Customer Service was great. We had placed an online order for a mattress but it had been canceled due to stock issues at another store. When we picked up my sons bed at this store, we asked if they could price match and the CS staff was accommodating in making sure we received the same discounted price.

Kinda disappointed about the selection this time around. Its December 17 and almost all the Christmas decor has been taken down. I came in today to the Britton Plaza location just to shop for Christmas decorations and their was hardly any compared to a couple weeks ago where half the back of the store was all Christmas decor. Please put back up your Christmas decor until after Christmas. I never have a problem other than that and staff is very friendly.

They always have great deals and surprises! Today I got a pack of 6 Thomas English Muffins for $1.80 and yes, they were fresh and still had a week and a half left on them!

My girlfriend and I have recently been to this location a few times now and have nothing but great things to say about the store, especially the staff. All team members on the staff have greeted us with warning smiles and have been able to assist us in exactly what we were looking for. Amanda truly went above and beyond for us during our last visit and we will definitely be coming back. The store is very clean and well organized.

Total reset...even changing the entry door! Nasty floor and hard to find my usual purchases. Probably needed a fresh start. Love the freebie snack!

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize a couple employees at this store. Alwin and Michael H helped me with my recent patio furniture purchase. Both these guys were extremely professional and ensured I was taken care of. Michael literally called about 5 other stores to find the particular patio set I was looking for. He could have just left it at that but he even secured a company to drive over 100 miles 1-way for me to go pick the set up, deliver, install, and even discard the cardboard. I was overwhelmed with the level of service I received and I wanted to display my level of thanks for these guys going well above the call of duty to make a customer happy.

Great prices, great products, adorable home decor. I could decorate my whole house with what they sell at big lots. I bought a recliner for a really good price and I’m very happy with it. They have some thing for everybody at the store in Britton Plaza

This place is so underrated but was one of the best shopping experiences ever. Alwin was so helpful, professional and courteous when helping us pick out a new couch. I found a portable solar charger here cool. The charger doesnt work exactly like I hoped as in a straight charge from sun to phone though it charges the battery instead but still cool to find.

This store carry a larger number of items than the Big Lots closer to my home.

This place is good but you have to watch the prices because some things you found cheaper in Walmart or in other places

Love the fact big lots has gotten a larger selection of furniture and decor and most prices are reasonable they have nice selections of home decor and kitchen items. Staff knows where everything is and is willing to help you find what you are looking for. Do wish sale items were more plentiful as they go quickly but overall you can decorate an entire home on a budget. And find some unique items that wont break your budget.

Michael and John are exceptional at there jobs. Long story short I bought a couch at a big lots in Brandon (560) and they waited for me to have half the couch in my truck till they told me they did not have the rest. The furniture lead, Heather told me they would call me when they get it in, and proceeded to take my number and name on a paper which had 20 other peoples names on it. I thought I was never going to get my couch ! Feeling ambivalent, the next day still feeling uneasy about the situation I called the store and asked to speak the manager. Well heather answered the phone. I hung up because she couldn’t tell me anything else ! Called corporate and talked to a support team member Sheryl. Sheryl, as soon as she answered had a boorish tone and seemed to quite unfriendly. She told me they could not guarantee anything on the truck. So she did not have information to tell me anything further. When I asked to speak to her manager without saying a word just forwarded me to his voicemail. Called again feeling dubious, with big lots, terry answered the phone. Terry was professional And helpful. Within ten minutes he told me to go to the surrounding stores because they have it. So I drove to dale Mabry and that’s where Michael and John. Heather, at Brandon (560) never refunded me my money. So they couldn’t take one out of their inventory without me purchasing the recliner. But understanding what there customer ( me ) was going through, they were doing everything in there power to make this as easy for me as possible! They made a couple calls. They got some nos and really it seemed inauspicious . After 2 days of dealing with big lots the only people who made me want to come back to big lots was terry, Michael and John. There level of professionalism, there pragmatism and there sanguine attitudes goes along way ! Word of mouth goes s long way and I won’t ever tell anyone to go to big lots unless they solely want to drive to dale Mabry and deal with John and Michael. Thank you

This place makes you feel welcomed from the minute you enter the door. They greet you and want you to have a good experience. It is easy to go in and out of the store. The floor associates are eager to help you find merchandise and assist you with your shopping. The store is clean, merchandise on shelves are in order and organized. Good prices on merchandise. The only draw back is that they do not have a handicap cart nor wheel chair cart for the people that have problems with ambulation.

