Awesome Customer Service for starters. I install 2 Kicker L7s a Power Rockford Fostgate 4 channel, a Kicker 1200 RMS amp, all door speakers were done with hush mat on the doors, a LC7 with a Epicenter. Everything is in harmony and works flawlessly with no problems. Definitely a shop and staff Id refer to do business with. Hunter and his team made it happen. Clearly they can do it all!! Oh, not to mention they only had my truck a day n a half!!! 2019 GMC Sierra! This is my 2nd vehicle and I will continue to bring my whips to the Tempe location!!!

Im giving this review three stars simply because even though the installation of our equipment was superb. Our first meeting with the salesperson it wasnt very comfortable. He seemed to be more about the money they would be making rather than what we really wanted lets just say the pressure on the upgrade was a little high. Also a kind of take it or leave it attitude. Our appointment was at 10:00 a.m. we were there at 9:30 to talk to them and drop the car off and they told us insulation would be 3 to 4 hours. Mind you it was not quite 10:00 a.m. when we dropped off the car it was 3:00 p.m. when we picked up our vehicle. My husband went in paid for the car and walked back out. There was no walk through to say what they did or to show off the work that they did. This was my husbands first experience of audio Express but not mine. In the past years I have bought lots of equipment from audio Express and they have always come out to my car see what I had and then we went in to see what they could do for me. After installation they walked me out and that showed me the difference of what the changes were. Always went very well. And thats whats leading me to my review of the installation they did for us.

Great customer service! Finished the job quickly and my radio works perfectly.

The sales person was nice.But whoever worked on my car did not do anything correctly.The remote did not work properly for the first time.After they re-finished it later, I went home and I realized that they screwed up wires. Even the buttons on driver sides dashboard did not work correctly.Also some other features did not work as explained in the manual.I had to go back to again next day.These mistakes are very easy to avoid if they confirm that customers car works properly or no every time after they finish their job.It shows how these technicians work at Audio Express.I am truly disappointed.This is the 2nd time for me to have this Audio Express to get job done since I had a good experience almost 10 years ago.However I dont think Ill have them to do it again in the future since they did not offer me anything for apology.I wasted my time and I could not go to work on time next day due to this issue.

Terrible experience I would not record to anyone. I was buying a deck and new speakers for my sons birthday. Showed them the car and paid 680 for the deck and speakers then two hours later get a call they need 180 more because they didn’t know the car needed additional parts. They had the attitude like pay or come get it. So I paid an extra 180 because they don’t know what they need up front. Surprised my son for his birthday next day the door panel falls off. So I take back they say the forgot to put the clips back on apologize and fix it. It’s been month now the door panel is coming off in a different spot, one side of the deck housing has come loose and wires have come out from the side where your feet go behind the dash. For almost a thousand dollars it is the worst workman ship and will never go back.

Got me quick!! Love em. Had multiple systems installed throughout the years. This time there is damage to the dash. A corner was cut away and left dash looking not.like how it looked when I brought it in. Its a issue but not do or die issue. Remember when you have system.installed check too see if damage was made. They might tell you or they might not. In this case they decided not to inform me.

Audio Express is a top notch operation. I have been getting my cars hooked up there for over 10 years. I recently went in due to a blown amp and four busted speakers. As usual, Sean and his staff got my car sounding better than ever. What impresses me the most is the customer and the knowledge of the products they sale. Not just Sean but Hunter and others as well. What really impressed me is that they remembered the equipment, the custom made three speaker fiber glass box they built for me three years ago when I told them the make, model and color of my car! Very impressive! I appreciate you guys! That is money well spent!

Regardless the install was perfect and the stereo I purchased is perfect for what I need thanks to the advice of the employee that assisted me. I will return with more money.

Horrible experience I went to but the kit for my subs and we were talking about my amp that requires 4 Guage wire and I went to install it later that evening and it was the wrong kit which had the 8 Guage wire so therefore I had to wait a whole nother day before I got to install my system it was an unnecessary set back that could have easily been and should have been avoided wont go there again I went to the one in PHX on 75th Ave and Thomas and they gave me exactly what I needed with no hassle at all I will definitely come to that one from now on

I had them install a cd player with speakers they broke the inside of my door by the door handle trying to put speakers in they said they would fix it.Its been abt a month and still never heard back.

