Well this is the worst experience I have had. I dont like giving bad reviews. But drive through girl was very impatient with the order. Couldnt even finish say a donut we wanted with out being cut off asking if there anything else. Customer service needs to be better here. Also dont lock down your lobby for no reason in the middle of the day. Do better Krispy Kreme. But to end on a positive note donuts were fresh.
Showed up around 9 with my 4 year old. We saw the Halloween doughnuts online and were excited to try some fun ones. They had 0 of the 6 or so available. I asked the guy working how long until they were made and he told me hours and rolled his eyes like it was an inconvenience. Instead of getting a dozen and taking some with, we split two between us and didnt waste any more money.
Freaking hurricane winds, and rain, and it seemed as though EVERYONE in Tacoma was out on the roads. There was a 25 minute line, and they were out of lots of items, and were only able to serve like 2 customers at a time. Kids were polite, and got my order, but didnt charge me. I dont know if it was a mistake, but looking inside, it looked like chaos. I waited a minute to see if the girl at the window was going to charge me, I asked if I was done, she said yes. So I drove off with about $30 worth of stuff for free. Nice for me, but if its a mistake, itll cost them
Really amazingly efficient and very tasty. Their donuts just melt in your mouth!
I have had terrible service experiences here. The donuts are delicious, but nothing is worth the rude service and exceptionally long wait times. I have to pick up donuts every other week for a work event and my manager orders them ahead of time, but nothing it ready on time and the staff is very rude when they tell me to wait. I try to tell my manager not to order from them but she doesnt listen. It is definitely not worth it. I dont post reviews often at all, especially bad ones. But this has been such a bad experience I have to.
Hours keep changing. Drove by and was welcomed by a sign saying they dont open until 12.... What doughnut place doesnt open until 12? A few months ago they had signs saying they didnt open until 8am and Google said they opened at 6am. Please update your hours on Google and keep more consistent hours.
Is worth the wait, delicious donuts to other sweet treat to choose.
We all know about the doughnuts..... but it was the worst 1/2 a cup of 5.00$ coffee I think Ive ever had, even after tipping the young lady at the drive-thru window. Oh yeah, they were out of most of the good ones by 10 am on a Saturday!
My family LOVES krispy Kreme! We come her every now and again and it was a long line but it went through fairly quickly and our donuts were clearly fresh and warm! Just how we like it! Lovely service too!
Whenever we visit Washington we make at least one visit to Krispy Kreme as we are not privileged with a location on the island we live on. Unfortunately, due to COVID this location appeared to still have its dining room closed so we elected to order via the drive-thru. To save time we used the Krispy Kreme website to choose our selection. We ordered (2) two Glazed with Kreme Filling donuts among other items and was never informed by the female order taker that that flavor was unavailable at this location. We proceeded to the window to receive our donuts. We opened the box to verify our order (see attached) and noticed that all of the items was correct except the two mentioned above. We enquired with the gentleman at the window as to the error. First he intimated that they were the same item and that there was Kreme filling within the donut (Our purpose for ordering what we did!). Then he said that this location did not serve the Glazed with Kreme Filling and that each franchise could pick and choose what to serve. As we drove away my wife broke apart one of the supposedly same item and discovered that there was no Kreme filling! This location needs to train their staff better! I do not appreciate being lied to! We will not give this location a second chance as there are others to choose from in the future!
I placed an order hours in advance from when I was needing to pick it up. Get to the store at the time I scheduled to be told that my order was never pulled and they were out of pretty much everything. Pretty disappointing that you place a prepaid order online and schedule a time to pick it up and they dont pull the order until you get there and there is no guarantee you will get the order you paid for. If an order is placed online the order should be pulled once placed so you dont sell another customers order before they even get there!
Payed for online order, waited 30 minutes. For donuts that are marginally better than Safeway. Staff is always slow walking around and dragging their feet. Not very nice when talking too. Probably won’t ever come here again.
I love Krispy Kreme. No matter what state I go too, I have to stop at a Krispy Kreme. They live up to their name. This place was great. The store was clean, and the employees were nice.
Love this donut shop. If you time it right you can get the original donut warm.
This location is consistently fast and friendly. I went in this morning with a request for 24 individually wrapped donuts for a school birthday party. The manager, Siam, jumped on the order and was efficient and pleasant. Of course, the donuts are always good.
