First off, take pics & vids of your vehicle!Inside & out!Wheel alignment includes the steering wheel.Received vehicle back the second time with grease on steering wheel, shifter, both door handles & threshold with boot scuffing. Was told of broken parts, one was not broken two days earlier but it happens the other was common I knew of.Whole $80 alignment ended up costing $2478.$218 on a repair, $80 more on professional alignment & $2100 in body damage.David Hyland,Feel lucky, we only give one chance, you got two.A third will not be given, you have been permanently“Banned”

Hello, brought in car because timing belt light came on. dave is very smug. they call you to tell you, they found something else want more money. but they dont call you when their agent gives wrong part and dave doesnt bother to call you to say they made mistake. I did go in very angry because I lost day of work I go to work at 2am. I dont work normal hours . And flight crew was inconvenienced . I told them that we needed car back quickly. communicate with your customer.

I have been here several times for three vehicles. Each time I am impressed with the accuracy of the diagnosis and repair. The estimates are fair and the turnaround from in and out of the shop is quick. As per usual, I drop off my vehicle in the morning and receive an estimate for repair before end of day.

Very disappointed with the work. Brought car in for a loud grinding noise and was told it was due to my power steering leaking even though there was no leaks, which I addressed at time of service.After a $1150 Bill to replace all the hoses because it was all apart of one piece the grinding continued and was I told fluid needed to keep moving around. After a week of the same problem continuing I brought it to a mechanic around the corner and it was a missing bolt in the brakes with was fixed for $80. This place has great reviews and are very friendly but I’m frustrated I’m out $1150 for a different problem then I brought it in for.

I setup an appointment for 1:30pm Tuesday last Friday. When I went to drop off my car this morning. They said your appointment was at 8am. So they changed the appointment time without notifying me and then didnt offer a new appointment or anyway to make it right.

I really cant say enough good things about this place. They are kind, honest, and reliable. They dont take advantage of people who dont know cars. They take the time to explain things. They dont over charge. I hope that they continue to be successful, I dont ever want to take my car anyplace else.

I took my car in for an oil change about a week ago and I had a great experience. I’m so happy I finally found a shop that truly cares about my needs. Staff was fantastic from the time I stepped in the door to the time I left. They truly made sure I was taken care of! Ask for Marcio he was great!

I was referred by a friend to Hyland when I needed to have my brake serviced, and I will absolutely be coming back for all future services as well. The entire staff here provided the most positive experience I’ve ever had with an auto repair facility. Jay worked with my schedule, got me to work on time, and made me feel like he genuinely cared about my situation. He was also honest and transparent about the work that needed to be done and how quickly I needed to address the other issues discovered during my vehicles inspection. I’m not sure who my technician was, but he did a wonderful job and my brakes feel better than when I first purchased the car. Though it may seem small and simple, they even replaced my taillight which I never mentioned when I dropped off my car, and that little gesture left a lasting impression on me. These guys are the only ones I’ll be trusting with my car from now on!

Owner personally talks with you and show you the items on your car that might need repair or replacement sometime in the future. This place ROCKS!Below is my review from last year and here is updated info from last month 2018! I was in a car wreck and a speeding motorcycle ran into my car while I was waiting at a corner to turn. Photos show before and after repairs. I called Hylands on their cell phone and they came to the scene of the accident, ready to take charge to fix the car and called an Uber to take me home. They started the next day with the car repair and orchestrated all the repairs with the body work and engine and tires and other technical stuff I dont understand. They personally handled the communication with the insurance company and adjuster and other vendors and fixed the car to look like new! You can trust the owners with whatever car issue you have... this place is above and beyond an ordinary car repair joint... these are the real pros. TRUST THEM!!! CALL THEM!!!Last years 2017 post: Dave Hyland has been my mechanic for several years and hes amazing and his whole family. He knows how to research and stay in tune with whats happening with your car. He has saved me a lot of money just by properly diagnosing problems and never charged me for those services, just the actual work he does. One of a kind shop with very friendly people. After going to 4 different shops/mechanics & being told my FJ needed a new rack & pinion I started preparing for the large cost. But this shop saved me from $1300 as it turns out I had malfunctioning wheel spacers & just needed a proper alignment! Couldn’t be more grateful I’m definitely going back for all my future car needs.

