Excellent service,professional,very helpful,courteous. I was in need of a new set of speakers for my 2002 Toyota,wasnt looking to spend a lot of $ on my older Hooptie, drove by the business the day before and thought I would check them out the next day. So I go in thinking Saturday would be theyre busiest day and wanted to see if they had any specials and maybe make an appointment for another time,but lucky for me they had time and said it would take an hour,but I was in and out in about half that time! Definitely my new to go stereo shop.

I had my stereo stolen out of my car so I was going to go to Audio Express (don’t recommend it) because it was closest to me but I’m so glad I came to Sounds Good To Me. Dav ( the owner) gave me so many options from latest and greatest to basic standard deck stereos. All top of the line brands and design. Took my truck here to purchase and install subwoofers and the owner Dave has been incredible at answering my questions and getting the work done. His pricing was fair and the whole team has been amazing. Even after I self-installed a second subwoofer and wired it incorrectly I returned and was treated like family getting the problem corrected. Was looking for a place to install my existing pretty nice stereo stuff and a new remote start to replace the broken one into a 2002 Trans Am. Pretty important to get this right and these cars are not the easiest to deal with. Great experience from the moment I walked in. The install went great and the previous installation of the stereo system was sort of botched (original Monsoon System is a bit different than Normal). The remote start also worked great and was explained very well. Highly recommend this place!

This shop is awesome! A nice local shop that has been around for decades. The guys are nice and are willing to help out in any way they can! Dave and his team really understood customer service! I had them initially check out why sound wasn’t coming out of my speakers. It turned out to be a simple setting on my head unit. Hop skip jump, I ended up learning about my stereo, and bought a new sub for my vehicle. This place is legit! Their experience is unmatched, and you’ll feel good about your decision with this place. Ill be honest I havent spent much money here. Thats because I have literally TRIED to pay them for things before (lil $5 stuff but still) and they refused lol. These guys just wanna help you make your car sound good and it shows.

Dave is AWESOME! Audio express tried to get me to buy an expensive radio and charge me $300 for installation to Do it right ... in total I would have spent about $500 or more. I ended up buying a radio from amazon before I found this place but I still needed a harness, they got that for me and installed the radio in about a days time and for $115 all together!! Even if I bought the radio in the shop I still would have come out way better than at Audio express. Super awesome group of guys and will be referring people and coming back for all my audio needs!

I cannot thank the team enough for deadening the rear deck + trunk rattling sounds being caused by my new sub-woofers. I chose this place because the reviews were high. I came here to get help/advise installing what I thought would be an easy project into my older vehicle (early 90s). Sadly, I was given bad information that cost me a lot of time and running around looking for parts I didnt need. I ended up going somewhere else for a second opinion and they helped me immediately with an simple solution. Now everything works and sounds great! Im not sure if the person at Sounds Good was having a bad day or just didnt know anything my about car. However, the employees there were extremely friendly, so if you go hopefully you have better luck.

Went there for a few pieces to install my car audio system myself. Was greeted by a few nice knowledgeable employees that were more than happy to get me the parts I needed and even explain installation questions I had. Even though they do installs there they were more than helpful accomidating me. Overall a great experience with a fair price.

This morning I had a problem disconnecting and alarm for a 94 Land Cruiser. I called Mark told him that I was not a customer there and had never bought anything from him but he was still kind enough to walk me through it and helped me anyway. If I ever need something I know where to go-the man was awesome thank you Mark!

Installed a new stereo deck and direct battery line, whole system sounds fantastic and works perfectly. Stopped by a few times, and though they didnt carry the part I was looking for, the owner and staff were always friendly and helpful. Installation price was very fair (about $85 total). A part of the steering wheel was damaged in the process, but they offered to cover the new part and do the re-installation, so its all good.

Prices at this place are extremely high, the salesman there wants nothing to do with you if you talk about finding a better price online for your deck. They try to scare you away by saying that your warranty wont be valid on the deck unless you buy it from them. I was an unexpected walk-in but nevertheless they had the parts necessary to install a new radio in my old car. They were very patient with questions and took a long time showing me how to use everything. The tested it with me and I feel very confident about it. I highly recommend them. Oh, and the price was very competitive with other places I called.

Needed a car alarm that was in my price range and reliable. Decided Id give this place a try rather than Audio Express who usually tries to upsell me or sell me stuff I dont need. The owner (who works directly with the customer) told me the exact alarm and sensors I needed for the system to be compatible with my vehicle, I paid for it, and brought my car in a week later and had it installed. Installation time was quick and the alarm works like a charm! Will definitely be coming back for future car audio or auto-security needs.-Also, they recognized that the original alarm that they had planned for my car was not optimal for my situation, so they upgraded me to a superior, more high-quality system that fit my needs at no extra charge! Great customer service guys!

