Really well stocked Indian market. They dont really carry other Asian products like oyster sauce.
Hidden gem! This store has a great selection of Indian and middle eastern items. Produce is fresh and they also have a refrigerated/frozen section.
Great place and great prices! Its worth going at least once to compare prices especially for herbs and spices. Best in town! Not to mention the meat market as well.
Nice place for India groceries. The only issue is that it is little crowded most of the time and if you preferred to avoid covid, better to go at odd times.
The people were very helpful and showed me Naan bread and dal. Awesome.
Great place, great workers and below the market price produce.
Fresh halal goat! Frozen cant compare. And the lamb was also better than past experiences with frozen supermarket options. This is MY store for goat and lamb meat. Not to mention the whole chopped chicken. If you want fresh halal, this has to be the best option around!
This store amazingly had almost everything you need. The staff are very helpful. Store is clean. I would recommend this place very much.
Always good choice in produce, spices, and a variety of flour. I have come across mold on a pair of frozen naan. The exp was still about 8 months out.
I love shopping here! Fresh fruits & vegetables.
I have no complains about the store but instead about the manager or whomever was in charge of the store this afternoon (Tuesday, March 23rd). The cashier was very nice and helpful, so my husband asked her what Indian place she could recommend to eat in town since we are new to the area. Well, it seems like she is also new to the area so she offered to ask the manager. When she went to ask the guy, my husband overheard him literally respond with: just tell him any place. Honestly, it was very rude and disrespectful. We are neither idiots nor deaf, mister. Remember that you have a job and a store running because WE (the customers) buy from there. DO BETTER!!!!!!
Lots of really unique Indian packaged food as well as a small produce and butcher.
Friendly folk. Good selection
We get much of our rice, spice, fish, and meat from here! The price of vegetable is also quite low. Recently more stuff from Bangladesh is available here, besides the usual indian/pakistani ones. Which is great! Only con is that sometimes the vegetables are not very fresh.
Great for College Students trying to cook more.
Good stuff..Great service
I like fresh lamb very much
Good range of Indian groceries. But this place is totally crammed. difficult to move around, with trolleys.
Great little store for Indian, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean products and often the produce, such as Bell Peppers, Fresh coconuts, lemons, etc., are cheaper than the regular grocery store
Decent. But some products are expired. To owner: please stop selling expired products. To customers: please check products expiry date before buying it.
Had everything i needed. Service was good if you asked for helpGot a great recipe from an older couple shopping there.
It has a good variety of food, I really appreciate the chocolates and the sweet potatoes. However, we need to be careful because sometimes it has expired products on the shelves.
Chicken and goat are great quality. Samosa at the counter always delicious
Good hospitality ..thank you
The kindest people ever! They have been so incredibly helpful when my parents stop by to try new things! They are so proud of the culture and are so welcoming to others who are interested! I could not recommend them anymore! They deserve the highest awards!
They have delicious samosas here (for only $1)!
Great place to get staples for middle eastern cuisine! Friendly and clean.
Like others saying always watch the expiration date because they knowingly sell expired products. I purchased this box of date for 24.99 and it was all bad. Greedy people. Always very high prices. Look for other stores or online venues.
Good selection of halal products and some hard-to-find items. However, a cheery Hello to welcome all your customers - not only those youre familiar with - goes a long way. Remember, some of your customers may have very little experience with ethnic foods/products of the South Asian variety, and a welcoming smile or hello will put them at ease and encourage them to ask for help with certain items. Just an observation from a regular customer.
People is Nice countySo we can Do thanks for that 😎😎
STORE IS GOOD BUT HE GOT EXPIRE MERCHANDISE. WE BOUGHT GROCERIES FROM THERE I CALLED THE GENTLEMAN FEW TIMES HIS COWORKER TOLD ME GIVE ME YOUR NUMBER AND HE WILL CALL YOU RIGHT BACK ITS BEEN 3 DAYS I HEARD NOTHING
Polite helpful cashiers and lovely market
Thanks to the universities and the governmental hub, the population is diverse and supports a wide range of world cultures. Tallahassee has the good fortune to have markets that cater to the needs of these and the culinary desires of those seeking to expand their cookery repertoire! This market offers ingredients that range from India westward into the near Middle East. I highly recommend visiting and sourcing from them.
