Went in looking for organic wheat grass JUICE powder. Came out with a recycled box full of groceries and treats. This place has such a wide selection of produce, vegan items, vitamins, and supplements. Not to mention their phenomenal skin, face, and make up aisle. This is truly a gem! My new favorite grocery store.

My first visit was quite and pleasant. A cashier was at register and she welcome me. At Natural Food the products you buy are certainly that.

This was Vitamin Cottage in Lakewood Colorado for decades. The company is very reliable and adheres to a strict quality policy that ensures its products are all the best available. I have known them since 1988.

Nice clean, welll stocked store. Has large variety of items or most anything a person would need for all of their shopping needs. Everything looked so fresh, from vegetables to fruits and baked goods.I would highly recommend Natural Grocers for at least one try. This was my first time to go to this store.

Stopped by Natural Grocers today with my daughter. It was busier than normal, two registers open with lines. I waited patiently and when I finally got to the register the girl said Im closed. When I told her that I had been waiting in line she rolled her eyes and started scanning my items. If my daughter hadnt been with me then she would have gotten an earful from me. I worked retail over 20 years and I have never been rude like that to a customer. Everyone one else was great there but she was just flat out rude.

Great prices. One of the very few places that sells B2 (riboflavin) in the area. Love the quality of food, supplements great selection and the staff is friendly and helpful

I stumbled across this place by accident. I live an hour away. I passed by and had to stop. Ive never been to a natural store before and it was refreshing not to see the processed junk we have in HEB and such. As soon as I walked in I could smell the good stuff! Lol I dont know how else to explain it. I was in the store for almost an hour looking at everything! My favorite was the herbs. 💜 Everything was pricey as natural things are. But worth it ☺️

The shop is well organized which makes finding products easy. They have plenty of offering for a variety of dietary restrictions which is lovely. I have a stricter diet than most and I was thrilled to find a non dairy ice cream that was low in carbohydrates that I could enjoy. The staff are friendly and helpful!

If you want some of the best fresh produce in Temple, then this is the place to go. Very, very clean store with employees there to help and assist you. Didnt have to stand in line to get in due to the restrictions of the Covid-19. 👍s up and thank you Natural Grocers

The cashier and manager was very rude. The never acknowledged I was there and then the manager opened up a new line after she saw the line was getting long and instead of taking next in line me. She took the others at the end of the line. The cashier I had, had issues with her customer and when she finally got it straight she tried to make me wait a minute. I just left the store without my items

I walked through the door of this store and fell immediately in love with it. There was so much good, fresh, organic food; something for everyone. The staff were all so friendly, and happy to help me find things and made great, useful suggestions of products that would meet the needs I was seeking to fulfill. The prices are about typical of a healthy living type store. I am particularly impressed with their wide selection of essential oils and soaps! I am destined to be a repeat customer here, to be sure!

Store is clean and organized. Employees are friendly but they usually have just one checkout lane open. Largest selection of gluten free and organic items in the Temple area. Walmart carries some of the exact same items at a much lower price.

The people are nice but they don’t have very many people working. They have a great selection of vitamins but the fresh food is sub par. I like that they have some gluten free options. I also like the allergies drops that they sale!

I moved here from another state where it was easy to find organic and gluten free foods. I was in for a shock after moving to Texas as the big grocery stores near me have a very limited supply of organic and gluten free items. This store is heaven to me! Can find all the ingredients for a meal and its all so fresh! Worth the 25 min drive for me!

I love to shop here. I dont like the no bag policy or having to box my own purchases. Sometimes I feel like Im not very welcome.

Illa was so sweet. I just moved to the area and called the store because I have been struggling to find organic meat in Killeen and she was so helpful over the phone. I made the trip to the store and it was awesome and I got a bunch of great stuff and this is where I will be doing my shopping from now on. And I just realized last night that I can instacart from their store too!!!

The store itself has a good ambiance. THE products seem to be great! However, the staff treated me like a second class citizen to say the least. One employee didnt even acknowlwdge my question...she seemed bothered even offended by my question regarding xoffee and if they had syrups for coffee. The cashier informed me that they had military discount and rang me up and then i said ..you guys have military discount, kind of like wow that is great and she said i already asked you that..as if she was insulted that i asked again ..ugh..anyway hope they get better employees..these seemed to have racial issues.

I am very disappointed because they discontinued the Reviva face cream products and replaced them with products $10-20 more expensive. I will not buy them. I like the store otherwise. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Its still a great store, but I think it could be much better. I does have healthy options but I wish there was more of a focus on low salt and low sugar products. Its no longer the only place in town that offers healthier options but Natural Grocers made the big chain stores wake up. Its rarely crowded and usually you can get in and out quickly.

Nice store friendly staff. A little difficult to get to from the high way though, but thats not the stores fault.

