I went to Batteries Plus Bulbs today in search of a replacement bulb I purchased for my lamp. Not only did they go above and beyond in helping me find the perfect bulb, I also got schooled on not touching halogen bulbs with my bare hands. Apparently that can cause the bulb to blow out, which it did with my previous purchase from Amazon. Great shop!

Decided to get a backup generator, finally! Was pleased to find out that a business Ive been using for years, Batteries plus Bulbs, carries the Champion brand. Jim, the owner helped me choose the one that best fit my needs. Had it hooked up yesterday and it works perfectly!

Golf cart batteries: they helped me identify the best ones for my cart and advised to replace corroded cables. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and followed through when they said they would! Now my old golf cart that’s been sitting around for over five years, works good as new!

So these guys were really nice. Maybe too nice? I brought my iPhone 6 in for a new battery. Price was right as was the quick service (1 hour). When I went to turn it off that night I realized that the side button was not working. At all. My son told me that they might have pinched a wire. I called on Sunday and was told two things: first, it was not anything they had done and second, the tech would not be in til Monday. I told him that the button had been fine til then. He wasn’t going for it. I took it in the next day and was initially told that it probably had nothing to do with the battery replacement. After a little conversation they said they would look at it. Approximately 1/2 hour later he brought it out to me and said he couldn’t see anything wrong with the wiring. I’m really not even sure he opened it up. When I got home I realized I had no phone service. I had to go back and have that looked at. The sd card was not seated properly. That was probably due to the “work” they did earlier. Needless to say, I will not go back and will not suggest it to my friends and family. Not impressed,

Outstanding service! I was looking for a bulb for a spot light and the staff went out of their way to be sure I bought the correct one. So many bulbs to pick from but they knew what I needed.

Friendly staff that did a great job on replacing my cellphone battery. Booking an appointment online was a breeze. They were also cheaper than other places that did the same service by almost $30. I would recommend their service for Samsung cellphone batteries.

Highly recommend this location. My truck wouldn’t start outside of Orange theory right next door and Brian has gone above and beyond to find out what the issue may be after it couldn’t be jumped and charging the battery didn’t help. It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced customer service like this. Other places would charge a fortune to test out the issue and they did it for free. I will 100% return to this location for any battery needs in the future!

I ordered a replacement battery online for a garage door opener. Even though it was a couple of dollars more than buying at online-only merchants, the convenience of picking up the battery locally was well worth it. Having local support in the event of a problem is a plus. I was quite impressed with the local store, and the courteous staff. I am a happy customer and will continue to patronize this business! Fast service, done within an hour - my cracked phone screen is good as new! Had the battery replaced in my key fob while I was there as well.Update to my review: About 6 months after my iPhone screen was replaced at Batteries Plus Bulbs, it started to become less sensitive to my touch. Now if I want to use it, I often have to spray it with cleaner and wipe it well or it will be unresponsive. This is really a bummer because it means I either need to stop complaining and stressing about my finicky phone, or get new phone. ;) I dont really want to buy a new one because the current phone is otherwise in good condition, but I may end up doing so. I never had an issue with this before now and feel 99% certain that it is because of the new screen that was installed.Second update: Still using my phone and still have to occasionally clean the screen in order to make it responsive, but Ive gotten used to its quirk and know what to do when its finicky. Definitely proud that I still have an iPhoneSE that has lasted me at least five years at this point. Also, the key fob - still going strong, and my husband is always borrowing mine now because his acts up on him. We plan to go to Batteries Plus and get his key fob battery replaced soon!

I had a really good experience with these guys. I had bought a battery for my car about two months ago. I purchased a three year warranty. My battery died this past Sunday in the parking lot at Bannerman crossing. I walked to the store and explained what had happened. There was only one guy working and he couldnt leave the store till he closed. He told me if I waited till closing time he would help. At 6PM he locked up and went to help us. He tried jumping my car, when that didnt work, he brought a new battery to where my car was, changed it out and did his best to get me taken care of. He did all of this after his shift ended. I couldnt have thanked him enough. Thank you! Thank you

These gentlemen could write the book on customer service and kindness! My 99 yr old great aunt had a stroke and I found a mobility scooter for her at an estate sale. I tried for a month to get someone to service it in North Carolina. No luck. Decided to bring it down and try in Florida. After talking to a scooter service center and their estimate being around $634, I decided to try to do it myself and get the batteries from Batteries Plus. The owner went out to my car, heard the story and offered to take the scooter in the back, change out the batteries and get it all charged up (2 from Batteries Plus were like $120 cheaper than the wheelchair company) and call me when it was done. I was so relieved and appreciative that over a month of calls, messages and no luck had ended and my aunt would finally get her Christmas present. When I came back, he rode it around the corner, tooted the horn and flipped the headlights. To him, Im sure it was nothing, but to me...it was the single most wonderful gesture anyone has done for me in a very long time. My aunt was so excited when I drove it down the hall that she cried and has renewed motivation to get out of the bed and get scooting. THANK YOU TO THE GUYS AT BATTERIES PLUS!!! You made my Christmas and may have helped my aunt get to her 100th birthday MOBILE! God bless each of you!!!