Just had the iPod integration installed in my truck. These folks are top notch! They provided me with excellent customer service at a fair price. I loved how down to Earth they are. If you go, read the handwritten signs in the show room! Their sense of humor is fabulous!They appear to have vehicle alarm systems, audio equipment to suit your taste and budget, as well as window tinting, which I will be going back for.I couldnt be happier getting into my truck and hooking my iPhone up to play my favorite music! They did this with the factory Bose stereo I have in the truck. The jack and power button that they installed look factory!I highly recommend them!

Sounds Good To Me is more like Sounds Heavenly To Me. You really find the true character of the business owners when you want your audio problem to be fixed. In my case, after the new installation of the receiver produced static in my Chevy Suburban, they right away worked to fix the problem by replacing the factory amp and then rewiring the twitter at no extra cost. While waiting, I got to know more about Dave and Mark who are two great souls with passion to serve the customers and their employees with great respect. And Mark is such a good humor writer, evident from his writings strung around the waiting area. To keep such humor while running a business deserves a big applause. I wish both of them continued success in their business so that we can continue to appreciate and learn from their beautiful characters.

First, I dont do surveys and I dont post reviews. My experience yesterday here has to be mentioned. I met Mark at the shop Wednesday and he took the time to explain to me that the Boston Acoustics stereo I have was no longer manufactured and OEM speakers were no longer available. He got online to investigate what others had done with their own 10 year old Jeep. He evaluated my sound system and offered me two replacement dash board speakers. I was prepared to replace four speakers and two woofers. I did not need that and Mark only sold me what I needed. No up-selling here. I scheduled the work for Thursday. I was met by Dave who was great also. Met the installer. Nice guys all the way around.The work was done in a timely manner and was clean and no visual damage to the dash. Professional from start to finish! Enjoying the crisp clear sound of my music again!I couldnt be happier!Thanks, Sounds good to me!!

I was in search for a bestkits dash kit (made by PAC) for my 2008 Toyota 4Runner Limited with RDS/JBL part number BKTOYK961. Seemed like nobody in the valley carried this kit. I was about to give up and randomly called sounds good to me. Mark answered and promptly offered (without me asking) to track down said kit from a distributor. Mark had a courier go grab the kit, and I am picking it up tomorrow. You can’t even get this kind of service for this specific part via amazon(they don’t even carry it). I’m beyond pleased with the excellent customer service provided by sounds good to me! I will be doing more business here, and recommending to all I know. Thanks again Mark!

I took my car in to have an old amp install cleaned up, was told it would be about $75. After they were done I received a call from the older guy whom i believe is the owner, telling me that everything was done but that he felt i should tap the signal at the from stock amp in my car as opposed to the rear. They did this, charged me another $75, at this point they have not even run a single cable, just messed with connections. the closest they came to having to run a cable for this $150 waste was moving one side of the RCA cables about 5 feet. I will never do business at this store again and dont recommend you do either, they just want your money and will take it any way they can get it.

I called Dave to inquire about fixing sub-woofer in my older car. I had been told at 2 other places it would run around 5 to 6 hundred bucks for a new sub & an amp. Dave agreed that was about right but to let his stereo guru Matt have a shot at it first. Long story short, 45 minutes later he asked me to sit in the drivers seat to see where I preferred the settings. I couldnt believe it was the same unit. The fix was absolutely transformational for less than a hundred bucks. Not saying everyone will have the same experience price wise but I know it wasnt an easy fix & there are a lot of good techs out there but from now on I wont go anywhere else. Aside from being really knowledgeable you would be hard pressed to find nicer people at any business. Thanks a lot guys.

While we only got a keyless entry and an alarm installed, the sales person was honest. I dont usually write any reviews but the turds at Audio Express (202 & Scottsdale Rd) were so awful that I had to write bad reviews everywhere. Sounds Good to Me was good, I didnt have to haggle and they didnt change the prices just because my wife dropped off the car. Their work was good and there were no wires hanging or anything. I would recommend these guys over any of the other guys..

Good service, I like the guys. However install takes longer then average, I scheduled a ingintion lock that was suppose to take 3 hours, but was more like 4 and half, because the guy was not ready. I had to come back on 2 seperate days because the guy was not ready, paperwork wise, and was helping another person. So expect to have a longer wait then average... at least in my experience of others.

