I usually prefer this place but waited patiently just kind of hovering around the counter waiting for the attendee to finish ringing up people. As soon as that was done someone else walking in and got help before me. It was a younger woman and her friend Im 44 and male. Not sure if that was a factor but still not cool that I waited for about 10 minutes in front, and was passed over. Went to Ulta instead and got greeted at the door immediate got help and got my stuff.

I was Christmas shopping for my wife and was having a really hard time when I spotted one of your employees, Wendy and asked her to help me. She dropped what she was doing and assisted me. Not once but three times. She took what started out to be a miserable shopping day and made it a very nice experience. Thank you Wendy.

I was reminded as to why I never shop here anymore a few weeks ago. I wanted a particular shade and brand of lipstick only sephora carries. Unfortunately this is the closest location to me. There was only myself and another customer in the store at the time. I found my lipstick and proceeded to check out. The lady in front of my had a return and was nothing but polite to the staff member named Bobbie who had a scowl on her face the entire time. The customer doing the return explained how she wanted to return something that made her skin breakout. Bobbie was snappy and snarly saying they dont carry it anymore and that it has to be thrown away.Bobbie had spotted me waiting patiently for my turn and snapped at her coworker would you ring her up this is going to be awhile. She said that with such venom I was glad the other girl rang me up. I honestly didnt mind waiting my turn I was in zero rush so her comments about the return were rude and unnecessary.Where I work I am a manager and I would never dream to speak to a customer the way she did or make her feel bad for returning something. Especially because the customer was nothing but polite and kind. I truly think Bobbie needs retrained or let go. I will not be returning to this location and will just stick to Ulta from now on.

Such a weird, awkward experience compared to Ulta. Wanted to find a color match, told the associate I do love one brand she suggested but there is no color that matches me in it. I told her what I’m looking for. She just kind of stared at me? I tried a foundation, I was trying to decide if it matches and she was about ready to walk away. I asked her to try another kind, then she layered it on top of the other foundation instead of giving me something to take it off?! It just felt so weird and like I was a burden being there. I took samples home but it was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. As I was about to leave, I had to request something to remove the foundations from my face...

Went in to get a foundation Ive been wanting for so long. Manager was super helpful and friendly. She helped me find my shade, gossiped about her love of make up with me, and even gave me a sample of the best color correcting product Ive ever tried.

My SO had a $150 digital gift card. We were basically ignored by the one staff personal in the small section located in JCPENNEY -which was hard because we were almost behind her in the male section so she eventually moved. She was literally watching something on her peronsal ipad -I could see AND HEAR her watching it. Had to talk over it.No cares given. We were the only customers in this tiniest Sephora Ive ever been in and the one person that could help us had to be directed to help us by us. There werent others in the room to distract her. She simply didnt do her job. We did ask for a recommendation on the few malecolognes and she was able to provide a good recommendation..but we had to ask her after it was so obvious we needed help. We will never go back.Their male section is about 6 feet long and the whole place is affiliated with JCPENNEY and not compliant with all gift cards -we got lucky. Been to 12 oaks so many time before moving to this area, you have to tell people to let you be alone other wise you can get sample sets (not one sample set recommendations based on your preference etc.) None of that at this location or was never offered. Last minute she tells us our gift card might not work... it was my SO birthday. We spent 200 dollars there and were regretting it because we were stuck with sephora gift card at that point. I hope she got nothing from it because she was lolly gagging around, watching tv on her ipad while we were right next to her in the tiniest male section//sephora trying to pick out something. She was still friendly and when dragged down and asked for recommendations we loved her one and only recommendation.Also the prices of the same colognes were up to 20 dollars cheaper on Amazon.

Rude staff..They rejected to let me try perfume samples..In fact they made me buy the samples for 70$ (to get the perfume you need later)..I realized later that all of the them are after toilet sprays that disappear in minutes and not a genuine perfume!

I walked in to get my free birthday gift. No one was in line so I didnt have to wait. 3 employees were behind the counter talking. They all 3 looked at me and just continued talking. I just stood there looking dumb. As I was about to say something one girl FINALLY said, Can I help you? like I was a bother. I told her why I was there and she assisted me, rudely. She seemed nervous and not confident. I never got a happy birthday or even have a nice day once the transaction was finished. I then bet my husband once I walk over to Ulta for my birthday gift from there that they would treat me better and even tell me happy birthday. When I walked into Ulta it was literally the same thing. No one in line and 3 employees behind the counter talking. Well I was standing in line trying to pull up my email for the employees. One employee saw me and walked up to me from behind the counter and asked if I had a question. I told her I was here for my gift and she helped me. Talking to me through the whole transaction and asked if today was my birthday. I told her yes. And she says so happily, Omg well happy birthday! I hope you enjoy your pallet. The customer service was so much better and didnt make me feel out of place. Im very disappointed.

Ordered the limited edition Anastasia Nicole glow kit because it wasnt in stock in the store. My reciept in my email along witb confirmation said i was Going to receive that palett. I recieved a different one. I am more mad that i wasted 6 days waitinf for a product and it wasnt what i ordered.

There is not much help in this store . Some employees are real rude . Only 3 employees in there are excellent . Kristyn goes out of her way to help . Overall, the store sucks and lacks customer service with the exception of those 3 employees.
