For the size of the store it is well stocked in the typical areas such as pumping, electrical, yard, small tools, etc., which helps to avoid trips to the big box stores. In my experience the employees have always been friendly, interested in assisting, and usually fairly knowledgeable, at least in regard to the more typical issues and questions. For example, on one occasion I needed a short piece of large diameter schedule 40 PVC pipe, along with some fairly uncommon reducer fittings. ACE had the pieces needed - the local big boxes did not have them in stock - and basically gave me a short piece of excess/scrap pipe which would work fine for my needs instead of requiring the purchase of a 10 length, 9 1/2 of which were not needed. Prices are not out of line with competition, and the convenience of the location is a plus. It is for these reasons I strongly recommend this ACE location as a first choice.

I love this store! I go often to purchase things for my yard, cleaners for the inside or outside of my house, paint, greetings cards, new keys, even reading glasses! Every time I go, the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Today, I was helped by Quintin, a new employee who was truly impressive. He was helpful, kind and remembered my name when I had to come back a few hours later. The store’s manager must know how to hire great employees.

Colin was extremely helpful over the phone finding me a compatible fill valve and flapper to replace my Toto toilet parts. I shop at Ace because of the great customer service, which is the rule rather than the exception. Id like to add that the Korky parts that I purchased, particularly the fill valve, were as easy as pie to install and work as well or better than the original Toto parts.

The staff here is amazingly friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable in my opinion, sometimes a little higher than the other ACE or Home Depot, but its nice and local and a 5 minute drive from the house. Its so nice to have a place to pop into when we need something quick for a weekend project. I needed a key cut ASAP to give to my realtor within the hour and they were able to meet my need so quickly.

They are always friendly and extremely helpful.

Great place to go to get a surprisingly wide range of hardware, home and lawn/garden stuff. I am always impressed with how they make sure to offer help in finding things. I have found that even though I think I have thought of everything the staff makes good recommendations and I do a better job.

Nice new clean well stocked store but I get a bit intimidated by 4 people checking up on me to help me. But maybe thats just me. It has more items than you would think.

The Google ad says they have propane but they dont have propane at Bannerman Crossing. Nice store good people. Their web marketing folks need to tighten up a little bit. Great response to the issue earns a 5.Dana, I am not in that area any more. My search was propane refills. The Bannerman location popped up first. I was just a few tenths of a mile away. I did not see a refill station as I pulled in, suspected the info might not be correct.

Very convenient to the northside neighborhoods and have had parts that the big box hardware stores didnt. Last time I needed a pvc coupling they were actually 10¢ cheaper than Big Orange. Glad they are here!

Ace hardware at this location is great. Bought a Traeger grill a few months ago. When I went to use it on Friday it would not turn on. The store put me in touch with Dana the owner. He came to my house the following morning to try and get it started. He said he needed to get some tools to check the voltage and would return shortly. He showed up about two hours latter with a brand new grill like the one that failed. I had told him I planned on smoking a ham for Easter. He told me wanted me to be able to cook the ham and would figure out the problem with my grill at a latter time and took it away. He let me know he was able to resolve the problem with my old grill a couple hours latter but said I should keep the new oneThat is unbelievable customer service by the owner of the store. Doesn’t get better than that. Buy local it pays in the end.

Im SO grateful to have an Ace so close to home now. I come in at least 3 times a week and the store is always clean, employees attentive, and Im in and out in minutes - half the time with someone helping me to the car.

I tried to buy a sprinkler and they were out. They said some are arriving in the afternoon. They took my name and phone number and said they would hold one for me and call when they come in. Great customer service and prices are expected to be a little higher than big box stores. If you live close by, the premium is worth it when youre in a pinch and dont want to spend the extra time to drive somewhere else and not get excellent customer service.
