They were a bit busy today but so worth the wait. Got the most comfortable shoes today. The guy that helped us was so understanding and listened to what I needed and gave me very good options!!!

This review is based on my experience as an employee at this specific location. This reflects nothing negative on the quality of guests that shop there or the quality of products that are sold here. The product is top notch as all HFP stores do offer an amazing RSS philosophy package for your healthy solutions. That part is a 5 * star for sure. My one star is Regional Manager and past Assistant manager related. It wasn’t always a 1 star rating. (This isnt pertaining to Owner or the past or present General Managers).Been in business for 37-38 years now they are established for sure.. but lately their slowly forgetting what past owner (sadly passed away last year ) guiding principles and values were founded on. Hopefully they will redirect their focus back to what is use to be when I was a part of their amazing team.With all this been said, I am pleased to see they have recently brought in a great addition to the staff in Joseph, Seems he has great customer service skills just by reading his reviews from this location. I used to work here years ago, and their shoes are okay, but very expensive. Also the shoes doesnt last too long it will come apart.

After my visit to this store, I felt like I had visited a gypsy gang. Sales manager Vesi has limited English skills, and she tried to sell me : 1. Shoes I didn’t ask for, 2. additional shoes with a “20.00” discount. The total with the “discount” was 200.00 over the price of just the two pairs I actually wanted. On the way out I discovered the unwanted shoes were substituted with what I actually wanted, fortunately I looked in bag in time. I asked for a refund and to start over and I must wait 4 days for the said refund now. Initially she asked mine and my husbands names and repeated them to often as a distraction from the sneaky switching going on. I felt like I visited a gypsy fortune teller who was trying to steal as much of my money as possible. Never again this location. Great product terrible customer service!,,,

I felt this place was high pressure sales than helpful. I was trying to be sold a size higher then I was because they did not have my size. They tried to sell me what I did not want like some goofy sandals that if I did not get it would be like I was going “in reverse” whatever that meant. I finally said no to the last thing that I did not even ask to buy but the guy insisted I try it on. I left out of here super disappointed.

I have been shopping here for the last 2 years, Not only is the staff helpful but they were knowledgeable on all the products and definitely helped me find a shoe that would help with my foot pain. Im on my feet most of the day and i have flat feet, Isaac one of the staff members was so helpful and really showed he cares which is a rare thing. If you are looking for a shoe or a cute pair of Birkenstocks I really recommend you go to the South Tampa Location and ask for Isaac, he will definitely find the right pair for you.Thank you Happy Feet Plus and Isaac, you guys are really helping people out..

My experience was “5-Star”... representative Joe S. was knowledgeable and detailed when presenting all of the options available to me in addition to the dad-sandal 😂. I purchased 3 items of pain relieving/corrective footwear for my metatarsalgia. If you’re considering purchasing from Happy Feet Plus this is the location and representative you’re looking for.

I visited this store to find out some information, my lower back has been hurting. I just wanted info. as of now. I spoke with Terry and Isaac they were very happy to help me and answered my questions. I explained to them that at this time I was only inquiring and not once did I feel pressured to buy. Walked in the store today and was happily greeted by the entire staff, the one employee jay really did everything he could to make sure i got the exact right fitment and shoe I needed... i can surely say with the customer service i received that i left happier than when i arrived and surely with happy feet as well.. he really went out of his way to make sure he was above and beyond friendly and helpful.

I was greeted well and received prompt service, I was the only customer at the time. Cedric took care of me and was very personable and friendly. Did the fancy foot thingy and showed me all the issues with my feet, made sense. Then sold me a $300 pair of shoes, Finn Comfort. Little on the pricey side and regretted my purchase that evening. The next day I wore the shoes and felt 100% better at the end of the day. Looking up the shoes and prices on the internet, seems I paid a fair price.

I had never been to Happy Feet before, and went in with my mother in law who speaks very little English. It was obvious that there was a language barrier and the man selling her shoes was not very polite. He was frustrated that she was not taking his advice on size and style but he did not understand what she wanted. He and another salesman shoved information at us while we were there and were upset that we were not letting them do their job, when in reality we just needed more time to process the information. To me, doing your job is being knowledgeable in your field and applying that to satisfy customers interests, not to bully someone into buying something. She had these shoes before and knew what size she was comfortable in, and if thats her decision then its up to her how to spend her money.

When you go to this store I highly recommend to talk to TERRY KELLAMS / Healthy footwear specialist. He is knowledgeable, trained, will give you proper advice and will evaluate your situation and proceed to advise you on the type of shoe you need to get. He is very patient and answered all my questions, I have referred him with my co-workers and they all have got excellent customer service.

I called another company a mile closer to my house and was put off by how the woman seemed to be rushing me off the phone so I came here after speaking with Jennifer Nguyen. She sounded friendly, helpful and most importantly, knowledgeable. She did not disappoint when I came into the store and I am very confident in my purchase. I have a lot of back issues and Jennifer suggested a shoe for me based on my complaints. My only complaint with the store and/or the shoes would be price- you will see that their shoes typically run about $10 more than the same pair online. I feel the $10 is worth the professional consult you would not get if buying online.

