I am going to tell you a story about faith and trust in the human spiritWe were busy negotiating the sale of our home in the Bahamas in preparation for our return to the USA and we also knew that we were going to need a car when we arrived. So, as one does, I went on line and looked for the year and model that I was interested in. I have purchased many cars in my life but never sight unseen so I received a phone call from Amir who assured me that he had just the car for me telling me that not to worry it would suite our needs.He handed us off to his daughter Camille to move the deal along. I had seen the maintenance record for the vehicle since new and all was good, I then sent a mechanic out to inspect the vehicle and received a good report but still I worried. Could I trust these people that I had never met to do “ the right thing “You bet you can not only did they do the right thing they went above and beyond to help us. Some of the photos showed wear and cracking on the drivers seat Camille said no worries we will get our leather people to redo the seat, they did but weren’t happy as some of the old leather color did not Mach the new so they went ahead and told their leather man to do all of it.We are delighted with the car and have since driven it from Tampa to Maryland with absolutely no problems, in fact Maryland insist on a very detailed inspection of the vehicle before you can register it and it passed that with flying colors!So the moral of the story, if you have a vehicle type in mind call Amir or Camille and have them find one for you I would buy another car from Gateway Motors in a heart beat!!!!

I got my Veloster from here back in March or April… We test drove many many velosters before stopping here and were so happy with the customer service and the car itself that we jumped on the offer as quick as we could. It’s family owned so our respect for the company is even higher. It only took me this long to leave a review because life happened but I also wanted to leave an honest review about the car. They told us it was a reliable car and were not lying. They were upfront about everything that had to do with the car. My Veloster still runs like the first time we test drove it, they offered services if anything were to be wrong with the car but we have yet to have any issues. The owner of the dealership topped off my fluids, detailed it and had it parked out front for me when we arrived to pick it back up. No gimmicks, no forced persuasion, and no ridiculous fees. We got a small check in the mail in return because we overpaid a small portion… other dealerships would’ve pocketed it but the honesty of this family is better than that.

I love my car!! They gave me a free warranty to cover my engine that will last no matter how long i own the vehicle. Everyone was so friendly. My credit is not the best and they got me a really great deal, which I was surprised because every where else I went either couldnt get me financed or wanted way too much money every month. Gateway Motors is a great place! I am so happy that I stopped in and took a look around! I went to a few other dealers along Florida Ave and none of them showed as much interest in helping me find the right car as Gateway did. Buying a car can definitely be a pain and they made it so easy and made me feel comfortable and confident along the way. They worked so hard to get me the best deal possible since I was financing. They explained all my options and let me choose what I felt was best for me. THEY WERENT PUSHY AT ALL! Which was important to me! Have never written a review before, but the experience I had at Gateway made me feel compelled. Extremely honest family-owned business that prioritized everyone getting a fair and friendly deal. Vehicle I bought was already priced below similar vehicles I had been shopping, so there was no need to haggle. And an example of their attention to detail: after the deal was done, recognized that 2 turn signal lights needed replacing - they insisted on installing new ones, making sure fluids were topped-off, and cleaning the truck before I drove it off the lot. Would definitely recommend Gateway to anyone in the market for a high quality used car or truck!

Camille responded to me almost immediately. They had a dream car of mine, a gto. They were 100%honest about the vehicle and even offered me an incredible warranty for my piece of mine. I purchased my first vehicle from this place in March of 2017 . By December I had invested over $600 in repairs of the vehicle . From the spark plugs one week after to the power steering and finally the transmission had issues . All in less than a year . I wouldnt trust them because I did & I felt completely taken advantage of . Ive since sold the car to a mechanic and cut my losses but this family run business was no good to me and I wouldnt recommend it .

Unfortunately I have to give one star but people need to know this. These people are nothing but liars and crooks. Do not trust any of your information with them because they will forge paperwork. They will lie straight to your face. This is a place you should never go if your interested in a vehicle.
