Found everything for a good evening meal, everything was fresh and prices reasonable. Will come back again, better selection than other shops nearby. Loved the self service machines option for quick buy and go. Had a small chat with staf members - they were polite and pointed me in the right direction.
I just like heb and this one has a good selection of produce compared to other hebs
The store is nice. Food selection good. Even though lately missing some things. The store needs a make over. Signs so people dont litter. Parking lot was dirty. People are loosing their manners, put carts back not left everywhere. Is th e only market. Take care of it.
Best selection, best prices and definitely a friendlier staff than the other store (W-Mart) to get groceries in our area!!
Wonderful as always. I got my sushi, got my slice meat and cheese from the deli, my sourdough bread from the bakery, my fruits salads and dressings, some delicious extras like a blend of olives and feta cheese and stuff in like olive oil .I dont know it look delicious Im going to try it. I figured itd be good on my sandwiches0 even a beautiful plant which I always get when Im up there cuz they have the best ones at the best prices. It was pretty busy when I was checking out but the guys handled it great.
I will continue to shop at H‑E‑B while in Temple, and would recommend it, but there are problems. I almost always find it an unpleasant experience when I go. That’s not entirely HEB´s fault they are dealing with their own excess success and COVID. The cashier turnover is high if inexperience is an indication—not sure what’s up with that, but it seems that other groceries in the area are experiencing the similar problems. They checkout process is usually very efficient but glitches happen, and lines are often long. Today the delay was a fumbled cashier switch just as I got to the register. I managed a 4 page Texas Monthly article while I waited. It is, no exaggeration, the busiest grocery, and most difficult to get around in my 60 years of grocery shopping experience. The other local HEB´s aren’t much better. Today I went at 10 AM. Still bad.
This store has seen better days.Place is getting run down and workers have low moral wich is how depressing the place is.
Ive never had a problem grocery shopping here. Location is awesome. Always busy, but never a difficult time to get in and out. Selections better than the one on west adams. A million times better than walmart.
The prices just keep going up and up while quality and selection are going down, down. The shame is the HEB family is now one of the top 5 richest families in USA due to pandemic. SHAME ON THEM.
Being able to find everything your looking for would be nice once in a while and not empty shelves. And sackers that put food in the bags they belong in. Who puts frozen seafood in with fresh vegetables?? Who does that, the sackers at the HEB in Temple on 31st thats who.
Visited the HEB on 31st around7:30pm. It wasnt very busy, so there were actually open self-checkout, open and not lines that stretch 2 aisles back in the normal checkouts. The renovations are almost complete, so the freezers are close to fully stocked again. The bakery and butcher/seafood area are very tidy. The produce section is well maintained, with a large variety that actually are not half rotten. This HEB, with its newly added gas pumps, has definitely come up. Would recommend, however, the pet section is still a bit lacking. Overall prices are fair and their coupons are still well worth the trip.
Every time that I am in town I of course have to show up. I truly believe that they have reasonable prices on their merchandise. The quality of food is good and you have a selection of items to chose from. The staff is corteous and friendly always! Will be back to shop some more soon.
Rosemary bread didnt have nearly as much rosemary as normal. Didnt notice until opening to eat at home, hope they get back to the correct recipe. I will be checking out the loaf before buying next time. This is normally excellent bread.
The store itself is fine - just like any other HEB. The curbside pickup is really slow. I tried it twice, the first time they took 45 minutes to get the order out to my car but it was busy - like 2pm on a Sunday & so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The 2nd time I made sure to schedule early - 7:30am on Saturday, the store was not busy, I got there 30 minutes after the order was ready and it still took over 20 minutes to get the order out. That said, the staff is super friendly and is clearly trying hard - must just be badly organized behind the scenes.
Just cant wait to get back again and see the food protects you have really nice food stores like coming in Just to look around and employees know where all the items you cant find, ask one youll be surprised i was tky HEB,very happy customer.
HEB was absolutely wonderful. I went in to get my friends 4th of July birthday cake and it was ready and gorgeous. It was absolutely delicious too later. I Picked up a great deal on a beautiful tropical plant for only $14.95 and another beautiful plant that was outside with big beautiful pink blooms on it for only $6.95. For my friends birthday, she loves sushi and we hadnt had it in a while so I had fun buying sushi and we had fun eating it it was delicious. I went in got the plants got my cake got the sushi went to the register very very nice young gentleman checked me out and was back in the car in no time even my roommate said wow that was fast. LOL Im not getting paid for this and I dont work for HEB but it sure does sound like an advertisement. It happened just this way.I was very happy. Im always happy when things go smooth like that. Shout out to the bakery!!!!!
