This place is awesome. Definitely the best authentic Mexican food Ive had. The ladies that serve the food are super friendly and usually remember your name after the first visit. They also have a grocery store with a huge raw meat department. You can also but the fully cooked products they serve in bulk, in case you get hooked like in did. I would definitely recommend the chicken with verde sauce

This is the ONLY grocery store on the East side of Temple. The meat selection is great, and the Mexican atmosphere is authentic! I shop there at least 3 or 4 times a week! Love it!

A low profile Hispanic grocery store with a taqueria inside. They sell many things you can’t find at other grocery stores but I recommend trying their wide selection of pan dulce and ordering some barbacoa.

It was between 12:30-1pm Smelled good food looked fresh. But the checkout lines were very long and moving slow. I will go by early next time.

Great place if you want authentic Hispanic food ingredients and supplies. Its a little on the older side but overall its good prices and good ingredients

They have Mexican Cokes. However, the manager doesnt believe a white girl can make Mexican pastries. Dont deal with racism well or theyd have gotten 5 stars.

They apparently changed ownership because they change their name to La Michoacana. And they change their prices way up high like almost double to Triple the price on their meat. I used to go here almost every weekend to get meat when it was way cheaper I would spend about 30 to $40 and now I spend 50 to $60 on meat for a family of three of course what I purchase usually last for lunch and dinner but still I think their prices are extremely high 6. 99 lb for fajita.. They have some sales going on occasionally.. But still prices to expensive & they went up on some other things i use to purchase. The taste is a tad different but nothing major then the one they had before. They did major renovations alot better then what it looked before.

Rudest people ever if they think you do not speak spanish! They have a gentleman named Juan Gonzalez who is job infected working there to my the meat and does not use any food saftey of any kind!!!

Horrible meat quality. Bought meat to make caldo de Res, it was nothing but fat and bone and the little bit of meat was so tuff. Will never buy meat at that meat market again.

It no longer has the name of Guanajuato. Its called Michocana. The quality of meat is better but well super expensive! They charged me 7 pounds of bone for broth $ 32.00. Everything in this store is expensive. Old and expensive vegetables and very bad sweet bread.

Now it is the Michoacana ..very clean..and very service.

The line to pay was super slow. Yes, they understood well, the row. A single cashier for 10 or more people wanting to pay, on Saturday at the middle of the day !!! I very much congratulate the person who decides how many cashiers to have, because thanks to this person a few clients left.
