Small gift shop right outside the world famous candy factory. They have good prices on their usual products like Applets, Cotlets, Almond Roca, other Rocas, and Mountain Bars. They also have very good prices on those things which (sometimes) dont pass quality assurance standards; miss wraps, ugly things, broken solids, double wrapped, etc. The staff in the gift shop are great, and Ive never had a bad experience. (Honestly, I only go about once or twice a year because its so easy to overspend.)

This is the only Brown and Haley outlet store that I know of. Located right next to the candy factory 🏭. It may be small but it is loaded with great deals. Miswrapped roca at a discount. Many factory direct products. Different items during different times of the year. A nice hidden gem of the great Northwest.

Oh My, So Exciting to have Brown & Haley Almond Roca Factory in Tacoma, Washington. Parking is limited so suggest you go before Holiday Rush. The staff is knowledgable & friendly. I bought Almond Roca crumbs for baking with 3 month shelf life. It is good in Apple Crisp. T-shirts & souveniers are available too.

So glad I could take my mom there. many selections due to holiday season. the set package is cute! you think whats so special go there n buy? they offer not only traditional almond roca but cashew, macadamia, dark, carmel,seasalt. the workers r friendly nice.there is structured free parking but also there is enough street parking, too.

We just came from this store and felt discriminated. Every white person who came in was greeted happily by the store owner and given a little tour of the store and were shown all the specials they have, except us, who were the only Asians who came in. So sad we have to experience this with my son. Never going back here, very bad experience:(

Youre lucky to have this place in this town. We buy up a pile of miswraps to repackage as gifts over the holidays, and everyone loves it. Even the crowd who cant stand Applets & Cotlets.The factory has been here forever. The sugar is baked into the wood. If you care about local products, or history, or community, check it out.

On the rare occasion we would ever get sugar candy while growing up we never passed up the opportunity to get a Mtn Bar....little did I know 50 years later the factory store would be off my on/off ramp. Cherry Mtn Bars are still amazing...but more amazing is the citrus white chocolate bits I used from Brown and Haley this year to make a whipped chocolate ganache for my pineapple birthday cake! Best place in Tacoma for empty calories!

Great old building, bargain roca!

The store is allowing ONLY 2 customers at a time. They have different kinds of packed rocas. There is a ramp to enter the building but the store is very small. There is a sign on the door asking you to sanitize your hands upon entering. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The best place to go in order to find the best they have to offer at B&H. I love the Cashew Roca, but can never find it!If you want to save money and dont mind eating their oopsies, you can buy factory seconds... They are awesome!

Free samples and Tons of yummy Candy made fresh and On Site. Whats not to Love here! Its an original of its kind and I love the faces of all the Elderly customers indulging Joyfully amongst the sweets and selves😘💖 I dont mind the costs, who knows how long unique places like this will stay a float. I hope for a lot longer.

A nice hidden little gem in Tacoma. They let you try out any chocolates they have on display. Plus they have bags of not so pretty toffee chocolates (in my opinion theyre just as great) but at a fraction of the price.

Brown & Haley Tacoma own. Incredible products and enormous variety. From Almond Roca to Mountain bars they turn out a quality product time and time again. They offer local employment and helps the community in that way. Visit their on site ministores for a taste of one of the best and original candy products on the market. This is a manufacturing plant bare in mind.

I love this little piece of lucious history. The staff was very friendly and enthusiastic. They are proud of their products and happy to point you to the best deals in the store. There are all kinds of free samples as well so you know exactly what to buy.

I have always liked their products. The outlet here at the factory has great prices. They have these peanut butter candy bars that are awesome!

Despite the fact that navigating their parking lot can be tricky, they do have an adequate amount of free parking. They always have discounted seconds, as low as 50cents for a bag of roca. They also carry mountain bars, bark, and chocolate dipped graham crackers. They carry other Brown and Haley items, such as orchard fruit squares, that they dont make on site at prices lower than most stores. They also have humungous sizes and gift sets. Bring a bag ;) It has been my experience that roca seconds are a well loved host/hostess gift for holiday parties. Worth it to make an hour or less to drop in during operating hours, try samples, pick some up, and check out the historic building.

Its a favorite and the best deals are by going in person. They always have plenty of samples out and the staff is always very friendly and passionate. Highly recommend.

An iconic part of Tacoma wrapped up in a tiny shop. This Brown and Haley location no longer does tours, but they do serve factory seconds, and have good deals on their products--especially the non-gifty ones. I definitely recommend stopping by if youre in the area.

Quick step-in before the holidays as we were leaving downtown. A fun adventure as we hadnt seen this local company before. This is just a very small retail shops that sells Almond Roca and their other treats for reduced rates.The women working in the store were anything but friendly, not much holiday cheer and actually a little rude to the customers. It didnt stop me from over buying treats tho!

To be clear, this is the factory store, literally in the factory parking lotIf you like Almond Roca and Apples and Cotlets, youll never find them cheaper. The wrapper being slightly off center doesnt change how delicious they are.Plus, if you havent checked them out lately, theres dark chocolate, mocha and other new flavors. We love it.