Audio Express had a challenge to update the stereo system and blown speakers in our older model German 2 seater performance vehicle. It required special parts and re-wiring. Dale and his team did an amazing job with what other audio places told me couldn’t be done. I’m thrilled with the results. Dale was incredibly professional and kept me in the loop. I highly recommend this shop for any audio installation needs.

Went in to look for a nice head unit to upgrade to, staff was super friendly and helpful, techs had the unit installed in about an hour and a half. I’ll be going back when I take on a larger project.

Went to audio express on saturday dropped my car off at 9am got it back by 1pm it was done at 1230 tho and the guy forgot to call hahah not a big deal however I noticed they did not put my liner back in properly and broke some of the clips I will be back to have them fix it and hopefully they do without charging me also they smashed one of the wheel covers its only cardboard but before I took it to them my car was perfect in back no I gotta figure out how to fix that

After having an awful experience at the Bell location (I live in Prescott and arrived on the day I was told (they were not able to install same day) I was informed that even though I was there when they opened the door, as advised by the gentleman who sold me the unit, they would not be able to do my install) I was sent to the Tempe location 27 miles away because the stores closer couldn’t install the head unit either.So, I’m in a foul mood when I get to the Tempe location, but they get my car right in. At the Bell location, they said it would take all day, if they could do it, which they couldn’t. With that knowledge, I arranged a car to use. Low and behold, it only took them a little over an hour to install everything, and the install, including the Bluetooth mic looks amazing.The associate was very nice in showing me the functionality as well.When people do their jobs competently they get five stars.

Sold me a supposedly universal bluetooth receiver for one of my cars (a 2007 Jag XK), only its not, and they have a no return/refund policy that leaves me $150 lighter. Found something at a different audio store, Sound Image, on W. Camelback Rd., that works flawlessly, and for $70 less. F--K Audio Express!!

I had terrible experience with these guys in 2013. They literally butchered the electrical systems on my Cadillac Deville and my Nissan Altima as well as my Camaro at the time. Ive since sold all vehicles, but not without making numerous repairs to all electrical systems. I went to audio express for all my car audio since 1988 starting in Tucson.(They were excellent in Tucson) But I will NEVER, EVER, use them again or recommend them to anyone. They had backyard installers with no experience installing high end equipment in high end vehicles that shouldnt have been even asked to change a lightbulb in a lamp....By the way, the butchering to my electrical systems occurred at the Tempe on Scottsdale rd. location in case the owner is confused. And audio express was in Tucson in 1988. It doesnt matter if my name is no longer in your system. I still have receipts and the bad memories........

I got my girl a bass package here for her Elantra and unfortunately my 10 kicker blew in 9 days lol but I went in this morning and Dale got me a new sub for free and it didnt even interfere with my 12m warranty. It was pretty cool honestly I walked in and no questions asked besides for my phone number and the car keys. Left in about 15 or 20 minutes with my system back

$1,500.00 for kenwood 4 doors speakers an amp and wiring. No subs or box. I Was completly lied to and waay overcharged, talk about rip off never going back to this store ever again, be sure you ask for a breakdown of prices on your receipt before you pay!

Without going into too much detail, these guys were awesome. Ive been to a handful of car audio shops over the past few years but this place takes the cake. They have a good crew here that genuinely want to help you get what you want, not pushy or anything like that. In the end, they helped me get my car sounding exactly like i need it and got a customer for as long as I can foresee. Be sure to ask for Sean, Kristian, Beyden or Barry. I called audio express today after work to see if they could possibly find out what was wrong with my stock radio. I was hoping to get it fixed or get a new one. I spoke to Aaron and he was great! I got there just before 5:30 and was greeted by Chad. I can not remember the guys name who fixed my radio but it started with a D or B :) I was out in less than 30 minutes and the service was only $60. I wouldve tipped him but I didnt have any cash :( They did not try and sell me additional products but I did ask questions about other services and Chad was very knowledgeable. Aaron noticed that my oil cap was missing (break masters doesnt know how to put oil caps back on after they change oil) and I thought that was wonderful!!! I dont usually look under my hood so I probably wouldnt have known. I would say that everyone in there was extremely friendly and efficient. I would recommend this place to anyone, NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL :) I LEFT A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER. I was so happy to have my radio back after 4 months! I will definitely go back with any future audio needs.

