Rented a steam cleaner from Lowe’s. It was 76 dollars when it was all said and done. I have no issue paying but the condition that they gave the steam cleaner to me in, was absolutely appalling. Lowe’s is supposed to charge an additional fee if it isn’t cleaned, but then it NEEDS to be cleaned by Lowes before you hand it out to the next guest. Otherwise youre just charging people fees and leaving it to the next customer to clean up their mess. I had to clean the entire machine and tools once I got it home before I used it, clean my car seats from the nastiness that transferred and then clean it again before I returned it. Do better next time, especially during Covid! Now I doubt that they even cleaned the handles in between customers. The woman who checked me out was fantastic, but the woman who brought the steam cleaner over to me certainly was not. I wont be renting anything from Lowes again.

Usually lowes is really bad. I can never find what Im looking for. Nobody is ever around to help but this gentleman today helped me find shims to stabilize a toilet and he was awesome! He was extremely nice, patient and looked for what I was looking for until we found it. He asked another store worker to help us who also knew exactly what I was looking for. It was sort of hidden and I didnt see it when I was in the plumbing section looking for it and he knew exactly what the shims are and where to find them.The guy I found to help me was very proactive. Usually the person that helps me is lazy and doesnt know what the item is that Im looking for and they try to find it on their phone and just..... It becomes a dead end and I leave the store frustrated and without what I went for, but this guy new exactly what I was talking about and I found him clear across the store from the plumbing section. The 2 guys that helped me today were awesome. Thank you guys for helping me. I should have gotten your names so you can help me next time Im in the store. Ill definitely look for them the next time Im in there.
This wont affect anything, but I am so mad right now. I ordered a refrigerator. They gave me a 12 hour delivery period of the entire day. Its my only day off, so I can make it work. The day before it is scheduled to arrive, I receive an email giving me a different delivery day, which I am working. The following weekend, I am out of town, so it would be weeks until the next time I am able to sit around waiting for an appliance.No one within the company was sympathetic. No rebates. No apologies. No attempts to re-schedule. The company doesnt care. Theyre truly awful.
I absolutely get lost in Lowes seriously you can never find an employee to ask. When you do find 1 to ask they say Im not in that department mam. I do love walking around looking at things I didnt come for. I end up buying way to much cool stuff and I get what I came for. Even with no help to be found in the aisles its always fun to shop and buy at Lowes. At the register a flustered very nice and efficient overworked cashier stayed busy. She was a good sport as we told her exactly how we felt about nonexistent department employees. We had a lot of stuff so theres like 15 people in line now. Theres more registers but no one working them. 2 employees were just standing and chatting it up
The employees work harder at avoiding you than at doing their job. They have no knowledge about the products and dont mind telling you that without trying to find someone who might. Sometimes no one answers the phone when they are just standing around in the store. I give them 2 stars for being open during business hours and having things to buy, even if the brands mostly arent any good.
Asked for help to find a drive belt for my washing machine. No one ever came after the girl in the appliance department called. I told her no one ever came and she rolled her eyes at me. Bye Bye Lowes. Going to Home Depot.
This is one of the best Lowe’s that I’ve visited in Flordia. The staff is very helpful and nice, especially Bill. He helped us out tremendously while we were there. He deserves a raise!
It is a big box hardware store. No complaints, but does this really need a rating? If I could, I would give Lowes 3.1 stars, Home Depot 3. Likely just out of habit.

My wife and I were looking for a red retro style refrigerator. We were striking out at all the appliance stores. Out of stock due to Corona. Cannot get parts needed to assemble. Decided to check out Lowes selection. Talked to Danny in Appliances. After searching for quite some time he was able to find a Galanz refrigerator. He informed me he thought he could get one. Only thing, it would be several weeks. After several weeks of waiting, I checked status of delivery. They informed me they could not get it afterall. Dannys searching continued. He was intent on finding us that retro fridge. He was eventually able to find another one. Three weeks he said. After almost three weeks we received a call. Your refrigerator is in. OMG!! Dannys tenacity paid off and exceeded my expectations!! Hats off and a big THANK YOU. Will definitely continue to shop Lowes!!!
Most dept assigned employees seemed to have very little knowledge. Front desk employees had very little concern for my questions as well as many other customers. Home Depot just a mile up road was MUCH better

I swear, every time I go to this store I leave thinking they should be paying me! Never fails, I end up assisting or answering a question for another shopper and if ever I need assistance its like an act of Congress to find an actual employee, there is never a Lowes worker anywhere near when you need assistance and when you do find one.... Toss a coin because thats the chance you take on whether or not they can actually help you.
Wanted to buy washer and dryer..Only 2 people..One was gone forever..5 people waiting in line..We left and went to best buy..Same washer and dryer, same price, serviced right away..Plus free delivery and set up..👍👍

