Came in for free comic day and left with a stack of comics for my classroom. They have an amazing collection for every age and interest. I was excited to see the Rosa Parks comic from The Who series. It is so cool to see these novels brought to life with illustrations. The owners are looking into bringing these in when they come out in October. Had a great conversation about how graphic novels and their influence on students. I love how Stargazer supports teachers and education!!

This is one of my favorite comic book shops. Theyve got a great selection of the big publishers the smaller publishers, anime and toys. The staff is also very helpful and can help you track down whatever youre looking for.

Its a good place to pick up newer comic series and variants. I felt putting a $75 price on White #1 the day it was released was predatory but comics have become a cutthroat business....they just dont cut as deep as other LCS.

Owner and staff are awesome. Ive been to all the comic shops in Tacoma and Stargazer is the best. The owner appreciates his customers and it shows in his A+ customer service. He is fair on his prices and doesnt gouge his customers by inflating cover prices for certain comics on release day like some others do. I highly recommend this shop above all else and he appreciates military customers too. This shop also allows you to have pulls above 5. I have about 40 or so. Lol.

Damien(hope Im spelling it right) remembered my name from the first time I walked in. He has also given me leads for pressing books here locally. He answers all my questions(even the dumb newbie ones) and treats my wife with respect. He recommended cult of dracula to my wife cuz she likes vampires and it is her new favorite now. Great prices always gives deals and my wife found a 40 dollars Batgirl in their dollar bin.Great shop!

I love this place!!! The owner(s) are amazing and super friendly. I have a hard time leaving, they have great selection of books other neat stuff. They are helpful and supportive when it comes to helping my kids (8 & 11) find comics theyll enjoy. As a parent getting my kids excited about reading is tough, these guys are really great and make it easy. My love affair with comic books has been rekindled by this place. I really cant say enough good things about Stargazer, great people running a great business. Do yourself a favor and check them out, you wont be disappointed.

I am just starting to collect comic books so I decided to go out to nearby comic shops to see what one I like the best. This one was my favorite by far. I was instantly greeted and felt welcomed once I entered the store. I received a lot of helpful information from the guy working behind the counter and the store was well organized and clean. I cant wait to go back.

Excellent shop, bigger on the inside than the outside. Current comics, dollar comics, figures, video games, other collectibles, and more can all be found within. They even had some action figures already out of the box so you wouldnt feel bad about playing with them. All in all this was a fun little store I look forward to coming back to.

Went to Gabis in Lacey for years even though I have lived in Tacoma for awhile now. Tried a few other stores but kept having issues with them. This place just opened but i already love it. Much smaller then Gabis but the people here are friendly and helpful and really seem to be trying to encourage the geek community which is everything I want from a comic store.

Not a huge Comic person just putting that out there. But this store is awesome, the staff is great with a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm for comics and they have tons of product between games, action figures and all that. Great store that fits in well in Tacoma.

I absolutely love coming here. The shop itself is a very welcoming atmosphere and the amount of comics blows my mind. The staff is super friendly and always around to help me choose something new based on things Ive gotten before. They have a nice selection of manga, childrens comics, and even toys. Funko Pops are my favorite and they have so many! I think the location picked for the shop is perfect, its within walking distance of my house and the donut place. Super awesome.

Love this place and the staff.

A new shop started by two of the nicest guys I have ever met. This area of Tacoma hasnt had a comic shop, so this store was greatly needed. But in a way its more than a store, its a community hub. There are arcade games, free comics, a reading rack (filled with everything from classic Philosophy to Frank Miller), board games and table top rpgs to play, and even a couch and tv hooked up to a SNES, NES, and Sega Genesis. In the brief time this place has been open they have become a staple of the area. I highly recommend giving them your business. Good vibes. Good people. Good selection.