Insufficient help

Nice store and employees. Terrible shoes. Weve purchased 3 sets of shoes/sandals, all different brands, and all three have broken within four months with light use. They are VERY insistent on the 90 day return policy and will not replace/fix them since we were traveling when we hit the 3 month mark. So, dont go there.**Update**Received a call from HF manager after this review was posted. She asked us to bring the shoes in to take a look. The manager was able to replace one pair, send a pair in for repair, and exchange the third pair. For now, we are happy with the service addressing the problems.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Lisa. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this store. Just Wonderful!!

So rude!! Dominic was my sales Person. Started out nice, measured my feet and I told him what I wanted. Then instead of getting the shoes requested he started helping two other people that just walk in, meanwhile in waiting 25 minutes to try on a pair of shoes. I dont mind helping others but he still didnt bring out my shoes! As Im walking out they then wanted to help! Not sure how that is good customer service?? I told him Im looking for a few pairs of sandals (Birkenstocks) as I am newly pregnant and need comfort. Clearly my money isnt good there they must have too many sales and now have a sour taste. Never again!

Had a great shopping experience with Janie this week - I purchased 1 pair of shoes for a bargain price that was 50% less than any price I saw on the web, plus she threw in free shipping. Convenient location, terrific selection, lots of styles on sale, friendly service...whats not to like??

I was recommended Happy Feet by a coworker. The service was horrible. I finally laughed and told the very condescending man that I wouldn’t be back and left. If you’re there just for in soles or the scan to help figure out which in sole is right for you.. you’re wasting your time.

I bought a pair of Finn Comfort shoes in August. The service was great but!!After only five montage the $240 pair of shoes fell apart.

I bought a pair of sandals. As soon as I got home, I knew they were not what I was looking for (having a bad day). I tried to return them and the store manager suggested in a pushy manner that I look at other shoes. I thought I found another pair that would work, so did an exchange. It involved me spending $40 more, but he still treated me in a degrading manner. Again, as soon as I got home and tried them on in my own environment, I realized they had a design flaw that was a problem. After reading the review about how badly he treated another customer, I decided not to subject myself to that kind of stress and to just live with the shoes. I did not get professional help at this location. The managers idea of help is a poor job at schmoozing, and then as soon as you walk in with a return, you are the enemy. His help did not seem like she had any training. She initially fit me with narrow shoes, and I dont have a narrow foot. She only noticed it after I did, when it was pretty obvious my foot was overflowing the sandal. So, I would say go to another Happy Feet location or buy them on line from a place where you can return them. Zappos will accept free returns as many times as it takes.

I went into Happy Feet Plus as a recommendation from a coworker. Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive only because I didnt want to buy old lady shoes. But I did want relief from the pain in the ball of my foot and knee! Boy was I wrong. The ladies in there were so so welcoming and knowledgeable AND they wore super cute shoes. I felt right at home. They knew exactly how to help me and explained each step. (btw, the Kenkoh was a life saver, just get one!!). They had a huge selection of shoes too. I think Ive found my every day shoe store! I got their RSS package (Kenkoh, Sneaker, Orthodic) a work shoe, and a cute little play sandal. I felt better by the time I was walking out of the store and pain FREE in 2 days. Unbelievable. Thank you ladies...what a great experience!

After being dissatisfied with a pair of squeaky shoes, my grandmother was treated extremely poorly upon attempt to return the undesirable pair of shoes. The first time she tried to return the shoes, the shoes were given an oil treatment, and after that, the shoes still squeaked. Upon attempt to return the shoes after the treatment failed, the manager declined her claim, saying the shoes had been worn too many times. The shoes had been worn only twice, once before the initial return, and once between the oil treatment and the second return. The store manager even accused my grandmother of lying about how many times the shoes were worn, and after my grandmother citing her religion as being a reason she would never lie, the store manage incredibly said these words: I dont give a s*** what you believe and threatened to throw my grandmother out of the store. Regardless of religious affiliation, a professional retail agent would never in any circumstance speak to or treat a customer in this way.After writing a formal complaint to the owner a month ago, no response has been received. Unresponsive management and unfair treatment of the elderly is never acceptable, especially in a consumer/business environment. My grandma left the store in tears.

Most helpful staff. They really listened to my needs and wanted to truly makeMy feet better. I have the beginnings of plantar fasciitis and went in wanting to do better for my feet. I call myself the problem child because certain things that worked for other people really didnt work for me. I became their challenge and they took the challenge head on with a smile. I truly feel apart of their family and will always buy my shoes from them. Ps. When they try to sell you the Kenkoh shoes, BUY THEM!! I was hesitant at first but, after a few times of going in and still having problems I realized that those shoes are like magic for your feet!! Do not buy anything from HF, they sold me defective Birkenstocks and will not give me a refund or a replacement pair....horrible business!
