This store is tucked away between Westshore Mall and International Plaza. It is a treasure find for serious, beginner, and young artist. We were impressed by the impressive selection of supplies of all kinds and the fair pricing. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and fun. I find it appalling that this studio endorses Bob Ross Inc. by selling their products. BRI stole Bob Rosss name against his wishes and created the business it is today out of greed. Bob Rosss intentions were to show to the world that anyone can express themselves through painting and did not want to exploit that beautiful experience through profit. Terrible.

They have all kinds of art supplies. I found some water soluble oil paints and some great new brushes. Cant wait to use them

This place is nice and well organized, but I will Never shop here again. I waited in line to get assistance with getting spray paint out of a locked cabinet. Then was advised I needed to get back in line and wait to purchase them. I felt it was because a Caucasian lady was waiting in line and me being African American she was treated as priority. In most stores if the employee gives you something out of a locked cabinet they also cash you out. If it wasn’t for the fact that this was the only store that had what I needed to finish my project, I wouldn’t have purchased anything.

Its an artists version of Heaven!!! I even think I heard angels sing! They seem to carry all brands of media, not just a few selections of each type. If youve belonged to an art subscription in the past, you will see full size versions of the samplers seen in the boxes.

I have always had a lovely experience each and everytime I have walked into this store. Employees are always super attentive and offer suggestions and insight when needed of they can. This is my go to destination for all my art supplies, I come here anytime I need something for pretty much any craft or art project.

I can only speak to their online operation, but I couldnt be more impressed. I ordered small quantity of rives bfk cream and a few other pprintmaking supplies. The order came quickly, unfortunately the paper came damaged. I sent a picture of the paper and the inside shipping container and either a few hours they replied and offered to replace the damaged product. Also it was on a Sunday. Amazing customer service. Keep up the great business practices.

No big box store here! Store manager takes time to help our daughter understand the value of Copic Markers.The wide array of different supplies is surely mind blowing. So many kinds of art supplies represented in what seems a small space.I am a Fountain Pen geek, they have Rhodia, Fabriano, and Leichstrum notebooks. I was hoping to find some really cool paper of note pad I had never heard of, but we left with full bags of goodies.Whilst at the store we met some ladies from Lakeland who had come to check out the Copic Markers.Absolutely amazing store. Well worth the drive in downtown traffic.

I love the Tampa store! They have a great selection but being into watercolor, I wish they had more! I also wish they had more books and magazines on art topics. That said, I can find most everything I need each time I visit. The staff is helpful and for the most part, knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting this store because they carry a wide range of quality products for everyone - from budding artists to seasoned pros! A great place to browse, too!

I had a great experience with Chelsea today at the Blick store. She helped me find frames, filler material and Sealer that fit my budget. I love being waited on by another artist, she understands an artists budget.

SO! Refreshingly inspiring having a genuine Fine Arts Store back in the neighborhood! Reminiscent of Pearl Art Supply one of my first jobs... I love this place.. great people, artists too of course!

This place is amazing everything any kind of artist or crafter might need. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Its so lovely! The parking lot isnt confusing, its next to a Starbucks. Lots of art supplies, soooo much nicer than the other art supply stores. And great deals!

If I could give zero, I would. Im from out of state and make this place a destination. Im disgusted that no one out of eight AVAILABLE employees offered any type of assistance. I cant believe I even went there to make one simple transaction. The cashier never wanted to check inventory when I politely asked for assistance, the lady never once tried to take the time to even look up an item number for me. Absolutely disgusted.

I used to think shopping at Michaels or Hobby Lobby was less expensive than shopping at Blick. Wow, I was wrong. Most of the exact same items are less expensive here (even if you were using a coupon at a larger craft or non-art store). Crazy. They also have a much much better selection and more knowledgeable employees. Oh, the music is really good. For whatever that is worth

Very nice store. A lot of supplies with a friendly staff. They were assistive but not pushy or annoying. I am not an artist but I will likely return to buy future gifts for myartsy friends.

Blick has been outstanding in their customer service. I’ve been going the last several years and always enjoy my experience in their store. I really appreciate their efforts in making customers feel like they are valued. They have an outstanding Regional Manager Karen who makes sure they are trained and sincere in their efforts to make a customer happy. I highly recommend.

Some items are over-priced, but they have a good selection of art supplies. The staff is also friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there arent many art stores in the Tampa Bay area, so options are limited. Be sure to check them out online, because pricing and specials arent completely the same. For instance, a sketching journal that we bought was on sale in the store, but not online. Some pencils that we also got at the store were slightly less online, but we needed them now.