Another dishonest repair shop. I took my truck in with air conditioning issues and explained to them that I believed there to be a simple leak in the fill valve and wanted them to evaluate. They proceeded to tell me that I needed to replace the ENTIRE AC system for $1200. I was skeptical and went somewhere else for a second opinion. I was able to get the issue fixed in 20 minutes for $80 elsewhere. Very disappointed with the level of dishonesty and sheer audacity at Hyland and would highly recommend avoiding this shop.

Jay is an amazing Honest mechanic. i asked him to replace an item in my car that was around 800$. after his shop mechanics took a look that wasn’t even a problem he saved me $800. he replaced only his recommendations and i had really next day service. Quite literally the best car experience Ive had in my life. I encountered three of the most pleasant people in the car repair industry in Arizona, hands down. Ive finally found a reliable place for car repairs!

I originally came to the shop a bit distraught from being told multiple things from a few other shops, Dave immediately offered help and guidance, explaining every step of the way. All of the staff was welcoming, and it was nice to see the family pups there to welcome all the guests! Thank you to Hyland for making my day much better than expected!

Fair and competent, Tom and Dave are both very nice and easy to work with. My only issue is that leaving my car overnight for service allowed for security problems. Someone had tried to hot wire and steal my car. Due to the type of repair my auto required, the perp. Was unsuccessful at stealing the car but the dashboard was pulled out and parts had been removed from the car. I would recommend service as long as you can get in and out of the shop in the same day.

First time bringing me vehicle in David took care of me and my concern even though they were booked. Turns out it was something super simple that I probably should have caught on my own. Nevertheless he was very professional. Will definitely bring my other vehicle in when its time to be serviced.Thanks again David! I never write reviews unless I receive exceptional service. I met Dave Hyland about 14 years ago when searching for a good place to take my vehicle for repairs. Id been screwed over by previous shops and had a natural distrust of automotive shops. Until one day when I walked into a shop being run by Dave Hyland who was always friendly and treated every customer like family. Over time I realized how honest and trustworthy Dave was. Id come in for service thinking my car needed expensive repairs and Dave would come back with a repair estimate that was way cheaper than I was expecting and he never tried to upsell me on unneeded repairs or parts I didnt need. Then I discovered one day that Dave had left his position as manager of Sun Devil Auto and left to start his own shop. Was very glad that Dave is still in the automotive industry and that he runs an honest and friendly establishment just like he did when working for someone else. I tell anybody who is seriously looking for a great dependable and honest repair shop to visit Dave at Hyland Auto Repair. Theres a reason why his shop has constant five star reviews. When customers and employees follow a great manager (now owner) to a new location that tells you something about how a shop should be run.

I got stranded by the side of the freeway, with only 20 min to make it to work on time. I called an uber and i searched online for a repair shop near by . Lucky i found this shop. They made everything super easy and convenient. I was able to get my car towed and fixed before i even went on my lunch. All without having to leave the office or be late for work. I had my wife pick up the car and they were straight shooters and didn’t try any funny business. I had a great experience. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone.

I could not even believe how amazing Dave was and his team. I was so worried, I just got my new ride, and squeak went the brakes. An amazing friend told me to go see these guys, and wow! They joked and laughed to make me feel more at ease, checked out my whole vehicle not just the brakes, and told me they hope they dont see me anytime soon, my truck is in great shape(I have never had a shop at least try to say something minor is wrong to get some $$). Brought in my 2004 Dodge Dakota to to Hyland about month ago to replace a faulty crankshaft position sensor and replace my brake rotors and brake pads. The staff was very knowledgeable and did excellent work. I would highly recommend Hyland.

Hyland Auto Repair is an honest straightforward shop. They fix all my vehicles and my families vehicles. Ive trusted all of my auto repair work to Dave and he has never disappointed. Great customer care, accurate quotes, and timely work are a few of the reasons I keep coming back.

I came to this shop after Ive been quoted (from other shops) that I needed a new axle, thermostat, and new serpentine belt.They brought it up on the lift, showed me and explained that the axle is fine, and the belt just needed to be tightened, they saved me ~300 on repairs.Theyre pretty quick, super friendly and efficient. Id recommend them to anyone who needs maintenance.

Dave and Andrew and the rest of the staff are polite, knowledgeable, and honest. If it doesnt need to be done right away they will tell you and if it is an expensive part or repair they will try to find a better price. Now open on Saturdays.

The work was done right and the bill was what was estimated. Dave also mentioned a problem with the AC, which I chose to put off. The morning before a long road trip the AC failed more or less as predicted. We took our vehicle in and they jumped right on it and got us on the road. You wont be dissapointed with their work.