Waited for an hour and got no help after they used the intercom to make that a customer needs help on the light bulb section. They announced it 4 times. After an hour I spoke to a manager and explained my situation. When the manager comes back I was told that the person that takes care of that section left for the day 10 minutes ago. Not professional at all.
Last night I went to Lowes to purchase a Tool Chest. They had a few in stock but I preferred something from Lowes online. So I needed a few extension cables for my sectional. Upon checkout there were no registers open so I was forced to use self checkout. But I wanted to use my military discount. The associate was less than helpful when I asked and even gasped when I asked if she could assist with my request. I said thank you and she never even responded. I decided not to look for a Tool Chest from Lowes afterwards due to the rude behavior of the associate.
I have called, gone by and stood in the windows and doors department, left messages at the business pro desk, and cannot get a quote for a front door to save my life.The windows and doors guy just left for his doctor appointment yesterday and no one even knew. I pulled out the books myself and read through my door options. Brought the books up to the Business Pro desk where Paul, who does a great job, did his best to help me.Been waiting for two days for the actual door person to call me back and give me a price on the other brand.Seems like a minimally run, disorganized and unprofessional store.

I’ve shopped in plenty of Lowe’s and this one isn’t understaffed, the staff are just rude and lazy!! No help by appliances for washers and dryers and when you ask for it employees tell you they can’t help and don’t know who could and walk away and never return after saying they would!! Lol! Dont ever have the material that I need. Have to always go to plan C or even plan D just to make something happen. Only go there unless theres no other resort. This is strictly regarding my shopping needs. The store is also very compact in the parking area, and to get in and out, is not a great entrance way. If you need to go to Lowes, I would strongly suggest going to the Lowes on the northwest side of town. Youre not congested like you are at this store. Theres plenty of room. And there is plenty of product. Go across town.

Had every thing we needed, new toilet, pedestal sink, exhaust fan for bathroom and faucet set..We had a older gentleman help us get the toilet off the top shelf, we didnt get his name..All for right at 200.00 so whole bathroom renovation except tub/shower!!

In general, I like Lowes. This one is not good though. The inventory is not accurate to what the website or app says. Its not particularly clean or well organized and while there are a couple nice folks working there, like many box stores, they dont know diddly about hardware. Probably the worst Lowes Ive visited. If you have an extra few minutes you might want to skip this one and go to the west side one which is considerably nicer.

Curbside pickup? Don’t even waste your time. The time I spent sitting in my car getting hung up on repeatedly by the curbside pickup agent is the same amount of time I could have gone in the store and picked up my own flooring from off the shelf! They have definitely lost my business.

I am a 72 y/o widow (lost husband in Dec) with little income and had very small life ins policy). Trying to figure life out afterwards has been horrible. Couldnt afford high rent anymore so bought an RV to try to figure out affordable housing. Didnt think about if I could manage one. I ran out of propane and it was freezing! I couldnt find an electric heater at ANY store! I couldnt get ANY help at the Lowes in Thomasville! FINALLY found a PERSON but she acted like I shouldnt have stopped to ask her anything. She said she didnt know if they had heaters anymore and had nothing else to say! So I walked the store alone and found nothing. I drove all the way to Tallahassee to this Lowes. They were out also. I didnt know what to do. An employee named Ray was helping me look and didnt know of any store nearby that wasnt out, because he called around for me. When he realized I was alone and cold at home, he gave me the electric heater from his office and refused to let me pay for it. It was all I could do not to burst out crying though my face literally got wet with tears. Im so grateful for this genuinely caring young man. Theres not enough room to go into more detail, but he literally saved me as Im already hurt and lost and broken down. Thats the best and most efficient little heater Ive ever known existed. I thank God for this man. THIS Lowes is the best store I have ever been to. They really care. Thank you Lowes for having this wonderful employee.

Edit: A representative, Spencer, handled of the situation in a very professional manner and with urgency. Lowes #417 needs more employees like him, management potential without a doubt.Wasted my time and cost me money. Managers have zero accountability. I ordered a product (purchased for $5224.44, not that it matters)in store on Dec 12th. On Dec 21st Lowes called me to saying the item was READY for pick up. On Dec 22 I arrived with a trailer to pick the item up. After 1 hour at customer service, a representative told me the item wasnt assembled and must be assembled by an authorized 3rd party for warranty purposes before it would be ready for pick up. Why was I told 24 hours prior that the item was ready for pickup? Management (or lack of) is a huge point failure. There was no verification process. This isnt the first time Ive had problems like this with store 417. Team training and new management may turn this store around, doubtful since its apparent Lowes in general, doesnt care.