Excellent selection, great prices on fresh fruits and vegetables. Fast and friendly service. I highly recommend Apna Bazar.
Prices are little high but employees service is very good.
Dont no this place
Good place for halal food and Indian food in general. It does offer Arab food as well
Lovely store so many wonderful items to choose from. They have fruits and veggies as well. And halal meats.
Best store
Very well stocked and extremely helpful lady, behind the front counter.
My goto store for Tandoori and Garlic Nan
Very good store. Has lots of the international food, from Arabic to Indian, Pakistanis, Bangladesh, and middle eastern products. They also have a meet market in the back where meet come and get cut fresh. Lots of fruits and vegetables. Has so many different milk and yogurt products. Only problem is that the prices are very high.
I had originally heard about this from a few friends and decided to visit. Unfortunately, there was an unruly, loud employee/cashier walking around and yelling in the store when I visited (I think he said his name was Paisal or something but am not sure). The other cashier didnt seem to do anything about it or care nor did the gentlemen unboxing groceries. The cashier who was being unruly was wearing a sports shirt, jeans and tennis shoes and didnt seem like he was doing productive.
They have a good selection of ethnic food. Be careful about the price tags. Sometimes you may have some price discrepancies between product price tags and your receipt. Also, something I do not like about this place is the guy at the check out who tries to convince you on buying meat from their store.
Always well-stocked. Friendly staff. Decent variety.Update: New management is frequently seen without masks. Very sad.
This store better in compared to others indian grocers in Tallahassee. Their collection of spices, vegetables, fish, meat, and frozen food is good. Through you may not get all the popular brands here, but still I consider it for my groceries because of its location and collection. I think u can get fresh vegetables on Friday night and Saturday.
This store was amazing. Has every Arabic food we were looking for. Very well stocked and clean. We will continue to drive 1.5 hours to shop with you!
Best Indian store Ive found in Tally. They have fresh produce.
This was my first time visiting. It is an amazing store. A huge variety of products with reasonable prices. Im a novice at cooking and eating Indian food but Im going to start trying to make something new at least once a week. So this grocery store will be a great adventure for me.
Indian, Pakistani grocer. Great prices and a wide selection of foods, vegetables and ingredients if your seeking to freshly prepare cuisine of that region of the world. If you have questions or are in need of recommendations, ask the staff.
This place is amazing, it has everything a desi person needs to keep himself happy and healthy. Highly recommended!
Do you self-identify as a Foodie?(I loathe the term, opting for the preexisting Gourmand but since that comes across haughty-as-hell in non-French parlance, I accept it.)Anyway - if you are - then I strongly urge you to come here.1. They run their own slaughterhouse (Halal) so youre getting prime meat. Everything but the porcine variety. A whole lamb? Heres your place.2. Top quality Saffron sold here. I paid $40 for one ounce.3. Freshest produce. Look at my most recent pictures.4. baklava at the counter. If you fancy yourself adept in the kitchen and a lover of food then you really owe it to yourself to check this place out once. Just once.
Love it! Great quality and great staff.
Very awesome store! Has delicious tomatoes!
Great market! Fresh Halal meat at great prices.
The meat butcher was unhygienic and sneezed literally on the meat. When I asked for new one he was rude and was not willing to get me fresh one.
Essence of india
This is a convenient produce market (plus more) with reasonable prices. Open late for a late-night shopper like me. They answer my questions about seasonings and produce Im unfamiliar with. Plus they have fresh samosas. Yummmm
The owner here was very helpful, kind & generous. The store also has a wide variety of various Indian products. Overall, a good experience buying stuff from the store.
Great ethnic grocery store. They have fresh produce, spices... I get all my Ghee from here.
They have fresh vegetables and many other goods. The prices are definitely better than your everyday supermarket. You can find many ingredients of Indian and middle eastern cuisine here, as well as fresh breads and goat meat.