They gave me great advice on selecting the proper color for some LED lamps. They let me take home a 40 and a 60 watt equivalent bulb to see which was better. I also had them verify my car battery was still good.

Ive been to Batteries + Bulbs several times, and they either have what I am looking for, or can order it and get it in quickly. Ive gotten everything from a cell phone battery to special high-efficiency bulbs that are great. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them!

They don’t know what they are doing phone repairs wise. They messed up my camera and my Phone kept restarting. After they tried to fix the error several times for several hours, the owners wife tried to imply that I brought my device in their messed up “ I brought it in for a screen replacement”. I then took my phone to a different repair shop and they told me the last place that did the replacement had no idea what they were doing, they swapped what they messed up in my phone for tech on a different generation iPhone hence the reason it kept restarting and I couldn’t hear phone calls. I had a horrible experience and I hope y’all heed my warning. The owners wife was extremely disrespectful and she does not deserve your business.

The staff are absolutely amazing. I drove from Madison County, FL and it was worth the drive to have them install my AGM purchased start stop battery by (*best always to call first*) just driving around back and ringing the bell (totally safe, with hidden cameras EVERYWHERE!)

This place always has what Im looking for. Ive purchased batteries, LED flashlights, have had watch batteries replaced, etc. I collect vintage flashlights (mostly Winchester) and they always have bulbs that Im looking for. Everyone behind the counter is knowledgeable, friendly, and they are FAST. Highly recommend this store.

Best deal in town for UPS units and emergency exit signage. I have also had watch batteries replaced and bought a nice flashlight there. Would definitely recommend for batteries, bulbs, and more!!

Hours posted on the web and at the location are a lie. Its open...sporadically. Published phone is a cell phone...that goes to voice mail.Seems to be a hobby operation. Try Batteries Plus down the street--its a real business thats really open.

Recently, my husband was out of town and my son and I brought in an old Heroid robot that my husband has had since he was little. We needed to buy a battery and a fuse in order for it to work. The gentleman that helped us went above and beyond what he needed to. He directed us to the correct battery and told me how the battery would have to be solder in order for it to connect. Well needless to say, I have no idea how to do that and I had mentioned my husband was out of town. He actually did it for us!!! The battery was also a great price! Awesome customer service - A+++++

Went in to buy a battery a few weeks ago. Jim tested it and siad it was fine, but my starter was failing. He recommended a good shop to install the starter. THAT is service!

Batteries + is the company I have done business with. I went to get my Fob to be reprogram, the tech unprogramed thesystem in my car and in the process he burned the computer. My car had to be towed to the dealer to be fixed, $2089 was the cost of Batteries + negligence.

We needed a new lawn mower battery so we decided to Trust the Plus! They really know their stuff. Also had lifetime watch batteries put in 2 watches. There is no reason to go anywhere else your our batteries and bulbs.

Im going to try to make this short.My wife brought her phone in to get the screen fixed, it was destroyed. the original tech we worked with was OK, even though he fixed the screen and didnt do any of the tests nor give us our warranty information, he was still OK.the second tech who thankfully has left this super sh*tty company was awesome, he was amazing with customer service and was the ONLY reason we went back when the phone screen cracked from the inside(there was a hairline crack from the speaker almost to the top right corner, even he said it wasnt because of dropping) Oh by the way, we had to pay for the camera to get fixed since there was no record of it working prior to replacement of the first replacement screen, which we did, since again, the tech was really awesome to us. we have since gone back with the second replacement screen having an issue with the speaker not working, the tech fixed it and noticed the proximity sensor cable was bad and thats why my wife kept muting her phone every phone call. they told us theyd order the new piece and install it for us and we wouldnt be charged. over two weeks past and we had still not heard from them, so my wife calls and is told WE have to pay for the part since he wasnt supposed to give us a replacement screen in the first place(under warranty).hopefully if you have to have your phone screen fixed it is fixed perfectly, and they remember to do their paperwork, because if they dont you will be called a liar and pay for any issues that may surface as a result of their work.In a small town reputation means a lot, these owners have trashed theirs in my mind and I will tell everyone I know to go elsewhere with their business because of the lack of customer service and care.