This HEB is generally great. They do a good job of keeping the shelves stocked and the store clean. However, the baggers need better training so they dont mix certain things, such as household cleaners and milk or raw meat and ready to eat items.
I placed an order last night for delivery between 9-10pm. I received updates on my phone until about 10pm and then my order never showed up. I called at 11pm and was told by Paul that nothing could be done and that I needed to call back in the morning. I asked if there was a manager I could speak to and Paul informed me that there was a grocery manager on duty but he wouldnt be able to help me and to just call back in the morning. Some time later in the night my husband found a message on HIS phone saying they decided not to deliver and that they would deliver this morning at 0845. Im not sure why they sent message updates to my phone (the correct phone number on the account), but then called my husbands phone which is not on the account. By about 0830 I hadnt received any text updates and so I called per Paul. I got Angela and as soon as I explained the situation, she immediately argued with me that they called the number on the account. I told her that his number is not on the account and I received all the updates at my phone number which is the correct number, listed on the account, so I dont know why the phone message was left on my husbands phone. She very ingenuously apologized. I asked when I would receive my delivery and was told she could reschedule it for me, so I told her the phone message said it would be delivered around 0845. She said that she could not get it delivered by then. She could call the delivery team and they could be there at the store in 15-20 min., but it wouldnt be to my house until later...So 2 stars for all that. Also, both people I spoke with are lacking in customer service skills. Angela was rude and both were argumentive. This is the worst experience yet with the delivery service. Another reason for 2 stars is that I am a night shift nurse and so I schedule for a reason. My delivery/time might not be important to you, but it is to me. Dont offer the delivery time if you cant deliver and then communicate better with your customers when there is a problem. I expect more from HEB and I am disappointed....and sleepy, sitting here waiting for my order to arrive, whenever that might be...The delivery person just texted me asking if he or she is supposed to park at curbside or go into the store. I dont know. Unbelievable...get your act together HEB.
I shop all three HEBs in Bell County, they do a great job. Of taking care of its customers, the HEB on 31st and Adams in Temple has quiet a few pot holes in its parking lot.Other than that great place to shop
Love this store. Ordered items this morning. They were ready early. Extremely nice young man brought them out to my car.
Horrible experience with the pharmacy. Extremely slow and not organized. Each time I reach a level of anxiety.
Bought a family pack of country style pork ribs that turn rancid in just a few days. Wont be buying meat from HEB anymore.
HEB is always awesome! Friendly employees, fresh meats, produce and a great deli. Even during the big storm they were packed and while things were out of stock there were still employees in almost every aisle trying to restock. Keep up the great work!
Very clean store and smells clean when you walk in the store. Friendly employees always help you find what your looking for. The produce employees are always seen checking the fruits and vegetables and they are always well stocked up. They have a very good taco soup in the vegetables on the side of produce by the door . The children see me cooking it and say oh yum mom.The meat is well stocked and the others shelves are always being restocked when they need more of something. Our family love to buy the meal deals and helps the food bill when there other things that the store throws in for free with the coupons.
I really liked it.We dont have one back home.
Bought venus fly traps from here. Werent expensive. The only place I could find them.
Always had gd experience here n the ppl r caring n kind.
H-E-B was wonderful as usual. I usually go to Waco, as I live in Lorena and its closer. But I had to go to Belton and stopped at HEB on the way back. Everybody was shopping for Memorial Day and the place was packed. But, there was this wonderful young woman who helped me. She is tall, beautiful, and has the sweetest Spirit ever, and she was so knowledgeable and helped me. I am disabled, and it its hard to believe how much her help and kindness brightened that day. I asked her name, because she was so nice and I wanted to make sure that I mentioned her in this review. Her name is Cassie Valdivia. HEB employees are always nice and helpful, but this young lady is the frosting on the top! HEB is lucky to have her.
This HEB hands down has the slowest curbside service Ive used. Would reccomend picking up inside over curbside.
I LOVE HEB THEY HAVE THE BEST RIBEYE STEAKS AND BEST PORTERHOSE STEAKS IN THE USA.AND THE PEOPLE ARE GREAT
This is the store I use the most. Its great. But a lot of people go to this store. So crowded.
