Pretty awesome you can completely fill your cart to pay x amount by the pound. How their systems works for the rotation seems weird, but to each their own. Ive gotten a bunch of good stuff both times Ive gone.

This is a little different from ordinary goodwill. Everything is in bins. You search through the bins. When youre ready to pay. Everything is weighed & you pay per pound. Its actually a lot cheaper than paying for individual items at other goodwill that have clothes hanging. My personal experience I would say its worth it.

Good place to surprise myself. A little bit tricky to follow Google navigator... I did drove around possibly 6 times and was not able to reach to the store by closing but next day was a pleasant hunting. Go early as you can😊.

This outlet is quite small compared to the one in Salem, OR, but it was fine. Its best to look through the bins when they first come out. The rest are pretty picked through already. Friendly cashier. Store could be cleaner.

Just what I like. Make sure to bring latex gloves. Items in bins are sometimes nasty. But lots of good finds.

It seems like they got a whole new staff since the last time I went in. I honestly didnt think I would notice something like that affecting the experience itself but I did. It seemed very rude almost look down at vibe. My girlfriend was going out to get her ID from the car that she had forgot when we are going to purchase items and was stopped bye a lady that was working there and told do not come back again as if she was stealing. My girlfriend and I took offense to that because we do not steal but the worker thought that because girlfriend went to the car once before to check on her dog to make sure she wasnt getting too hot that she must had been stealing. Maybe Im wrong but I thought you used to have to have evidence of somebody doing wrong before you accuse them and tell them not to come back in front of everyone. That kind of treatment is embarrassing and really gives me anxiety everywhere I go to shop.

Being gloves!!!! Its a fun little madhouse of lined up bins full of everything you can imagine all thrown into one! Lots of fun to dive into but remember: these items are used and have traveled so bring your gloves and mask and have a good time!

Managers love to yell at people that are just entering the store. After requesting for months some place to use a bathroom close by...still nothing. Closest public bathroom is a 5 to 10 minute drive.

Pretty much like dumpster diving, but there are deals to be had. Not full of overly aggressive people like the outlet in Kent, and you can actually find a shopping cart. Staff is polite. Price is by the pound and to make it really worth it hit 50 pounds to get the lowest cost tier of 92 cents.

I love this goodwill. There’s always the crazy diggers but I just mind my own.

You cant beat the good deals but there was a lady slumped out with a needle in the parking lot lying on the pavement. Olympia is larger and a 4.5 star outlet for the bigger size and variety but if in the area, Tacoma is worth checking out.

I always love coming here it can be overwhelming sonetimes there are just so many bins full of stuff to see! Lol I literally spent almost 5 hours there this morning with a friend. We didnt even look though all the bins but left with three carts full between us and only spent a total of 160 so not bad

Wish the bins were separated by clothing type (jeans in a bin, jackets in a bin, electronics in another, kids stuff, household stuff, etc etc etc) I know everything would get mixed up, but it would still be nice if they started out seperated.

Good selection, found some nice treasures there. Clean, kept up. The parking lot is free usually of trash or donations. Spend some time there and see what you can find.

Very aggressive shoppers, but the staff are super helpful and nice! Brought out a new row of bins every hour or so, and the price per pound was AWESOME!

Its alright for what it is. Its just not for me. Plus getting an Uber from there is problematic, especially with a sizeable haul.

Unbelievable prices!! I got what looked to me like a brand new pair of Adidas pants that a $70 online I got for a dollar. If you have just $20 to spend youll go home with a whole new wardrobe plus extra other things

I used to love coming here. The staff was super friendly, clothes came out quickly, there was music playing and people were generally happy. Now the store seems to be short staffed, clothes are very slow to come out, they dont play any music and the general mood seems to be going down hill. It is also freezing! Ive regularly looked at the thermostat and it reads 60! I hope it starts to go back to the way it used to be :/

This place is a trip!First off, you’re automatically greeted by an associate and thrown into a good time. You literally have to dive into these bins but that’s the whole point of the experience! You’ll find anything from clothes to household items of which are in great condition. This is not a normal goodwill for those whom assume so, so don’t expect to find anything if you aren’t willing to have fun! Hands down the best place to thrift!

Lots of bins to sort through. This location no longer sells furniture or records and other media as they did in years past. Much cleaner as a result. Its fun to dig in the bins to find something you can use. Bring gloves if you plan to do some serious sorting and digging in the bins.

I love going to this place but then again Im a treasure hunter so its not for everybody.Love the format of all the bins that keep getting replaced and the workers here do a great job at keeping things going and being safe.I havent really had any problems on the multitude of times Ive been here as far as parking, rude people, or gross things in the bins... Im sure my time will come eventually.1 * off for the pricing which could arguably be lower than it is. I know its the last stop before stuff gets recycled or exported, and it sure would be nice to be able to help keep even more stuff out of the landfill but I do have my budget! My biggest request is for more discount days, where we could get 25% off our whole purchase. Why not a couple days where we even get 50% off? That would be really fun.Keep up the good work!

I love shopping at the outlet stores, however this one is my least favorite. When you only have 4 rows of bins with clothes...why take two away at a time to exchange especially when there is almost a full house. Annoyed me a bit. So...mmm...yeah...friendly service though.

