Vats Corner Market is THE BEST CORNER STORE!! They have Good Wine, some youd actually bring to a nice dinner party or on a date. Added bonus: theres no charge to use your credit card like everywhere else. And THIS STORE IS SUPER CLEAN !! Well lit inside and clean parking lot.

Poor old man has had store broken into so many times... but he is a great corner store. If you request something or ask for something he doesnt carry, guaranteed- next time you go in, itll be there.

Huge selection, friendly staff, great mom and pop store. Prices lower than 711 acroas the street and has more variety too! Never going anywhere else on east side when it comes to mini marts.

Every time I buy something from the store its either expired or taste like Pine-Sol, or worse its both. I actually shop here often because its the closest store to my house and I really hate going to 7-Eleven but ive bought a $5 box of butter that i used to make breakfast for my family and ended up having to throw away $80 worth of food because everything tasted like expired moldy butter and whatever cleaner product they use that leaches into the product 😫 not to mention the chocolate cakes that are in unsealed styrofoam boxes that the clear must get sprayed directly onto the cake!!!! i even bought a good amount of candy once and over half of the chocolates were expired and oxidized.

The owner is a horribly rude person and has absolutely no experience with customer service! I visit quite often and am always greeted by the friendly cashiers except for him. He is always rude! All I wanted was to exchange some batteries that I purchased the day before. Next thing I knew he was telling me to get out! all because he wanted me to exchange them later that day or tomorrow! When I politely disagreed he kicked me out! Im not a thief or disrespectful in any way yet there I was being treated like a degenerate. I will no longer spend my hard earned money at such a place.

This store is the most convenient store on McKinley they have everything from household items to grocery to pretty much anything you need the best part is they get new products weekly. The previous staffs is awesome they always lets you Kno of the newest up to date products very helpful and always welcome you with a smile.#Team.Vats

I respect the store the owner n everything in it but owner dont respect me as if I have no respect for the store or his employees I love the employees theyre great fr FR I just dont see wat his problem is wit me I follow his rules n clean up after myself idk y I feel I respect something that dont respect me and we all know how that feels Ive been going their ever since he built his store n my neighborhood still respect him but dont think Im supposed to respect somebody 💯% that doesnt have any respect for me

The lady in the store was so friendly to my friend and I. She made us feel extremely welcome and showed us the door promptly when we didnt buy anything.

Employee was rude and nasty. I parked outside and walked across the parking lot. There was no sign saying not to park there either otherwise I would have respected that. Instead of politely telling us that parking was for customers only, he was very unprofessional. He started yelling that he has to protect what was his and needed all the parking stalls. This was at 8pm and the parking lot was empty...Hard to believe he needed all 10 stalls for customers. I get that it was his property, but the way he treated me was degrading and embarrassing. I will never buy from this store ever.

Owner, she is sometimes rude. This time the credit card didnt work, she didnt want to try it again. Waited for BF to bring another card, she was rude the whole time. Husband was a little better, but not much. I have learned that residents here, some will not go to this store due to the rudeness and a sense that they are conceited and look down on others. I will sadly be joining the majority and not return to this store, at least for a while.

The sales girls are very resceptful and helpful when Im looking for something the prices are very fare the store is clean and smells good all the time

For my micro beer selection, while not large compared to a specialty shop. This place is it for me on the eastside. If you talk to the owners they may try and get a beer that you are looking for into the store. Beer prices are cheap and when it comes to food it offers more then the 711

Went in and bought some drinks there last night, both were expired. Went back to return this morning and the owner Subhash had the audacity to have the worst attitude when we pulled half his shelf of expired drinks. Then basically told us to get out of the store.Obviously customer service isnt his strong suit.