Took awhile to get thru the line, but this *was* Easter morning, so its understandable!Only issues are the number of not available menu items, and even for the ones that are available, many flavors were sold out - there were only about 5 or six flavors of non-glazed.HOWEVER, they were priced right: buy a dozen, get the 2nd for $1.
Good donuts on the receipt if you take the survey you get a free dozen with a purchase of a dozen. Make sure you can read the receipt.
I finally went to Tacoma MallWow alot of changes going on. I never got my inoculation doughnut when it was first announced. So I walked over and got it. Nice people. No questions asked. Only issue I had was I had to enter from what is called the front door which is facing Tacoma Mall Blvd. which is all around the bldg.
Unfortunately I believe that I received old items around 1:30pm today.. Buyers be aware of the time to go there
Waited in line for easily 10 minutes with no progress. Didn’t see a single transaction take place during that time. Disorganized and inefficient.
No original glazed! But of course, all of their donuts are delicious; I still prefer the OG...
In and out in a hurry and (as usual) great pastries.
Its Krispy Kreme! What more needs to be said? Okay, heres the short and sweet of it. Walked in to the usual tantalizing aroma that gets your mouth a watering. The gal who took our order was a bit rushy... she saw that we literally just walked up and still asked if we knew what we wanted. We asked for a couple minutes. She seemed a bit rushed and preoccupied with her duties. The gal who rang us up was super nice and positive. Wished us an amazing day! Donuts are as delish as ever!!
Its Krispy Kreme. If you havent had one, go get one. If you have, you already know what Im talking about!
Drove up from Lacey to get a dozen of the regular glazed but they were out, when we got there both employees looked miserable and getting impatient with a customer in front of them. When I asked if they were making more, he looked at me stupid and said “this is all we have for the day”. Mind you I came in at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday, there is no reason why you should be out of regular doughnuts at a doughnut shop. The employees did not offer anything else just looked past me to any other customer when I asked why they were not making anymore regular glazed or anymore doughnuts period. They close at 10pm and are almost out of most doughnuts at 3:30 and not making more????? Not okay with me!
Because they dont have any of the yummy good specialty donuts like the new York cheesecake and some other tasty ones that are down in the KK in Claremont CA. Chain.
They were nice and let me use the restroom and because they did, I bought my grandson a doughnut and he loved it.
Kreme filled original glazed? There is nothing else to order...because they are perfection...although the Oreo ones were pretty good recently! Thank you for offering donuts for vaccination cards! What an amazing stance to take, despite the criticisms. They are just jealous of the kreme filling!
Great experience, went on National Doughnut day, long line but it went fairly quickly due to the hard work of the employees. My coffee was delicious, caramel mocha, and both my free doughnuts. Strawberry glazed and Sprinkles for the holiday and Original glazed for vaccinated.Go try and all of the new Summer flavors.
Why am I so sad, and why do donuts help, even the small amount they dowhatever, a regular glazed here is top notch
I placed an online order since my girlfriend was going to be in the area. Not going to lie, these are most definitely a treat, not something I ever really get, so when they said they were out of what I had ordered (when my girlfriend was picking up my order), I was super bummed. I had wanted two specific flavors, but they were out of both. They compensated me with what they must have felt was fair, but what I feel was above and beyond. They were able to get the flavors I wanted, albeit in a different way. Their service was great, and Ill definitely be back!
Fresh and tasty doughnutsGreat fast and friendly customer service
Very gentle people served 100% recommended to the public
Great donuts. I cant buy inside and I miss seeing my donuts before I buy.
Donuts are good staff feels anti social and a tad scattered always seem to be out of something every time im their
Whats the healthiest part of a doughnut? The middle! Haha!Well, you know when you are indulging on a donut, you know its going to be oh so sweet and fulfilling experience! I mean thats usually the case for me. I love having donuts sometimes and usually its always when I cross this Krispy Kreme drive thru. So my interaction is pretty limited to that interaction and its always been pleasant and on point. The servers have been wonderfully nice and cordial. My standard order anywhere is a original glazed donut and its lick-smacking good! I cant wait till I visit again to pick up a donut!
The best donuts ever. I worked here and they never got old. You can ask when the fresh batches are made if you want them warm. I think it was 7am and 3pm though.
They have the best donuts! little too much sugar but fluffy moist donuts dtive you crazy. Its fun to watch the process, too. they always have seasonal donuts. It is funt to go with kids. there r a few booth tables n bar tables along the front windows.Parking: structured n there is drive through option.