H.E.B. continues to be a perfect shopping center for groceries and house needs. For those that do not like crowds of people go before 10am and after 7pm. The best part are their selections of meats that may or may not be seasoned! And the Stella Rosa wine selection is pretty good too! ;)
Its not bad, minus the parking lot which I will sometimes get fed up with and just go to Aldis which is way better anyway.
Nice H-E-B. Always crowded but we’ll stocked
This store is horrible. The Pharmecy has messed up multiple prescriptions. The store cannot stock basic items. Tried to use curbside. After 40 minutes of waiting no groceries. This management team needs to be replaced.
HEB depends on the one you visit is nice... different varieties of produce and foods I LOVE CHOICE! If youre into snacks like me get them Gushers for the kids OMG 😱 its legal crack 😂😂😂 and Im 53. For the older GEN if youre into peanuts try the pistachios Chile Limon in the chips Isle they will stay on your grocery list. Only @ H-E-B!
Good place to shop. Cheap
HEB on 31st is usually too busy for my liking. The one on Adams is smaller but not so busy and the staff is also friendlier on Adams as well
Decent variety of goods. But doesnt have a good bakery for different breads/rolls.
Only grocery store I go to. Love it!
Always love my Heb experience. Fresh meat, fresh produce, and nice employees
Bought some red snapper filets today and took home and but them in the fridge to cook later. Took them out to cook this evening and they had the worst smell ever! Smelled very tainted. Had to throw away. HEB please check your fish. This is not the first time Ive gotten bad fish from you all that was suppose to be fresh!!
HEB has ALWAYS been my much preferred grocery store. Always better help and still has low prices. Eat your heart out Walmart
Prices of groceries high yet. Please work on this. It may really profit in the long stretch.
Great prices and staff
I just cant thank the young gentleman working enough for his honesty and politeness! I believe he was the mod, had on a pink shirt. I left my wallet in the basket and realized shortly after getting home. I drove back as quickly as the weather conditions would allow panicking and praying it was still there and hadnt been stolen. The young man was my angel tonight, and I wanted the company to know about his honesty and his friendly customer service. When I walked an hour before closing he walked passed and greeted me with smile, then checking out the cash register had some technical problems he was quick to fix it, and then he found my wallet. Im sorry I didnt catch your name sir, but again I cant thank you enough for being absolutely amazing and honest and polite!
They have everything... Except 7 day religious candles. Other than that its a one stop shop. Its always clean and the employees are always super kind!
Best store to get organic foods with cheap price 👍no doubt no worries. My H‑E‑B My Store
Its a dump. Some cashiers that have been there over 3 yrs. Need to learn customer service. Bad experience. This store is so disorganized . I understand they had issues with the freezers starting on fire but it has been sometime since that occurred. The fact that the freezers starting on fire is evidence of the neglect of the store. The store is very small for this population. The Belton store is a great example of a great HEB store.
Little old Building. Descent selection, not enough baggers.
Most of the HEBs seem to be pretty decent. This was the exception. It was more like a Walmart. Presentation wasnt great, it looked dark and had a dirty appearance. Long lines, and typical people you would find at Walmart. However I was able to find what I needed.
Im am just so dissapointed with this company lately. First when they were doing the store revamp they had some clearance gluten free products on the shelf. I bought a few thinking I scored big. Turns out I get extremely sick after consuming some granola. I looked at the label and discovered it was extremely expired. I then decided to check another product I bought & discovered it expired a year ago. I called and thry asked me to run back right after work so that they could send the product to quality control. After some time passed I hadnt heard back from them. I was informed they didnt follow protocol and lost the granola. Not only thar but I came into the store and found the same package of the other expired product I returned back on the shelf!! Ridiculous. I brought it up to the manager who apologized and said someone would follow up on this & the granola incident & call me back. I even called corporate with no results. Then I went yesterday & had two items not ring up right. The customer service rep fixed one and wouldnt fix the other because that dept managet went home for the day. It was a.99 difference. So she wanted me to drive all the way back tommorow to get a refund. Nope just wont shop here. I really hate that because I used to love shopping here.
Heb is a good place to shop staff were doinf there job cashiers were fast and freindly in and fast like i like it thank you
They have good deals but their prices keep going up we are in a pandemic the prices should go down not up soon the public wont be able to buy food anymore
Shop here so much love it just love it..
HEB is nothing but the best! Parking and traffic in this particular location is a challenge.
