This was my first time going to Off Broadway Diner, so glad I did!! Restaurant is bigger then it looks from outside. It extremely clean and well cared for restaurant. I got mushroom and broccoli omelet and my boyfriend got the Irish Benni. It was absolutely prefect!! Food was fresh and portions were great! I ate half my omelet before I took picture. Waitresses were great, very nice and friendly! I will definitely be going back for breakfast or lunch!!

Potatoes tasted old. But the Jash was bomb! And coffee is strong!

Excellent home fries and bacon+sausage. Eggs cooked well and pancakes are very thick and generous. Pleasant staff limited seating due to covid.

Had steak & eggs with marble rye and home fries. Coffee. Everything was excellent; my sincere admiration to the cook, the breakfast steak wasnt too thick (it shouldnt be, in the first place), but he hit right in between medium and medium rare, which was my order. Most breakfast steaks arent really juicy, but this one was - most excellent.Eggs were over easy and I dipped my marble rye in the yolks. Fries were okay. Coffee was excellent.The service was top notch: friendly, courteous and professional.I made sure I overtipped.Opens at 6:00 am!

I cannot say enough good things about this diner. great food all around. you got to come here for great breakfast.

If I could give less stars I would. Walked in this morning 9:00 wasn’t greeted for 2 mins. Once I was nothing but condescending behavior from both ladies working. Like if you don’t like your job then quit. Your attitude should never change no matter the flow of the restaurant. I have never had sick bad service in my life.

Food is great service is excellent and most importantly the food is cheap great place to go for a date or have the whole family

I was in the diner on fathers Day and I have to say there was a waitress her name was demetria .she was so on top of everything she came out to keep us updated on the seating .offered my family coffee while waiting as I watch on she is cleaning tables going around filling coffee for other customers .she was a pleasure to our family and as busy as it was she went around checking on tables also taking orders so no one had to wait . They should hirer more like her just by what I saw she works hard and goes above and beyond for the customers.i will definitely be coming back and telling others about this amazing diner .& Might I add the food was excellent .

A Taunton institution! Came here with two friends at 6:30 AM on a recent Wednesday morning. Service was prompt, and the coffee was great! I had a poached egg on wheat toast with spinach and tomatoes. Didnt know that it came with homefries, but that was a welcomed addition.

Their Portuguese Benny is something *different* (in the best possible way). Food and service were A+ and we’ll be back next time we’re in the area :)

This place is great for a small, family-friendly dining experience. Love the owner, loved the food, hardworking waitstaff. Been there five times and havent found a menu item that was not VERY good!

The breakfast was good as always, Ive been coming since moving to the area 5 years ago. My uncle (very impatient & critical) came up from Acushnet/ New Bedford area where Im from & I took him here. Waitstaff come & go & some are better than others, Ive been a waiter numerous times so to base one below par visit 2 stars isnt fair. I hadnt seen this waitress before so I explained she could be new but being the pessimist he is pointed out what she left our food on the counter getting cold to wipe table down (because he decided to move) and began doing other things lol) He has no patience so I stated at least we have a waitress because every business is hiring because nobody wants to work, and mind you she was the only waitress working but no it wasnt very busy. This restaurant is good I highly recommend it.

The breakfast I got was great. Everything on my plate was amazing. Then there was the biscuits and gravy. it was ok, but it tasted weird, Im not sure if it was because it was the last of it or it was over cooked.

This is a great place to grab breakfast or lunch.i like to go around 10:30 and the greatest part is you can have eggs and toast or burgers and fries,or you can get a home cooked meal.the people that own and work here are good family people.single dads .they get up every morning and take care of their kids then get off to work and I dont think they realize but this makes them great cooks.who else could serve food that will make everyone at the table happy and I guarantee what ever you decide to order will taste good.to me this place is as all American as it gets.oh Im sorry I didnt mention the waitress.she is the cherry on top.thank you off Broadway diner.

Theyre back! Theyve been back for a month but we just stopped in. Facility is super clean and staff has always been respectful and mindful of the table. Theyre back to serving up their breakfast bests! Linguica anything is to die for!

They have a wide variety of foods on their menu my fav is the Portuguese chicken sandwich with rice and extra sauce

Being nice to give 2 stars. Sat right down then 10 to 15 minutes to have table wiped down and get coffee. Saw some customers walk out. Waitress Mary working hard, lady at counter and tables by door not paying attention.Good coffee once you get it, food not what it used to be. Always long wait to get cheque.

Had a full bowl of chowder and full Monte cristo sandwich and fries for $6.99 and it was delicious. Been there a number of times and never been disappointed.

Great little spot off Taunton Green. Reasonably priced and food was delicious. I had the the Portuguese Scrambler (or something like that) with scrambled eggs, onions and Portuguese spicy sausage with toast. Daughter had grilled bagel. Coffee was good, too. Server friendly and helpful, but couldve brought coffee around more often.

We love going here Sunday mornings. Very attentive to there customers. Greeted immediately with a smile and seated within seconds. You never have to ask, they are always making sure your coffee is full and your served promptly. No rush. Always just perfect. Just like home, but no dishes to wash. I look forward to it each Sunday

I only gave a 3 because I recently came here on a weekday with my father and son and the food and service was good. But for today they get a 1 star rating. Im hoping because its a holiday, this is the only reason why the service was slow. We waited a long time for our food. The server gave our food to another table and then brought it to us saying it was hot when it wasnt. The pancakes are very dense so I would recommend only ordering 1. There was a long hair inside of my sons pancake. Our coffee cups were empty for a long time and normally people walk by filling them up when they are half full. I had to ask another waitress for a refill. Very disappointed. The lady only offered to take off our 3 drinks. We wont be returning.

