I have been associated with Bolle and Tammaro for about 10 years. Mr. Tammaro his old school. His work is some of the best I’ve ever seen, his competence is beyond measure. That being said, he is not a warm and fuzzy kind of guy. He is direct in his opinions, like it or not. If you are a snowflake that gets your feelings hurt by direct words meant in your best interests, He is not the guy for you. If you want a reliable, solid, Well above par gunsmith, seek him out.

Ive gone to Bolle & Tammaro for a number of services and have been happy each time.I brought in a locked up Model 60, had a trigger job and a 460 Rowland conversion done on a G21 and got some very useful advice about my Extar 556.They are very busy, which means customers like the job they do. I doubt hes in the running for Mr. Congeniality, but hes a heckuva good gunsmith and once you get to know him, a great guy.Ill always go back.

Dude had my Mossberg 500 for MONTHS and couldnt figure out how to fix it. Never even got a call. I had to call in 2 and a half months later just for him to tell me that he was waiting for me to pick it up.

Let me start by saying that I have not had any work done on any of my firearms at this establishment. I am only sharing a negative experience I had over the phone which convinced me this was not a business I would be patronizing.I recently picked up a winchester model 1897. I tend to do my own gunsmithing as I have been in the military for 7 years and make my living with firearms. I have also been collecting guns since I was 17 and have a fairly large collection of guns. Many of the older pieces I have refurbished myself. I have been looking for a winchester 97 for a very long time and as such decided that I would let a professional handle the work for me. I called the shop and was greeted with bolle and tamaro go ahead I proceeded to ask whether I could possibly have some work done on an old firearm I had recently picked up. With a extremely condescending tone the man on the line asked ok, well what kind of gun is it and what do you want done? I proceeded to provide this information and was interrupted with just STOP. I get you are excited that you have a new gun but... At this point I hung up due to the rude tone and being interrupted when just providing the information I was asked for. I am a grown man with more experience in the use and repair of firearms than the majority of people on this planet and I will not be talked to like a child or interrupted unnecessarily. I am now looking for a different establishment to spend my money at. I am sure they provide quality gunsmithing at this business but customer service is important to me and the phone call made my decision easy.