As a full time artist, I love this place. I dont get to Tampa often, so when I make the 45 mile trip from Brooksville, I stock up. It is the best place for art supplies and the sales are fantastic.

LOVE this store! I had a huge order of stretchers, canvas, gesso, and when I came in they offered to help me carry it out! They were all really kind and helped me look at brushes, it was my first time being at this location too, I did call ahead for my orders though, thats always a good thing to do if youre looking for something specific :)

I have been looking for an art store like this forever! Sales people were friendly and helpful. It is almost an hour drive for me but one Ill definitely make again! I also loved that they had a table set up for you to pick items to buy for the Veterans Art program! Art is such a great way for soldiers to express themselves and start healing!

Your first time here you will fall in love with this store. There are so many arts items. For Architects, painters of all types and for the ones that have great drawing skills. Lots of pencils, markers, acrylic paints, rulers, canvas, brushes and more. Great place for the serious arts and craft persons. Quality service and products.

Very high quality artist materials a little on the high side of prices. Definitely a retail store. Not really for contractors. Emergency its great they have what you need. Paying retail when your a contractor, well bites into profit of jobs. Should have a contractors prices list. The high quality of materials are for professional use.Of course there are do it yourself introductory art projects and fun types of artistic ideas and projects. Contractors in case of emergency or if price is not an issue.

It is unbelievable the amount of products and options they have, it reminded me of an old fashioned hardware store that carries everything, nothing like a Walmart you can tell they know what they are doing. The staff made me feel like I was their priority which is a lost art at most other businesses.

If you are an artist and love to paint or do any arts and crafts this is the place to be if you are in the South Tampa area Ive been shopping at Blake for a few years now and they have a great rewards program.

This is one of the largest and most expansive Blicks in the state. All the stores are a little different and carry different supplies. You can get everything through their site if needed. This location also has printing and custom framing. You can also get them to scan your artwork for printing on site. Just allow for extra time for the whole process.

This is a true art supply store. The store is well stocked with true artist name brand products . The knowledge of the staff is superior and professional. You are at home in this store. Great selection of Copic and Prismacolor alcohol based markers and many more items too numerous to mention. No place like Blick for true art supplies. Blick is family to the artist community.

I had questions that even the manager couldnt answer about their products. When asking her (manager) on duty about clay, she simply stated that she didnt know anything about clay or pottery and couldnt help me...unacceptable response coming from a customer service based retail store. I left unhappy and the fact that this was my first experience with this store, it left a really bad first impression. I will get my art supplies from somewhere else.

Not exactly a place thats easy to wander into (it took a full lap to make it into the parking lot) but its an artists dream inside. From casual hobbies to professional supplies (skewing to the latter) you can probably find it here.

Love my local Blicks! on Westshore in Tampa! McKenzie and all the staff are very helpful and full of knowledge of their products. Parking is tight but I always seem to manage to get a spot. I love that they have a variety of creative art classes for both children and adults....just look for the chalkboard out front for dates and events.

Always have the art supplies Im looking for and at competitive prices. Join their loyalty rewards for free and get crazy good coupons to make the prices even better. Friendly staff always willing to help. I dont mind driving out of my way to come here.

I used to frequent Pearl Art Supplies and then they closed. Now, Blick has taken over my creative heart with their unbelievably awesome assortment of supplies, gift ideas and workshop offerings. I very strongly recommend this store as your one and only destination for Art supplies!

Absolutely my favorite art supply chain. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable and I can usually find what Im looking for (and about 5 things I wasnt but now I need them so in the basket they go). If they dont have the item in stock, they usually look it up and offer to have it delivered to me.

This store is a good spot for getting art supplies and some friendly advice. The sales done there are pretty good. The only thing to note is that for people coming from the highway to the store, the entrance is past the stoplight, so a u turn past the light is required if you go that way.

I LOOOVE Blick Art since I was in school. When I moved back my inner creative geek had to come out to play. I wish I could get half of the store and the whole staff. It’s a great feeling to have people give you honest suggestions about products and being cool enough to provide as much insight as they can but never getting in between your creative process! Every time I stop by I don’t want to leave.

The closest DB to us in Indianapolis is in Chicago so when we travel to our condo in Venice a trip here is always on the list. A candy store for every artist. So much to love. ❤️❤️

Thrilled we have a blick store here. For art supplies you cant beat it, they have everything! Their staff is pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. They may have some basic craft supplies but realize this is an art supply not a crafts store.
