boat repair shop by far
Dropped off an outboard motor for repair estimate. They offered me $100.00 for it. I never got my motor back or my $100.00 which was a low ball offer to start with. I moved out of state so I guess they just blew me off. Jim Marriott Beaver Utah.
Great work and great people
Greg and crew are great!
For over 17 years from help to repairs to new and refit.
