Don’t get me wrong, the mangonadas are good, but they take too long. 20 minutes for 3 mangonadas and it needed more chamoy. The place is disgusting but I’m still going to come back just because of the mangonadas. Nothing else is making me come back.

The tamels are great, always have my childhood fav. Candies and drinks. The people behind the counter are very helpful and kind. I love this place!

Five stars for being a butcher, a bakery, a grocery, juice bar and a tamale buffet as well.The jugo verde was slightly sweet and all good. Made a Popeye with all them greens including nopal! Keep your wheat grass, man, I’m living for cactus!The chicken tamales, one green con salsa verde and the other roja, were big as my mama’s and almost as good (had to say that or get whooped!). Perfect masa, tight and full. Two with that jugo and I was a happy half-Mexican.Went back today and got the puerco and raja con queso with a roasted salsa. Sorry, moms, but they got you on this one. I’ll take that chancla.Go eat, go drink, jugo or Michelada.

Always polite. Fresh warm flour tortillas. Brings me a Nana feeling. Homemade salsa, Verde is my favorite. Gotta try them both. Red is a ranchero style. Yum. My auntie loves the Mexican bread. I usually travel with her to El Jalapeno. As my Spanish is very weak, they still provide me with understanding and politeness. Thank you El Jalapeno.

I used to deliver meat here so I know what it looks like on the back of the store. Its pretty clean so now Im a customer. Theyve got some really good fajita chicken mix thats cheaper than Fred Meyer, and its just as good. Theres always a supply of fresh tamales and a huge selection of Jarritos. The staff is helpful if you can find something right away.

Well today their was a huge line, not much help,but this is my 1st experience like this in 12 years, that is why I stood their n waited, in line. Because customers service their Has always been a pleasant and great experience for me to the next time you wanna leave A-line remember the great customer service and things happen in life where people cause in and theyre shorthanded I had a wonderful young lady take care of me to they conducted herself very well and very professional so that everyone else in line

Are you looking for that hard to find special ingredient to make your perfect Mexican dish? El Jalapeno has it and more!! Lots of dried chilies, fresh produce, and the wall of spices! They also make and sell fresh tamales and Chicharrónes! (pork rinds) Careful though, after eating their fresh Chicharrónes, you will never be able to eat grocery store pork rinds again!

I went to go get mexican bread and had flies I dont know how they got in the glass and I told the lady all she did was like whispering and talking bad about me bad about me like if I dont understand what they were saying in English I am not going back to the Mexican store

First, its a bus. Theyre food is pretty good, and the prices are fair. They take cards, but they will charge extra for certain condiments like sour cream.

We needed to send money to Mexico & we were able to get it all cent out with no problem & in a timely manner.

We go for fresh tortillas and tamales from the restaurant next door on Saturday mornings. The tamales are wonderful and most are $1.49 each or a dozen for $14. Friendly, helpful staff, and lots of good carnéceria faire.

Dont shop here they are extremely racist if you arent latin or hispanic. They are rude and treat you like you have leprosy. Take your business elsewhere unless you want stuff with roaches and rats as well.