I have to admit....I was a bit timid about making my first trip because I felt like I would have no idea what to purchase. I knew that I liked Jasmine and Basmati rice as well as Samosas and I knew I would be able to find lamb and goat. But what all of the other products Ive never even heard of?! Rest assured that if I can get up the courage, so can you! This is a great Internationals grocery that has just what you need to add some great flavor to your food. The standard American diet is unhealthy and boring after a while. I love cooking non-American foods so this is one of my go-to spots for spices and such. There is a large selection of foods, spices, meats, and candy. There is a produce section that has fresh fruits and vegetables, but over all it is small compared to other sections of the store. This is a good place for halal meat and the quality is great as well as the prices appropriate. I will definitely keep returning.
Its not an Indian grocery store but a Pakistani store... Although you can get most of Indian stuff if you are non vegetarian, otherwise go to some other places like little India etc.
I go here for the Simosas. They are great and hot. $1 each. Fast and cheapsnack/lunch
They dont have fresh and all the things are not properly arranged, they really gave me one time waste or not good samosa... and didnt respond properly to customersIf they improve the customer service better and keep the fresh vegetables then, people may like more and will often visit than going to other shops
Great staff, helped my gf find all the things she needed and helped take stuff to the car, would recommend this place to everyone!
Very nice placeto find Halal food easily. Cheerful lady helps you managing the things you bought. Very gentle men help you to find what you need. But there is a need for more Turkish brands :)
Wonderful service!! The people are very nice and care for their customers. There is a very wide variety of inventory here. I loved the positive atmosphere.
So friendly. A place to find some interesting veggies and dry goods. Plain yogurt is delicious. Stop in and look around.
Nice staff, good halal meat 😌
If you want to get Indian grocery, this is a good place to find it
I can get Caribbean products. The produce is fresh.
Really the only place providing halal meat in town. The people who run the place are really friendly.
Reminds me of the middle east. The grocery store is fun to explore & try new products.
Small family owned Indian store. Its new, so lot of fresh products. Prices are not bad either.
Fresh produce every ThursdayA good variety to choose from
Good place to buy chicken and goat meat
Good place for halal foods. The vegetables do not look that fresh. Good place for fresh meats.
Bad price bad serviceI call ask price is Different and I drive 45 minit and after $15 extra b c they know i bay b c I drive 45 minit to expensive better go to Valdosta Georgia is a cheaper store and good service and good product
Store with everything you need for all types of Indian cuisine. Best prices on spices and specialty rices in town.
They seem irritated if you ask questions. I was the only black person in the store and I felt really uneasy because it seemed like they didnt want me there. The clerk even put back an item that I had told him I was going to purchase. They do have a wide array of products, beauty items also seasonings and fruits and vegetables. I like the wide variety of items but I felt like I was being watched. They have to understand that sometimes a customer might be looking for a certain product sometimes the Indian name is different so its easy for an American customer to look a little lost and confused as most of the time we have to Google the names on the packaging. I felt like they thought I was trying to steal or something. I will visit this location again in hopes that they can do a little better with customer service and inclusiveness.
I love Apna Bazar! Their selection of international foods, especially halal foods is amazing
Nice place to find Indian groceries.
Provides all Arab food
Right store to get around. More Indian than middle eastern cuisine. I did find my grape leaves.
This store has a very good selection of Indian, Pakistani and Middle Eastern spices, food and drinks. They do get busy, many people come to buy products. The store staff are very friendly.
Best place to shop Indian grocery. Fresh rosy table and very good price
I like to cook so I enjoyed browsing the selection of Asian/Indian produce, including items you cant find at Publix or Walmart. They also had a great selection of Indian spices for a good price.
Meat is too pricey - Good store but service is not good. Since this is the only meat store in tally they are not giving much options to the customer and price is also high. People at the meat service does not understand English and no response.
Great Pakistani store with reasonable prices, huge selection of international products and good customer service. Cheerful environment!
Halal meat and you can find any Desi thing you need. Owner is a nice and friendly person
Great store! If youre looking for ethnic food, this is the place to shop! Very friendly & helpful.
A perfect grocery/culinary/spice shop for any person from the Indian subcontinent presently in Tallahassee.
Wide variety of hard-to-find foods for Mediterranean ingredients. Check expiration dates. Lots of expired foods on the shelves.
They are good but we expect something more they are capable of. They could be better, even the best in the city.
Wonderful market. If you enjoy tea they have one of the best selections in town.
You almost get everything basic thats needed. But it has everything in large sizes. No option but to buy large packets and big cans or bottles.