Call the manger...I called before, made an appointment and was their first customer after the Covid closure, I was quote 2-3 hours on the phone, in store it turned in 4-6 hours, 5.5 hours later they called, it was ready.After two 10$ Lyft rides back and forth, they could not get the Autostart to lock and unlock or properly function. 3 techs and another 2 hours I was told they could not fix it. I left it overnight 😭10 more dollars and a 20 min wait for the Uber in prime time traffic. Thanks guys.Not very apologetic and nothing offered to compensate for time, money wasted (not to mention having to hang out outside during a outbreak, just saying)

I just picked up some speakers for my car and needed them installed, I called in and my boy HUNTER answered provided me with details and when they were able to take my car in for an install, he made sure I had what I needed for the install and made sure i got the best out of my speakers and provided what was more efficient. Great knowledgeable staff. They helped me try to find a larger stereo for my 2002 truck, which they had and would have been nice, but I settled on a smaller unit and am very happy with it! Key thing: They listened well to what I wanted and needed.

Damian took really good care of me. Speakers were not connected and he checked them out so I didnt have to pay for new speakers and only charged me 45 for the labor when I couldve spend over 200 for new ones.

I brought my car in to swap a regular touch screen radio for my navigation system. I intially waited about 3 hours and they told me that they werent able to get everything done and would need the car again so I told them to keep my car and I would pick it up the next day that way they werent rushed and could troubleshoot. I was called the next day and told the car was ready to pick up and on the way home discovered they did not reconnect the air conditioning ribbon and the air bag light was on. I was on my lunch break so I couldnt turn around immediately so I had to go back again that night. That night I was there another 2 1/2 hours before everything was finally done right.

First off i wanted to say how grateful for the experience i had. I was greeted by Jason Madison, he thoroughly helped me find the right system and the brand for premium sound and engaged in excellent customer service to make my shopping the very best it could have been. Two thumbs up to this young man for going the extra mile to truly serve every customer.

This place and its employees are AMAZING! Not only did they help me pickout great subs, but after I blew a fuse and had to go back four days later, they replaced it and surprised me by fixing my hood latch. These guys are FANTASTIC!!! Definitely going back and would highly recommend!

I have a 2004 car and due to the Arizona sun the radio kit housing completely crumbled. First, to my surprise, they carried a kit that fit so that was a huge bonus but when I got home I couldnt figure it out. I went back in and described the situation to the gentleman. He knew what I needed which was a metal bracket to connect the radio to the kit. Sure enough it worked but the coolest part was the fact that he showed me how to do and the bracket was on the house even when I offered him a few bucks. I figured the least I could do is write a great review and say Id definitely go back. Both guys I dealt with were very nice and very easy to talk to. When I need something in the future Ill go back.

I’m really disappointed in my recent purchase. I bought a remote start system for a 2016 Santa Fe SUV and 2 months later it stops working. At first, I had a hood error on the FOB, then a “zzz” error and then the FOB went dead, and later my actual car battery died. It really is frustrating to not be able to use my remote start in the hot summer, which is why I wanted it in the first place. I took it back to them so they can fix today and hopefully it will be fixed for good. I feel like I’m being fair in giving 2 stars because they are re-doing the installation.

My experiences at other Audio Express locations have been at best sub-par. But after working with Reggie I must say Im very impressed. Reggies customer service skills and concern for customers is admirable and he is the reason I will continue to bring my vehicle to Audio Express for my audio and alarm needs. Keep up the solid work.

I must be a ghost. Went in. No one even said hi. 5 or 6 guys working. Looked around. I even went to the counter where there was two guys helping people even then no one said Ill be right with you or hi?? Go somewhere else.

Overall if youre going to look at something in person, Audio Express is probably a pretty cool place to do it. They have a bunch of displays with all kinds of tech that you can mess around with and decide whether or not you like. What I wouldnt do though is rely on there expertise in the matter, and you should definitely expect to be gauged when it comes to the pricing. I just think I got a new guy, but he didnt even know how to check how much the wiring harness I needed to install an in-dash system would have been. Combine that with the fact that on Amazon the wiring harness was $30, and they wanted to charge me almost $150 and you have a good idea what youre dealing with. Overall the place is cool, the prices arent.

Hunter wants grade shot me a price a little higher than I was hoping for but I agree to it and they got it taken care of and it wasnt even a stereo issue it had to do with my lighter charger so they ran a new wire and in that wire has a few so if something happens again itll be easier to get to. Thank you Hunter and Im going to think about the alarm