Super pleased with both my window tint and audio upgrades that these guys did for me. I was apprehensive to get a subwoofer but Dave talked me into it and I have 0 regrets about it. I even got dynamat in all my doors to help with road noise and heat. These guys helped turn my little putput Ford fiesta into a cool, comfortable, and highly enjoyable ride. Im looking for some speakers for the doors for my 1999 Dodge Durango 4 door

I went in with a small issue that (I dont deal with) and asked if thwy could help! They were very good with getting me in and back really fast. Now....for the issue at hand. I had a stereo put in amd the amp amd stereo were not (adjusted) so i asked them to adjust my stereo and amp. When i got there an older man came out and started messi g with my head unit. After 10 minutes all he did was put ALL THE SETTING FROM THE HWAD UNIT back to (natural state?) SERIOUSLY? I EVEN PAID THE CHARGE.....FOR THEM TO PUT IT BACK TO EVERYTHING DOWN THE MIDDLE? THATS NOT COOL AT ALL. BECAUSE OF THIS I WILL UNFORTUNATLY NOT BE GOING BACK! IF THEY CHARGED ME MONEY JUST TO PUT EVERYTHING (DOWN THE MIDDLE) I FEEL THAT WAS NOT VERY ORDERLY! I ENDED UP GOING TO A DIFFERENT STEREO LOCATION WHERE THEY WERE ABLE TO PROPERLY SET THE AMP ANNDDD THE HEAD UNIT.

This place is absolutely fantastic! I started out at Best Buy, where I was told labor and parts alone to replace my radio would be over $200... and that was without the cost of a radio face. Essentially, I was looking at over $300 at Best Buy. So, I went over to this place this morning and received far better customer service at a fraction of the cost. I walked in, was greeted, and in less than 15 minutes, they had my car in the bay replacing my radio. After less than 45 minutes, they had everything set up and even walked me through how to use my new system. It was, by far, the best customer service experience I have had in a long time. They really care, and they are straight with you about the cost and the product. I will definitely be back when my speakers need replacing, and I would definitely recommend it! I walked out of there for $179, having gotten my 2001 Oldsmobile Alero Bluetooth capable and iPod ready. Forget Best Buy! Sounds Good to Me is definitely the place to go.

I had front door speakers installed in a kia van in 2009, wasnt until today doing maitenance behind the dash when i saw their install quality. The crossover was installed with a zip tie on the speaker wires....stuffed beside the glove box hanging loose, unbelievable.

Master Technician Mark rewired and reamped my Rinker Captiva 296 Boat and it sounds fantastic!!! Mark not only made the existing Rockford Fosgate speakers sound great he changed my stereo head unit out with a new Alpine unit. I have one of the best sounding boat sound systems on Lake Pleasant. The combination of the Rockford Fosgate tower speakers, sub woofer and in-boat Sony Marine speakers along with new pre-amps and sub-amps that Mark installed and totally rewired made the system sound like new and can definitely be heard all over the lake and marina. To top it off, Mark actually slept on my boat during installation to make sure no one took off with any components (all during 110 degree heat for 3 nights.) He is a real trooper and dedicated to quality sound. I would highly recommend taking your boat (like my experience) down to Sounds good to me for a sound system upgrade and experience a seat thumping, totally equalized & perfected sound. You will get a smile across your face from ear to ear, after you hear the upgraded change. (just like I did).

Called this place and asked for an estimate on what it would cost to rewire my door speakers to the trunk. The guy said so what exactly do you want done? so I repeated what I just said. He says so you basically want an amplifier installed. I hung up on this Moron. Getting The Work Done By Sun Valley Stereo!!!

I went in with a relatively simple stereo issue and the manager really took the time to help me out. He even gave me the tools I need to fix it myself should the problem crop up again. He did all of this at no charge. With customer service like that, I know where Im buying my next stereo!

I called the day before arriving at Sounds Good To Me and received the exact price I was quoted. They went above and beyond to meet the needs for our Honda CRV.The salesmen we met were both really nice and extremely well versed not only on our Kenwood system that we purchased elsewhere but gave us the same price as if I purchased it through them.Any other speakers/radios/navigation systems I buy will be purchased directly through them. They told me about price matching which is great to know.They werent able to add the steering wheel module at this time, but took a long time researching what is wrong with the steering wheel area. They did not charge me for all the work they did investigating the issue.They were $150.00 cheaper than the 2 other places I called to installed my new radio/navigation system.The installer was really good and the navigation system/radio looks so flush that most people would think it came with the car.Thank you guys,Johnny Amani

I went to Sounds Good To Me to upgrade my factory sound system.Mark went over all the options without pushing any particular components and we decided on a nice system with a Kenwood head unit, Alpine amp and JL speakers.Installation is flawless, looks like it was built from the factory, sounds great.I highly recommend if you are looking for a high quality sound system.Update: Had them change out my old Kenwood head unit for an Alpine with CarPlay. Love it! Thanks guys!