Possibly the worst Krispy Kreme location. They’re always sold out really early in the day. Tried placing an online order a couple hours in advance. Apparently the employees can’t keep track of their stock. I got there and the box was only half filled. After bringing it up to an employee they said they “recently” (I ordered a couple hours in advance) sold out of that donut. They just gave me a different type of donut instead. Every time I try to get donuts they’re sold out of nearly everything. It’s more beneficial to drive another hour to go to a different location. At least they actually have stock.
Love these! No substitute!
Good doughnuts, but usually do not have what you want. Drop by today and no Chocolat covered ones.....
Online order or phone order only. Drive thru pick up only. The line was about 15 cars deep.Lobby closed. I cant wait to be able to enter lobby again and see all the fresh donuts. Drive thru is really slow.
Doughnuts are always fresh. Building seems to be clean. Just wish there was more than just one single location in this state. Quite the drive away from us, but well worth it if your in the area to stop by and grab a doughnut, dozen, or two. They do offer military discounts. Prices seem to be a bit high but that’s typical being in the Pacific Northwest. Great overall place to grab fresh doughnuts even at late hours.
Fast service even during the busy lunch hour. Only downside was restroom was closed to public. (Pregnant ladies have keen eyes for such things)
The store was clean and was set up to support social distancing requirements. The staff person was helpful, polite, and courteous. The doughnuts were yummy 😋!
Lobby is closed but there is no sign until you walk all the way up to the door. I unloaded the kids to pick out a donut (to-go) and once we made it to the door we saw the only sign. Its also impossible to drive by the front door so there was no way for me to see the sign without walking up. Unfortunately, I wasted a lot of time. Went through the drive through and they didnt have blended drinks and the only had ring shaped donuts. It was 11:30am.
The cashier was rude when we asked him if they were serving drive-thru only. We waited forever to get our items and only got 6 out of 7 donuts we ordered just so they could fit in a half-dozen box. And, apparently, the Tacoma location doesnt serve doughnut holes which is utterly bizarre.
This place is easy to see from the freeway and easy to access from the street although mall traffic can be busy. Place is big inside with amole seating a it has a restroom. You can watch them make the donuts which there are a wide variety to choose from. You can get coffee, milk or juice and it has a drive-through. The employees are very friendly and service oriented.
Been here maybe 4 times since this location has opened as I live over an hour away. Twice some equipment was not working and another time they were out off dough mix because it was a buy one get one free. Thats my experience.
Fast service, currently only drive through, pick up, or delivery
Google says Drive Thru opens at 0600, so stopped on my way home from SeaTac, much to my surprise, theres a line and they didnt start serving customers until 0800. Having a toddler whos been up with me since 0415 and she was asleep in the car... to having to sit in a drive thru that wasnt evidently open, I wouldve just stuck with Starbucks.
Yum! They’re always no nice and speedy in the drive through. Donuts are always amazing
Came for a dozen donuts and there was a line around the corner. Very popular spot and when I took my order inside I was helped by very friendly staff who helped me choose the best donuts and struck up a friendly conversation. Everything was spotless and the social distancing was enforced and I couldnt be happier with my experience! Next time Im in Tacoma I will be back again.
Doughnuts are regular sized again!
We are from the east coast. Moving here we thought we would never see another Krispy Kreme doughnut again and thennnnnn. never been inside due to Corona but the drive thru suits us just fine. Even when it’s 15+ cars deep. Always 15 cars deep but the line moves very fast. We always happen to catch them with the lights on. Gotta love a fresh doughnut. Extra for the ride home. We love Krispy Kreme.
Donut heaven. If you know you know!
Today was National Coffee Day. I went in for my free coffee and donut. There was a full line of cars in the drive thru, so I decided to go inside. The staff was quick and attentive to the customers in line. Keeping social distance, and the donuts stocked. Nikki was so awesome! She helped answer all my questions, and helped me choose the right donut. Of course, I needed to try the newest Pumpkin swirl. The staff today looked like they were swamped with orders, but they were great taking care of each of us. I appreciate the upbeat attitude of the staff, the delicious coffee and selection of fresh donuts. Even on a busy day, they make sure you are one happy customer. Well done to the staff on one of the busiest days. I look forward to making my next donut order soon.
Great fresh doughnuts.