Been to other big lot stores not this one. It is a discontinue store. Wont have everything. Has a pretty good selection and good prices. Dont have a lot of one item. If out of something may not get it again. One of my favorite stores to get bargains.

I love Big Lots. There is everything in your wildest dreams. Candles. Cleaning supplies. Picnic stuff. Make up, facials and nails! Canned goods and snacks. Kitchen towels, table clothes and kitchen gadgets. Bath towels and shower curtains. Gazebos! And all at super reasonable prices. A must go to place...

The selection of items is astounding. Their staff, for me it was Angel, is especially friendly and efficient. Angel quickly explained their rewards program to me, acknowledged the customer behind me, made sure I had found everything I came in for, and that I was satisfied with my visit. Their prices were quite competitive & they price match, so I will return.

I just needed face masks after walking the whole store to find them in front of a random isle the one person working was taking forever so I ended up putting them back and walked out

Excellent employees. Courteous, cheerful, and helpful. Food items were a slight disappointment, as I can get large bottles of jalapeños and Tabasco sauce in Small Town, Alabama but not here. This store has more furniture and fewer food items as compared to the store I’m accustomed to. But, really good shopping experience!

Every Big Lots I go in is set up differently! I guess they do that so you walk around and spend more money. This store was very clean including the bathrooms! I love Big Lots and I love their prices, I definitely go to them long before I will go to it super Walmart!!

Great price and a lot of different things

Only one of the few big lots stores in the area. Its also the biggest in the area. They have a great selection of items and furniture. Ive bought several furniture items from this location, and the staff is always ready to help.

Love thier variety of kitchen items and the prices are reasonable. Like when they have their blankets on sale got a king so blanket for 25 bucks and lined drapes for 16 dollars a panel who is really a good deal. They have good selection of garden decor and some cool furniture. Christmas trees are a deal bought a 6.5 ft pencil tree for 79 bucks every where else it was 140. Good selection of home decor and not super expensive anywhere from vases to artwork and in between. They have nice decor drape rods, and personally better beach towels than a store they can thick larger or usually no less than 16 bucks and double fall apart I have had some since 2007 and the stick look great. They used to carry rubber maid totems for 5.95 each which is 12 bucks cheaper than Walmart. Staff is helpful and you can decorate on a budget

Last night I went to the Big Lots Britton Plaza to purchase all of my Christmas decorations . I filled my cart with decorations and other assorted toiletry and food items . I have cats, so decided on a smaller 4 foot tree that could be put on a table . They were on sale for $20 through Sunday . I looked and none of this boxed trees were on the floor . I had someone check in the back, and they were out . I asked if I could have one of the 2 display trees . He said he would ask the manager . The manager on duty, who I understand is the furniture manager approached and I told him the story and asked when more were due in . He thought Monday, but no guarantees . I explained I wanted the floor model and he told me no, we cant do that . He did not even offer a rain check and was very curt and short with me . I showed him my cart, explained I would go elsewhere to purchase the $200 of items in my cart . His response was ok . I left the cart and left the store empty handed . I called an 800 number to voice my customer service complaint, and as I write this, I have heard from no one from Big Lots . I stopped at a Big Lots in Brandon tonight and spoke to Gary, the store manager on duty, explained my concern . He had the tree in a box, but told me absolutely he would have sold me the display . He was super polite and helpful to all shoppers in the store . I pushed my cart with $170 worth of stuff in it out the door to my car . I guess business at Britton Plaza must be great if a loss of $170 means nothing . Lesson learned, dont shop where they dont appreciate my hard earned dollars . We all need to put our money where our mouth is . Merry Christmas