I hadnt been in a H-E-B store since I was a kid. It was a good experience shopping here
Always busy. Employees are nice. Good prices.
HEB will always be an institution for Texas with its vast selection of foods and drinks (try their unique addictive Sangria soda; in stores now).
Nice store to grocery shop
Place pack, but, found everything needed Thank you HEB
I like this HEB. They dont enforce illegal mask mandates like some liberal towns do. I ONLY spend my money at places they dont discriminate against people with mask exemptions like some liberal stores. So Ill keep shopping here
Love HEB its my Store
Busy but great services
Good clean store currently has no restrooms so downgrade to 4 stars
Its my favorite HEB. A bit far from my house compared to the one in Belton, but they carry certain items the one in Belton doesnt and whats more refuses to though weve asked. The HEB on 31st has much more helpful and friendly management so its worth it to me to go out of my way to shop here. Customer service is key, and the folks here provide it in droves!
It is what it is HEB good prices clean store plenty of anything everything you could possibly need and then some
Nice clean grocery store.
My family and I love H-E-B! They have nearly everything you could want or need in a grocery store. Their selection is outstanding and check out the seasoning isle. It’s normally at the entrance. You can bag your own seasonings and get them at a fraction of the price. Next time I go, I’ll post pictures of what I’m referring to. Overall, I would have to say H-E-B is the #1 grocer in Texas. I recommend going and seeing for yourself.Thank you,Jerad H.
Very crowded out of toilet paper and remolding. Not to good experience today. Ask an employee where something was very rude. Complained to manager. Checking out and bagging man very nice helpful and pleasant. That part i enjoyed. Hard to fine a place to park.
I found everything that I was looking for, but 1 item. I love the new coolers. They are very sleek looking.
The place is a good place to shop they have in-store coupons
In my opinion, this is the best place to shop for groceries and dry goods in Texas. HEB goes above and beyond to take care of their employees and customers. They offer top quality products; if you purchase something you arent satisfied with, take it back. Theyll refund you with a smile! Their meat is always fresh, fair prices. I enjoy their HEB TEXAS PECAN and SAN ANTONIO coffee blends. If you cant find what you are looking for, ask... If youve purchased something in the past that you cant find on the shelf, ask... It may have fallen off their inventory list. They work hard for their customers!!!
Its a Unique HEB. Great vitamin section! However their customer service could be better...especially at the front end.
I like the HEB in Cove better. Cove is more friendly everyone speaks and asked if you need help. This HEB seem like your in there way not a great place to shop. 2 managers work by. The same attitude. No smiles, no can I help you, 5 of the curbside employees was just blocking the isle just talking.. we had to walk around them. :(. It was 1 curbside young lady was polite and move out of the way....
Heb is always great. Unfortunately due to the storm they were still low or out of quite a few products.
We love our H.E.B. they run great specials and supply us with local products we cant get otherwise. They keep up with demand and are prepared sticking shelves to keep ppl from panicking in tough times. 90% of the time great friendly and caring customer service.
Grocery store. Has all that you need at reasonable prices.
Great market place!
My heb for almost 35 yrs. Love it
Store well stocked cashiers friendly
Best prices and coupon deals. Great staff too!
Oddly, a decent selection of inexpensive DVDs but Best Buy is still the biggest rip off. Ever since they sold me a protection plan and refused to cover the computer I purchased through them, at THIS store, I have no love in my heart for the chain.
Pharmacy needs an overhaul....lack of training and customer service. Not good at the Temple Texas locations
Theres so many Ive people around willing to help. Workers or not!
Clean, nicely stocked and the expanded merchandise was fun and eye catching!
This is our first place we go to get the groceries that we need. We also get our personal items that we need. They have a better selection of meat than any other store at a very reasonable price. We are very happy with HEB.
Always good shopping at HEB but too many order fillers blocking the aisles and not making room for regular customers.
Small sometimes crowded the people working there who bag it up are so slow tho...
Hadnt been here since a younging HEB on Adams is the go to ever since i moved to north side. Bound to see a clasdmate there!:) nice store
Great grocery store and you can also get your vehicle tags renewed here
For anyone unfamiliar with Texas, H‑E‑B has a cult following. The employees are always helpful, the prices are always low, and the product selection is always amazing. This H‑E‑B in particular more upscale and modern than other H‑E‑Bs in the area so it has a nicer atmosphere.
All good. Nothing missing. Shopper did a great job.