My dad had this problem on his leg, which we later learned through word of mouth and a bunch of Google searches was cellulitis. We found that there were more natural solutions to it, so we opted to try those rather than go straight to a doctor. We went to Natural Grocers, and they had everything we needed at very affordable prices! I needed help finding one item, and the employee I asked was very kind, helpful, and she had quite a bit of knowledge about how the item worked, its side effects, and how it treated the ailment. Everything we got is working smoothly so far! Its nice to have a store that provides natural alternatives to traditional medicine, as well as healthier and even vegan food options. 5/5 for me.

I am transitioning to veganism and they have everything I have needed to cook a vegan meal...not to mention frozen vegan entrees and vegan ice cream.Also they have organic and homeopathic products.

Love my natural grocers. Diane and Brandi are the sweetest! Everyone there is so helpful and willing to help anyway they can. I love the little samples they out out. Have found some really good products that way! Pricing is good for the quality you receive. I will always choose this store as my go to for produce and well, pretty much everything!

Good place to find hard to find health products or suppliments, or for those that have strict diets, eating regiments, or allergies.Pricey, but some products are s godsend or cant be found elsewhere.Lots of healthy, organic, gluten free, all natural, grass fed, (you name it) products. They have elk meat, duck, ...just a wide variety of different kinds of meat.

The assortment of supplements is wonderful and sales staff is knowledgeable. Some of the younger female sales people have a tendency to blow you off and just tell you they dont have what youre looking for when the store actually does have it. However, because I now know to avoid them and go to a specific person who is aware of what the store carries and where to find it, I gave the store a 4 but she definitely gets a 5!

It’s the bad part for this store that quite far from me and traffic was too bad goes one direction and comes back home was another side of the freeways.The good part, that they has pretty good items that HEB doesn’t carried.I recommend you folks good market clean find the customer service quite faster than HEB. And I will return and again strongly recommend to anyone!!

Finally !!! An organic grocery store. My new and only grocery store.They also have vitamin section, gluten free, good for your fur babies food and treats, Fruit and vegetables are available according to the season so dont expect to find certain produce in the wrong season. They also offer you to sign up for there rewards program that has coupons and saves you a couple of dollars. Nice store and very well kept. They also have a natural selection of makeup, bath soaps and lotions, aromatherapy, and others products in that category. Dont forget your bags .

Great selection of food though as well as other products like lotions etc. They carry the Beyond Burger which is my absolute favorite and typically not easy to find in other stores. Natural Grocers is the only health food store in the Temple area. Waco has Vitamins Plus located inside Drug Emporium but does not have the selection Natural Grocers does. The staff are great and always friendly. As with anything some items are a bit high and others are lower than some box stores. I shop here as I want them to stay open.If you are looking for a good selection of organic food, grass feed meats, and other healthy alternatives you cant go wrong shopping here.

Good store, expensive, but lots of choices. Strangely they only had whole lactose free milk, not any part skim. Not everyone loves vegetable or nut milks. And BE CAREFUL ABOUT SOME OF THEIR PREMIXED FOODS. I got a packet to mix with avocado to make guacamole. Yuck! Truly horrible. I would have been much better off to never have gotten that. Who ever heard of Serrano peppers in guacamole without a big label noting the fact. Chock that off to four ruined avocados (I thought more avocados would make it better) and wasted mix!When I can find someone to help me locate special items I am fine here, but sometimes service is nonexistent. But I am glad we have them in Temple!

All your hippie needs are satisfied here! They have the best tea selection. I like how they have a decent selection of candles and other fun stuff too. Also very much appreciate the agave, I cant find a large one at any other place (HEB, Walmart,etc). Make sure to bring bags, if you dont they have boxes for you to use! Great place for practicing and learning more about sustainable living.

Great place to get the things I need that are organic or natural

I usually visit this store when I need something very specific that no other retailer carries. I wish I could afford to shop here more.If you have dietary restrictions, health issues or just want to eat healthy, this is a great place to start.I have bought a few cosmetics and the only issue Ive run into is that because they are natural, sometimes theyve gone bad on the shelf. They will be happy for you to make a return in this case though.

My happy place. Love the guide posted by the Reading section of the store. I took everything recommended by the guide and my blood pressure is down significantly and I will not be having to deal with prescription blood pressure medication. Great place to find quirky foods along with a few tasty brands. Theyre definitely in the niche category: vegan options, hundreds of dietary supplements, etc. The store is clean and appears well kept. I stop in on rare occasion because my price point is lower than the stores target market.

This place has the nicest most informed staff. Sadly there isnt one in Killeen, but we drive to Temple every now and again to stock up on items. We miss going there weekly since we moved from Temple.

I have shopped here since they first opened. The prices are a bit high, but I would rather pay thefarmer instead of the doctors. You can also save money by growingyour own food and making your own creams, lotions, and herbal medicine. The Natural Grocer providesan over abundance of herbs that are great for herbal medicine. The farmers market is another place to shop, but their prices are high as well.