Great house ware items, but the plants dont last long. Go to a local gardening store if you want plants that are used to this climate. Otherwise, have been able to get anything I needed there for any project and the Christmas trees were very fragrant, very pretty and fairly priced. Would recommend.

It is sad that one employee can change the opinion of an entire store. Shopped at Lowe’s for years but only at this store for approximately a year. Never had such rude service as today. Husband went to purchase an artificial Christmas tree which was on sale, according to sign. Went to pay for it, the register did not show sale price. The clerk called over the manager and she was very, very rude. My husband explained the tree was listed on sale and the manger stated, “I don’t care what the sign says, I will not sell that tree to you at the sale price!”. No explanation, just not willing to honor sale price. My husband just left the tree and refused to make purchase. No excuse for a manager to act so rudely. May shop there again, but it won’t be my first choice.
Went in to get a dishwasher. The staff member said he would be right back, but it took 30 mins for him to come back. He was nice, but this is not how I would like to spend my time.
Extremely unhelpful employees. I had the worst time purchasing a lawn mower priced at 3k, for my dad, who wanted his mower from lowes. Personally I rather pay a little more at Home Depot and not have to deal with frustrated employees. I have never been more disappointed at a place.

Got a delivery of paving stones and gravel. HALF of it arrived. Went to store and they said they would reschedule for four days later. No phone call. No text. NO SHOW. Went back to store (Cap Circle Tallahassee) and was told it was rescheduled for a week later. Called the delivery company itself and the nice lady told me she was fed up with the hundreds of calls she had to take because of Lowes screw ups. Today I am sitting here as my phone call to Lowes delivery goes unanswered. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS STORE AGAIN AND WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO TELL PEOPLE TO DO THE SAME.

Lowes is convenient and well stocked. We shop there frequently. Good selection and decent service. Special orders are very easy. They seem to be better stocked than hd across the street.

I shop each Spring for my plants, mulch, and other supplies for my yard and flower beds. They always have a good selection of healthy plants.

Lowes does a pretty good job of making supplies and appliances available at a reasonable cost. We were happy to find the simple, non-computerized, older style washing machine that I could run on a generator if I had to.
Needed an item from top stock in paint, asked an employee in closet hardware and was pawned off onto the one paint desk employee who had a line of customers waiting for paint. Asked an employee in hardware if they could just get a ladder from the next aisle and grab the one box from top stock for me, was pushed back to the paint desk. I worked at Lowes for 10 years and we were trained to help a customer if we could even if it wasnt our department. I didnt need any technical help, just a rolling ladder and someone to pull a box down. The employee who brushed me off walked by a dozen times and saw me waiting for the paint desk guy. Are employees not trained to climb a rolling ladder and retrieve a box for customers?
The CSR at the return counter is over worked. The line kept getting longer and longer and there was no one to open another one of the three return counters to help. A simple return took an estimated 30 minutes if not longer.

Lowe’s customer service was impeccable! From the time I got there and the customer service reps helped to get down the 282lb double vanity to my checkout and Lodi g experience. The cashier told me she would get me a loader and two people showed up with a mobile loading dock and helped lift it in the back of my truck. Great Job! Lowe’s NE Capital Circle!