Service was prompt. Servers were pleasant but running around frenzied and frazzled. Not really sure why, it was a steady Saturday but their behaviour made it feel more stressful than it truly was. The food was good; I ordered the hungry diner eggs over easy, bacon and sausage were all delicious but the Texas French toast lacked flavor and the syrup was bland and inexpensive. Overall; I enjoyed the meal but I would not order the French toast again. Prices were very reasonable and the patrons represented people from all walks of life so I felt very comfortable there.

We go for breakfast there which is very good. Prices and portions are great. Try it. Youll live it! 👍

I wanted to like it here. Being a local joint and its close to where we live but after several times of something being off we just cant go back. The syrup is not good. Too sweet and thick. If you get sat in a certain section you get forgotten about. The waitress seems to hang by the food window and doesnt come to check on you. The runner (drink guy) ended up helping us (noticing us) more than our waitress. Also the food is inconsistent. It seems like one day a different person made the food than the last. I had a delicious omelet one day and a couple weeks later went back ordered the same omelet. It came out missing and ingredient and was over cooked and just no where near as good as the one Id had before. Overall wont be back.

One of the best breakfasts Ive ever had. The chicken Portuguese omelette was outstanding. And the sauce that comes in it has just the right amount of kick. Wait staff could not have been friendlier and service was prompt. If youre in the Taunton area and looking to eat definitely one of the best places to go.

Great stop for breakfast! Prices are good & the food always is great. Lunch looks like it would be great too. Great for families. They can accommodate larger groups downstairs but I would recommend calling first especially on a weekend

Amazing food.....breakfast in particular

This is a cozy old school neighborhood diner. The staff here are great. Theyre nice people and they treat everyone like theyre a regular. My family had been here just a few times and just recently visited after a few months. They remembered us and even noted the addition to our party (my visiting niece). The food is simple and homey. Nothing fancy but it tastes good and sticks to your ribs.

Everything was delicious, we were in and out within an hour at peak lunch time.The chicken Mozambique was AMAZING as was the Portuguese steak sandwich. Staff was friendly and price was around $10/plate.

I was surprised at my experience considering the good reviews. Waited 15 before even being approached. Watched 2 tables that sat after get greeted right away. We had to ask for our waitress. Waited way too long for eggs, hash and potatoes. (30-40min?) The homemade hash was no better than canned. And the potatoes were way over seasoned and not edible. Every thing mush. Even the OJ tasted more like tang.

Beautiful little diner. They treat you like youre home right when you sit down. The food tasted great, I only waited THREE MINUTES! And there were a good chunk of customers here. Will definitely be back here

Was meeting a very good friend for lunch. Great little place...I got the Eggs Benedict and my friend got the Monte Cristo sandwich, and we were both quite pleased. My hashbrowns and his fries were also good. The staff, especially the owner, whom we actually spoke with, were very friendly. For a great diner experience for breakfast or lunch, I highly recommend!

Fantastic food, but even more than that is the atmosphere - the staff is friendly & smiling, each server would stop to ask if I needed anything (regardless of whether I was in their section), the service was exceptional. Service such as you would expect from a 5 star restaurant (but rarely get). I am beyond impressed & will definitely be back.

I had come here 2 days ago and came back again to see if it was a fluke lol NOPE! Great steak and eggs, omelettes on point-i ordered my lunch while eating my breakfast. Excellent. Ill give five stars to some local breakfast place when I get a good cup of coffee. Alas too many drink it for the high than the flavor so itll probably never happen. I would prefer that over a bottomless cup. Otherwise food is delicious and everyone very friendly.

Ive been here several times. Very friendly staff - they take really good care of my elderly father there . This time, I had a super creative special omelete - steak tip one (never seen it before and it was superb). Very happy there.

Awesome great food

The wife and I popped in here on a whim one day, while the pups were at the groomer. It was ok. The staff were a little inattentive, and while the food was adequate, it wasnt particularly imaginative. Its your typical run-of-the-mill greasy spoon. But if you want some eggs and a hot cup of coffee, itll scratch the itch.

Awful. Hamburg had a bad odor. Corned beef reuben was dripping with grease. All done with this place...take a walk up Main Street and go to Stephanies....its so worth it!

I got the chocolate chip pancakes and I wasnt too impressed. The staff was very nice, but we waited a bit for our food and the restaurant was missing the home-town charm that I was hoping it would have. Im a big fan of Joes Diner, and this place just wasnt as good.

I just got here from another diner. At the other one, we sat there for 20 minutes without even a hello! As soon as we got to Off Broadway, we were welcomed and the service was friendly and fast, even with a full house. Thank you for not making is feel alien.Update: the food is amazing! The breakfsst is so dam good its unreal.. its my favorite place to eat breakfast... and the waitress Amanda is amazing always on point and works really hard..

OMG!!!! What a gem of a place! It was my 2nd time here for breakfast ( a simple, standard eggs, toast,homefries) and I can say the customer service was outstanding. The staff remembered me, despite being here only once before, the bathrooms were immaculate (both times), and the food and service was exceptional!! I highly recommend this wonderful establishment to all! Thank you Off Broadway Diner for a memorable experience!!! Definitely will be back!

Breakfast is not worth subjecting yourself to the clientele. Watched one guy hit his 2yo and knock him on the floor. Staff asked me not to call the pd. No one did a thing. Mother may work there. Taunton sucks
