I didn’t want to trust my favorite area rug to just anyone. After speaking to Lydia, I knew that the staff at Hammond Knoll were going to clean my rug properly. I was even more pleased by the friendly staff and quick turnaround. My rugs look fabulous!

They were very efficient and friendly when we took three carpets in to them. The cost was fair and matches most dry cleaners estimates. They were fast, about 10 days, and the carpets were beautiful. We are happy with the results and will take other carpets there again.

We just bought an Airstream and I fell in love with a runner that needed to be trimmed to fit the appropriate width. All the staff were extremely patient in helping me select an appropriate matching thread for serging the edges. They delivered a beautiful new runner earlier than promised and in time for our maiden voyage! Extremely happy with the finished product.

The two workers were professional and dedicated, and the primary worker gave us important explanations. The carpet now feels fresher and softer. After the carpet dried, however, there were wide streaks of gray alternating with white in the same diagonal direction as they were cleaning (like how lawns look different colors after being mowed in different directions). The streaks do not correspond with traffic areas and were not present before the cleaning; they are simply present now. I could understand spots not being removed, but I do not understand these diagonal gray lines.LATER: Hammond Knoll did reach out to me and sent another worker to re-clean the carpet at no charge to me. It now looks SPECTACULAR! Very impressive customer service. I now give them 5 stars!

My rug was picked up and cleaned, mended, and had new fringe attached. It is about 100 years old, but was treated with care. It looks lovely!

I had two older area rugs that were very much in need of deep cleaning. After researching the options in my area, I called Hammond Knoll. Marta answered all my questions, and I made an appointment to bring the rugs in. They promised a one weeks turnaround, and gave me a price that I thought was reasonable for such a professional service. They were true to their word. The rugs were ready in a week, and were like new! I am very happy with their work. All the dirt and grime was gone, and the colors were vibrant again. I was somewhat worried that the burgundy rug might fade, but it did not. I would highly recommend Hammond Knoll for your area rugs.

Hammond- Knoll bound the edges of 7’x8’ wool Berber remnant for me. They chose the best color to blend in with the remnant and it turned out beautifully. The staff was friendly and helpful and the job was done before the promised date.

I just brought them in this week to be cleaned, and we had a non-skid material put on the back of them. We couldnt be happier. They are perfect! We had just installed a brand new high quality white carpet. I was putting a drawer back into an antique dresser dresser and laid it on carpet first (BIG MISTAKE). A soot like residue came off on carpet. It looked like somebody dumbed ashes from a fireplace. Vacuumed rug, but only got some of it up. Called Hammond Knoll and glad I did. Jolly came out today and did an incredible job making the rug look better than new. I’d give 6 ⭐️’s if I could.

I was really pleased with the level of service and friendliness of the staff. They cleaned my large area rugs beautifully. I also bought a new pad from them. What a difference a high quality felt pad with a non-grip makes versus the non-slip grip pads you can buy anywhere.

We’ve been using Hammond Knoll for years now to clean and repair our area oriental rugs. They do an excellent job and provide great customer service. Several of our rugs are large and heavy and they assist with removing them from our vehicle and loading the clean into our vehicle. Have recommended Hammond Knoll to several friends.

Recently asked them to clean seven Karastan runners/rugs. Friendly, knowledgeable staff coordinated the drop-off and pick-up efficiently. All the rugs turned out very nice. During the initial visit we found they offer installation of a semi-permanent, non-slip backing to each rug. This eliminates the need for the regular rug pads and has the added advantage of lowering the overall thickness and lessening the tripping hazard. So far the rugs have stayed where they were laid even with an active pet. We had one glitch in a separate transaction which was handled quickly and satisfactorily.

Hammond Knoll is amazing. Joe was excellent and very knowledgeable about cleaning tile and gave me lots of tips. He was personable and professional and did a fantastic job. My tile walk in shower looks as good as it did when we first had it installed 16 years ago! He even got our fiberglass shower pan completely white again! Marissa who came out to give the bid for the job was equally wonderful and answered all my questions. Marta at the office was so sweet and nice and helped make sure I got my VIP discounts. The customer service with this company is top notch! Would recommend to anyone needing any cleaning done!

HK service technician did a fantastic job cleaning my master bath, full of tile, marble and glass. He was thorough in both his explanation of the steps- what, why and how- and the work accomplished. I was delighted with the outcome. I have a marble counter with 2 sinks, a shower full of tile that i use every day, and a basketweave floor with obvious wear patterns. After 6 years it needed some TLC, and now it looks brand new. He even shined up the hardware. It only took a couple of hours. No residual water or spills from the hoses. Very nicely done!!! I purchased an area rug on OfferUp that was in need of cleaning but there was no tag on it. I sent a photo of the rug with as much info as I got from the seller and inquired about cleaning. The woman I spoke with was very infomative and kind and we discussed options for cleaning. I took it in - was told how it would be cleaned and even got to go look at the machine. It was told it would be about a week but it ended up being quite a bit less than that. Will for sure use them again if the need arises.

Attention boaters: Eugene & Jacob cut and taped a new wool carpet for my 45 boat. They used my old carpet as a template. The new carpet fit perfectly at every corner. There were 32 right angles and they all fit perfect. Their skills are beyond excellent. And the new carpet looks awesome. They also picked up old carpet at my marina and delivered the new carpet.

As for the work itself, they fixed (among other things) a very hideous spot on my leather couch, which helped remove my embarrassment of ownership.I did have a hiccup, though. After they had brought my furniture back to me and I had already paid for the services, I noticed some issues upon inspection. Hammond Knoll promptly scheduled for a technician to come out. While attending to my furniture, he made sure to fully address each issue. Im now 100% content with how my furniture looks and feels and am a proud owner!

The technician was a pleasure to work with. His work was outstanding. He was very respectful in following CDCs current stringent COVID recommendations for personal safety. Windows and doors were wide open and we kept a distance of a minimum seven feet and both wore PPE on face and hands at all times.

As the Trustee of my church I was challenged with the need to clean about 5000 sq. ft. of carpet that was extremely overdue. Hammond Knoll got the job and the reaction from the congregation was all the approval I needed. They are especially good at getting tough stains out of our carpet, most recently due to adhesive from a hardwood flooring installation that was carpet-adjacent.

Be careful with these guys. They came out for a bid, and almost doubled their phone estimate. There were no hidden problems that were found on site either, all the information remained consistent throughout, and they were given very accurate information. Best of luck if you end up using them.

The crew did a decent job. However there were areas that could have been better. I believe they used too much water Took more then 10 hours to become completely dry. The excessive water made certain areas worse. I talked to the technician about said areas . And was told it would looked better when dried. It did not. I called and spoke with their resolution manager and was basically informed I was no longer a valued customer. This conversation was an extention from a previous conversation about pricing. I was at fault because I signed off on it. No problem. She also mentioned the staff being uncomfortable in my house. I thought, I allowed a the crew member to test my massage chair. ?? Oh! But I remember my son accidentally leaving the bathroom door opened, briefly exposing himself. That bothered me as well. Lorie explained the crew did a good job. I never said they did not. But a couple areas needed more attention. I told Lorie I would Yelp this conversation. She replied Yelp away. So rude and unprofessional. I realize people are tense right now with all madness going on. I dont believe the customer is always right. But every customer deserves to be heard without malice and a negative filter. This company is highly reccomended and probably deserves most of those high marks. But not this time. Customer service means everything for positive word of mouth and future growth potential for such a competitive market. Thank you! choose carefully with due diligence. P.S. Travis arrived around 10 a.m. to spot clean carpet areas (pet stains that had been professionally cleaned in the past) and they are gone!
