I’ve been going to this vitamin store for a few years now. Chris and his staff are awesome! They help me find things, make good recommendations for products I ask about, and are very friendly. For awhile I bought the same products online and saved some money, but during the pandemic I went back to this store and despite paying a bit more, I felt it was important to support my local vitamin store… I’m done with online buying in general, preferring to support local businesses instead…

I was looking for Agar Powder. I called all over town and no one even knew what I was talking about. I made one call to Village Health Market and not only did they know what I was talking about, they told me where it was in the store. Everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable. It will be my go to place for anything health related. Thanks

The store has great variety of vitamins. I went there for ACF, Which I think is amazing to build your immunity. I learned the hard way to always tell them what medications that I am on when asking for advice So not to have any reactions.I had an personal issue,And the manager helped to resolve it

I had a very positive experience yesterday, I arrived 10 minutes before closing and I need it pain medication really bad, so I got the help I believe is from the owner, very nice and knowledgeable gentleman, it worked the medication is great.They applied a very good discount for the purchase, the cashier a young lady very nice and patient with me.Thank you,🙏 you got a faithful customer !!!!❤️

Went here today, Ive been to many many health food stores and this was hands down the nicest group of employees!! Very friendly and helpful. Although I went in for something specific they were happy to explain other options available. Pricing consistent with other stores. Overall great experience.

We are new to the area & discovered this place that was quite close to where we were this past Thursday. After spending around $80 on various items, we are dismayed to find that customer service is totally lacking once youve left the store. We found that there is absolutely no interest in responding to a customers concern at that point. We tried to speak to someone about one of their products that was simply unpalatable. The 1st person said we should call back & speak to the manager the next day. Upon reaching the manager we were told to speak to the owner... who was not there right then but would call us back. That was TWO days ago. We will not be returning to this place. In the meantime, we discovered Rolling Oats who are super responsive to any concerns & rates a 5+ star rating.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. In general I love their supplements and protein bars. they have an excellent selection of natural soaps and green items. It has such potential for the neighborhood its in... But Ive had some awful experiences as well: maggots in their frozen soup and bugs in the bulk goods. Inspect what you buy as best as you can.

Dont get turned off by the outdated decor...sure theres no shiplap, subway tile and recycled wood but the dingy Cafe in the back of the grocery store has the best breakfast and lunch items. They make everything daily and fresh. They juice everything in front of you. I love this place.Theres also this guy named Chris who is super helpful in the supplement department. Hes the encyclopedia of health/South Tampas natural healer. Tell him your ailment and he has the treatment for you.I

I walked in there to purchase a few supplements. The sales person, Christopher, offered help to find what I am looking for. After a brief search in the store, he couldnt find the items in the store and he asked me why I am looking for those specific supplements. I told him I am taking those to treat certain health issues. He asked multiple questions to find out more about it. I was about to leave, but he asked me to wait a bit so he can talk more. At the end of a 30 minute questioning, he tells me, you know what those health problems will never happen to me because I eat right and I am a vegeterian. He started saying the things he eats and drinks. Who cares what you eat and drink, dude. Who are you to tell me I didnt eat right and I got sick? People are really interesting sometimes. I am out. Never visiting that location again to avoid that kind of ridiculousness.

Village Health Market provides a cute, quaint, yet effective alternative to Whole Foods and Trader Joes. Because the store is smaller, its very easy to slip in and grab something healthy. They offer a nice variety of health foods and products and the staff there is great. Prices are competitive with WF, TJ, and other specialty food stores. And their juice bar and deli is the best around. Very good juice prices that are hard to beat. I highly recommend it!

Delicious food in the cafe and the staff is always so nice! They have a rewards program too, so that is extra! I try and visit as often as I can! Great for quite student atmosphere too!

Yes, a little pricy, but what can we expect from great quality food these days. good homeopathic remedies in bottles too.Try their deli in the back. SUPERB FOOD, many vegan and veggie options. TRY THEIR ROASTED BRUSSEL SPROUTS. nothing like uhm.