Lots of the plants looked half dead in the garden section. The tool section seemed like it was missing a lot of stuff. We ended up going to homedepot instead.
A little upset today we could not get anyone to help us. I asked this young lady if she could get us help at the gas grills and she said she could, so I went back to the grill section and we waited and waited and waited, finally we helped ourselves.so today only I will give Lowes 3 stars. and I will be back because I always have a good experience at Lowes.
Horrible customer service. Asked for help twice and both said they would help someone else and then come back. I waited for 40 minutes both times and in both occasions no one came back to help. I had to search for the product myself and wasnt even able to verify that the product was what I was even looking for.
Lowe’s customer service (or lack there of) strikes again! Went in to buy a dryer. Waited in line at the appliances section for about 20 minutes. This lady cuts in front of us and the sales associate, Tammy, instead of telling the woman to wait, starts helping her. Then, she turns to us and tells us she needs to walk to the front to assist the woman but another associate will be by momentarily. We wait for another 20 minutes. While we wait we ask 2 other associates if they will help us, to which they reply no, but they will “send someone over”. Eventually Tammy returns. We show her the dryer we want to buy and she says that it’s out of stock and she can’t sell the floor model. Went to Home Depot. Immediately had a salesperson help us complete our purchase (same model and price as the one at Lowe’s). I don’t know why we ever went Lowe’s in the first place...
This store (#0716 Capital Circle NW) has a systemic customer service problem. This is the closest Lowes store to where I live and I keep hoping it will improve its customer service. It has not. This Lowes has the worst curbside pickup that I have ever experienced. I called for over 10 minutes from curbside parking and nobody picked up. When someone finally did pick up, they promptly put me on hold. This has happened before to me at this same store. The store was not busy at all when I arrived and many employees were standing around idly chatting. Also, there was only one vehicle in curbside parking. I finally I gave up and went in to pick up my order which completely defeats the purpose of curbside. It was not busy at all inside. The two employees I worked with were not wearing their masks correctly by not covering their noses. Ultimately, the pickup desk employees were unable to find my order after searching several times. They had just sent my ready confirmation an hour earlier. I finally told them to cancel my online order. They seemed more than happy to cancel my order because it was the easiest path for them.The only reason I still shop at Lowes is because they offer a 10% Veterans discount. However, I will certainly avoid this store in the future because the hassles are not worth the discount.
Lowes has been a favorite of mine as far as hardware and tools. Always have very helpful employees and fast checkout too.

Difficult to get assistance in Lowes. People at the front are typically very nice but getting help in various departments is not easy. Usually the gentlemen in the plumbing supplies area are knowledge and helpful. I enjoy the garden center and plants they have available. However, the website is not helpful at all. Most items require you to add it to your cart to even get a price! We no longer shop on line at Lowes because of this.

I am goin to specifically call out Lowes Online ordering and delivery options... totally 1 star !! it pretty much sux... try to order 3 things and 1 is not available to order online, I have to go to the store and buy. another item is available with free shipping and the 3rd item is not available for several weeks and would cost $75 to ship to my house but has free pickup at the store... my point is that the Lowes online ordering is hit or miss at best and you never can count on getting what you need online in any consistent manner... what a mess !!!
Bad customer service every time. Today I got overcharged by a cashier who didn’t even say hello to me when I walked up to the register. Instead of fixing the problem there he told me to go to customer service when I brought the error to his attention. Customer service gave me a refund for the overcharged item but also acted like me asking for help was a huge inconvenience.
Was the worst of the 4 local stores between Home Depot and Lowes....now I would say it 2nd choice, a close 1st.
Has potential to become better except their customer service is absent or lacking. They have more employees with poor attitudes that move like pond water and rather talk about each other than acknowledging people. You know which employees you are. This is over a month of coming every week or sometimes twice a week. I rather go to a small local hardware store and pay a little more for those who appreciate their job more.
What the heck is going on in the appliance dept.? I had the worst experience ever here. We ordered in-stock appliances that were scheduled for a dec 29th delivery. They never came. After inquiring with Mike the out-going Store manager, we were told delivery was pushed off a week, which ended up being a bold faced lie, as we later found that the appliances we purchased had “disappeared” in the warehouse. For the second time, I went to the store in person to speak to a manager, this time I spoke with Ray, the new store manager, who seemed to handle the situation to the best of his abilities and gave me his promise that he would rectify the situation. So at this point I’m confident that our washer/ dryer combo is going being delivered and installed the next day. We get a call from Dave the appliance manager assuring us of our delivery. Delivery arrives incomplete, it’s missing a stacking kit, I assure delivery it should have been on the truck, they confirm it is not but it was on tomorrow’s truck and they would return to finish installation. I live 10mins from Lowe’s and explained I could run up to the store and just grab it while they were unloading the appliances, which I did. Came back and they were gone, appliances hooked up but left scattered side by side, couldn’t open or use them. Called the next day, to find we were not scheduled for finish installation at all. Called customer service and they spoke to delivery who were not willing to make the necessary arrangements for finish installation, leveraging what they were willing to do against what they should have done already. I cancelled the sale that day. As a loyal and frequent customer I refuse to allow Lowe’s to treat me this way, no one should.

Price difference at register. Even mgr told me I was wrong. Embarrassing in holding up the line. I went back and took a picture to show I was correct. The store mgr would not give a discount for poor customer svc and for being correct. They lost out on a $200 item.

This is the very worst Lowe’s I have ever been to. They need to fire about half of the employees and find better people to work here. You can’t ever find anyone to help and when you finally see someone and start to approach them to ask for help, they see you and start walking the other way! I remembered as I left without buying anything, why I never shop here.