Business meeting at Tacoma Krispy Kreme went sour when I locked my keys in the car. But sour turned sweet again when the manager called AAA lockout for us. This location is always clean and the personnel ALWAYS personable. But the extraordinary generosity displayed by the manager on duty, Jaycee Herandy, is worthy of the utmost appreciation here. We truly appreciate you going the extra mile for us. Thanks Jaycee!
Kids catatonic with excitement as they can order Mars donuts to celebrate the Perseverance landing. But what Krispy Kreme does not tell you is that Tacoma is not participating. 8 sad kids.
Doughnuts are decent, but they never have any but the most basic ones. Doesnt matter when you go, you will always be waiting in line for a while and half the doughnuts are never available.
The donut variety of this place is amazing. Donuts taste great and are reasonably priced. Great place to satisfy a craving for pastries.
I used to love going to Krispy Kreme. But now every time I go there theyre sold out of everything! Its a huge waste of time! And definitely not worth it for everyones last choice donuts that MAY be left when you get there!
Always out of everything. We have gone several weeks in a row trying to get our daughter a Reese doughnut but they are always out of most doughnuts by 11am.
Does not open until noon.Donuts are for breakfast
The best donuts hands down
Always has good donuts
Food is expensive, service is slow, and that’s being generous. Won’t be coming here again.
Slow staff, they grabbed my online order wrong twice. Waited forever for my food. I’ll be getting my doughnuts from elsewhere.
Served quickly, but the coffee was cold.
Im not sure if its just this location but there is never any raspberry doughnuts. Its still on the menu though
Had to use the drive through but it was worth it
I was there to pick the dozen donuts as a Birthday treat. The place was nice, clean, organized, and all the people were following COVID-19 guidelines. The staff was really nice and treated me in appropriate way.She greeted me and had a smile which was really appealing.I ended up buying another dozen because of the great service and good staff.
Constantly running out of donuts! It is super frustrating to wait in their incredibly long line, only to find out they are out of the majority of their donuts, again. I was there at 1:38 today (a Saturday afternoon) and they were out of original glazed, chocolate glazed, and anything with sprinkles. And this isn’t the first time. It has happened multiple times and these aren’t even specialty donuts. They need to do a better job at managing their inventory.
Great amazing & friendly service donuts were perfect
Had a hard time reading the menu and it was too loud to hear anything
Unbelievable that everything on the menu seems to be marked unavailable. I dont understand why a business who actually wants to be in business has none of their products for sale. Even most of the things that were not marked unavailable on the menu were not available. Original glazed donuts were the only thing availableThat is a recipe for failure. I hope to see this closed next time I drive by
I was a little sad when i went on the 12th only to be told they were out of donuts! A donut shop out of donuts, bizarre! But other than time this is one of my favorite snack shops. The donuts are amazing.
Don’t expect a warm friendly greeting when they are giving free donuts. I’m assuming the person taking the orders was getting tired of all the free donut orders because from the welcome to answering if they had the strawberry donut(because I always like to order at least one thing if they are giving something for free) was all answered with annoyance. I don’t come very often but her attitude makes me not want to make the drive there even for any specials they have. The line was a long enough wait (20mins drive thru) and for me to be greeted with annoyance makes it not worth it. Also my husband happened to go through the drive thru earlier that day and he said the exact same thing. Maybe she was having a bad day or they were short staffed? I don’t know, but I think they should always have someone on the front line who are ready to greet welcomingly.
Nice, but no seating due to covid-19.
I dont get the appeal. Donuts do not need to be treated like fast-food. Theyre not even good donuts, and the staff all hate their jobs. Go to Safeway.
Very busy, but fast
I love Kristie Kreme, but it’s way out of our way. We stopped by once in 6 months or so. Well the only time we come. There’s a long line that we wait in. Only to find out their machine for original daze is broken. There was no sign to tell us. We waited 30 minutes just to hear that news. Wow! Common this 21st century you got to do better than that. Still get a 3 star just cause we still like Krispy Kreme.
There must be crack cocaine in the donuts here because I am pretty much addicted to this place. Each time I drive by, the autopilot in my 2008 Prius keeps driving me into the drive thru line, and I pretty much have to order donuts because if you have ever been there, you might as well get something for waiting in that packed drive thru line. Also, they do offer Military Active Duty and Veteran discounts!
It been 2nd time im stop by and the sign said open daily to 10pm and the drive through sign open until 10pm but just 8:40 pm they already close . i dont mind that they close early but please take a sign off if close early.
Unable to walk in and order, only mobile ordering or drive through!
Krispy Kreme never disappoints.