I didnt find anything at all. It is so unorganized and everything I thought looked half way decent had either holes, stains or both on them.

I believe this place should be investigated by the health department. I believe they should have mask a gloves to buy as you enter the store or side air release a liability children should not be allowed so right around the way they do in the store with the parents not paying attention. Great place if you want to buy some rice horrified some unusual objects but really the regular people hoard the shopping carts Ed never seen people be so incredibly rude to one another in my life

Fun place to diggle but kinda small

SO MANY HIDDEN GEMS at the Tacoma location! The staff is super friendly, and dont make you feel like youre in an assembly line or like youre going to be arrested for accidentally touching a bin at the wrong time. I always come here and am never disappointed!

I found exactly what i was looking for, was a cheap umbrella. My son found the motion sensor for his wii controller. Also found the board game mouse trap with everything in it. The cost was $6.05. If it has no price tag it goes by weight for the cost. Awesome place to check out.

I went to the Tacoma outlet new location returned back the next day and found an interesting collectable piece which was quiet heavy, lid which was sold we sold separately. . Checked it out on e-bay to realize three pieces missing so returned this morning and walked out with ten pounds of artsy, practical household items.

You can find a lot of good stuff here just have to be willing to look for it. I love it! I can literally spend hours upon hours here! 🥰

The employees were very chill about all the weird stuff we had to do to get all the suprisingly useful things we got for my apartment for $40 packed up enough to take on the bus home. (We just bought more luggage to haul it in for $1.50.)

Deals have always been pretty good. Prices at that particular spot are better than most Goodwills. Though merchandise quality is sometimes lower. Overall good spot to search for stuff though.

My daughter likes thrifty. I didnt care much for this location. All items piled in Bins. Also there was a strong urine odor upon entrance

I liked it but husband didnt. If you enjoy digging in bins of random stuff you would like it but if not then its not for you. Bins are large and in rows. Everyone just digs through. Pay by weight.

Great deals on everything. You need to be willing to dig around in bins because its all jumbled together. Got a bunch ofdress up clothes for my granddaughters. You will have to visit regularly to get the best deals. Thats what my friend does.

Very crazy atmosphere. Wont be going back just went once for the outlet experience and I rather just wait till I see the items at my local goodwill. But if you like doing a treasure hunt its the place for you and they charge by the weight so you get very good deal if you dont mind the hunt.

Freaking love this store! I would suggest you bring disposable gloves and plan to spend few hours. bringing a friend as a great idea to then you can help each other watch for items and maybe split a basket so you can get the best price.

I would give this place 5 stars but it has no restroom for customers. Being in Tacoma, I understand why that is but it doesnt matter to my full bladder! Also, a word of advice to anyone who is planning to go - bring disposable gloves with you to wear. Youre literally digging through the clothes and shoes as everything is in big bins rather than hung up. Clothes and shoes are sold by the pound here! Its a great place to get a decent amount of stuff at a price just about anyone can afford. (Just wash it all before you wear anything!)

Love to find treasures

Love it can get everything you need to dress your whole family. Only if you like to dig through things. This is one of my fav places. Can find some really good stuff sometimes. I find stuff still brand new with tags still on it all the time. Their prices are unbeatable stuff is not individually priced. They by the lbs. Love it.

Be prepared to spend hours in here. But if your dedicated you can find some nice things. I was frustrated with the baby shoes, they had Nike, Jordans and Vans for my 6 month old but unfortunately I couldnt find a single pair with both the left and right shoes. They always have a killer selection on bags & purses. Alot yourself plenty of time in here you sometimes have to dig through tons of stuff to find your treasure!

I always find stuff here. Last time a copper pot from 1907. I love finding things for my house and family and my kids love the at they can pick out any toy and mom can say yes because of pay by pound. They always have shoes for my kids and clothes as well as for myself and my husband. If you have the extra time digging threw bins is well worth your effort for the cool goodies you find. Just make sure to bring plenty of wipes or gloves because the bins can get quite dirty

Had a great time at this Goodwill Outlet. Be warned, this is not your normal thrift store. There are large bins with piles of product that you and everyone else is digging through to find treasures. This outlet has a lot of clothing items, not so much media.

Good deals for sure...but definitely a rough/reseller crowd. No one was there for the things I was buying so no competition for me. Gloves are a good idea its fairly dusty there. Will be visiting again.

Lets face it good will is getting more and more expensive. I can sometimes find clothes cheaper at Walmart when at the goodwill. They are rapidly getting a deservedly awful reviews for being greedy and heartless, but and this is a hugely important point, the outlets are a redemption of sorts. You pay by the pound and anything thats too heavy is charged separately for a maximum amount $5 for any one item!!

No public bathrooms. Staff yelling at people. Not FRIENDLY . Nothing in the bins when they bring them out dont waste your time . Go to the SEATTLE outlet. Much better stuff comes out . Takes to long before anything new comes out. So slow

This place is not for the faint of heart, you look through large bens of all kinds of stuff from toys and not limited to anything you find in a house. Bring gloves and a willingness to dig and look for your treasures. They also give price breaks for the more you buy. They sell it all by weight!

Not as amazing as I thought it would be. People are digging out of bins w/ no organization & w/ gloves seemed dangerous to stick your hands in. Almost all products were damaged. I understand second hand items last resort before the dumb, but could look more appealing for customers.
