I left the Merrimack Valley to live in RI, then in Western MA but I grew up shopping at Market Basket. Whenever I visit home MB is my second stop. Prices ate always better than all the other stores. Quality is always high and I know the staff make a living wage. I have family and friends who have been part of MB for decades. Meat, produce, bakery, frozen, prepared; its all good. Come and try them out. Truly more for your dollar.

This Market Basket is a bit larger than others in the area. It has a broader selection of many items including dairy-free beverages and creamers. The free coffee is a nice treat. I wish Market Basket would provide a non-dairy creamer to go with the free coffee.The fresh fruit and veggies are good quality and the Tower of Eat Me Now (reduced price veggies) often has a good selection early weekend mornings.

They are the best in the area, I highly recommend them.I go out of my way to shop there. Everyone goes above and beyond and my special thanks go to C.J at the produce section. Very knowledgeable and if you dont see what youre looking for at the shelve, he runs back inside to double-check without even thinking twice.

This store offers the best service. Ask any staff where an item is located and they will bring you right to that item . If they don’t know the answer, they find out the answer. It’s been this way for years and after going to other supermarkets, and asking staff the same questions, it reminds me how terrific Market Basket employees are! Plus the prices can’t be beat!

Your Fletcher Street,broadway st store in Lowell sells out of date food and it’s serious yogurt, mayonnaise, box food,, it’s totally ridiculous.Update-things have been better but today I asked the produce department if they had any fennel and she said “what’s fennel “ ? are you kidding me, she had to go in the back to ask someone what fennel was —and can you believe that nobody else did ether UNBELIEVABLE! Not a very good freezer selection, Marie calendars chicken Thigh and leg dinner they don’t even carry it. And when it snows you need more SALT on the sidewalk! And can anyone tell me the difference between these 100% percent wheat bread.

Prices are great. The pre made food is delicious. I am not from here but wish this had this back home.

Stadium Plaza market basket is probably the best one in the area. I drive across town to shop at this location. Although it is usually busy it is nothing compared to the other zoos that are called market basket.

They are doing there best, but lots of people are ignoring the aisle direction signs and yesterday there was a person stocking a shelf and actively coughing while doing it.

This store is just way too busy for me. Its hard to get what you want because they cant keep replenishing fast enough. Produce isnt always the best, often times theres product that should be rotated out and instead they leave it out so people are forced to buy it. I think sometimes they buy and stock too much produce because its not always crisp enough for my liking. They should take more pride in the produce dept., Or at least as much as they do for the not so good for you bakery dept. Bagging isnt always the best, certainly not the fastest. More effort (especially during this covid period) needs to be made in getting you out of line, through checkout and out of the store. When your moving this amount of product, theres no excuse in not having all registers firing.For me....the cost savings at this store are noticeable, but absolutely not worth what one has to trade off and endure.

This is one of the older style Market Baskets. Typically spotlessly clean and most of their stores. I think Market Basket is an excellent place to shop especially center store. This store does now have a prepared foods section and bakery. Nice store but all of their stores are at least good. It is a little dated but I found it a good experience.

Another great Market Basket to go to could have a bigger view of the road I almost didn’t even know it was there till I had seen it on the map but my first experience go in there it was very easy to find what I was looking for

Been shopping at the Stadium Plaza Market Masket since I have been able to drive a car. I shop at other market baskets on cape cod, in New Hampshire and market basket as far up as Biddeford Maine! So if you are going on vacation from Wells ME to Saco ME. Market Basket prices are there for you. Its right off the highway, so if you are heading up to the lakes region in Maine, You can shop before you arrive and save 100 dollars on food costs.Back to the Stadium plaza review...Clean store, well laid out, the staff is extremely friendly. They have an amazing and clean produce department and their meat department has great selections and carries specialty meats around certain holidays. If you think spend 30% less on identical food items you will find at other supermarkets ( one starts with an H and ends with ford) sounds like a great idea, then there is no reason not to shop at market basket. They are constantly adding more and more organic foods as well. Trust me when I say this... just because the food is cheap doesnt mean they skimp on quality or cleanliness. Those two factors are a huge deal to me when I am shopping for meats and produce. I have been to too many competing supermarkets where you just look at the meat and produce cases make you want to run away...

Extremely disappointed in the front end cashier managers, blue coat females Ashley and Lacey. I don’t write reviews, but what a HUGE disappointment to what Market Basket should be. These kids are the rudest people. There are kind, nice employees trying to do their jobs, but these so called managers are mean, bossy and 100% not team players from what I’ve personally seen. Many times while checking out, how rude they are to their teammates. What a shame. Kindness and understanding might help them in their future:(. I am so tired of coming to this store where the manager on duty this morning just threw his hands in the air and said i am going on break, rather than to deal with a complaint about no one monitoring the aisles, the deli people not following the numbers, taking people that just got there instead of the ones waiting, waiting to go down aisles where no one is watching people going down the aisles the wrong way. this store has gone down hill. from employees going down the wrong aisles to the cashier not having paper in the register. we got no receipt, and your milk etc.....many products expired. will not shop in here again. too many people trying to start fights and no one around to make sure our shopping experience goes smoothly. i am also going to send an email to corporate. my son has been doing my shopping for the last month while i recouperate from surgery, he has been walking out of the store and going to hannafords. what a shame this store has gone down hill, where managers walk away without helping you. roseann

The management here has a lot of nerve for making my teenage son go into a public bathroom in the middle of the Covid 19 pandemic and shave which he clearly has to do with out a face mask is awful and an abuse of power, this is the thanks he gets after working through out the pandemic. Although this wasnt my typical Market Basket, I was able to acquire all the items I desired. Due to their adequate supply of burger related items, I left the store with an elevated mood and dinner for eight. Thank you Market Basket, for extending my life and the lives of my friends.

I have been shopping with market basket. For over 50 and in this sad time i realized they are doing the best they can my delema is Im over 60 and handicap and find it very pain full standing for any length of time without having something to lean on or hold on to i usually grab a carriage in the parking lot or my son who usually takes me gets one for me i worry now. I wont beable to shop because if i can make 6 a.m. my son is not over 60.so Im on my own. But afraid Ill be unable to handle the lines if i go later. I feel i. Cant be the only person with this issue again i thank you for everything your doing to keep us all safe a life long costume

The employees are always helpful & friendly.The prices are good & not long ago the fish department had scallops for $9.99 which is incredible because normally the scallops are untouchable. Wondering if your employees will have to wear mask to ensure their safety?

Ever since the management rehabilitated most of its stores, they look much better. The stores a well stocked And the employees are well trained to serve the customers. Sometimes I think theyre overworked.The produce is inconsistent and I see significant and unexplained price fluctuations. Most of the stories have bakeries and facilities to dispense food, hot food. Although, I do think the hot food is somewhat overpriced.The shelves are well stocked. Sometimes its hard to find what you look for. If you speak to enough employees, they will usually direct you if not walk you, to the location of the item. Of course, it is assumes that it is in stock.For the foreseeable future, I will continue to be a regular customer.

Clean and fully staffed usually a quick in and out shopping experience. I love the food court hot and cold but it needs a cold drink case and its a one stop winner.

Everything I was looking for was well stocked, friendly and knowledgeable service, clean and well displayed, ample free parking and truly more for your dollar and I worked here in high school and college and continue to shop here decades later.

This store has just about every item you could want. If not the manager will get it in the store for you. Very smooth operation at this location

I moved to NC for about 4 months and I missed MB soooo BAD! My shopping experience was horrendous. Even when I tried to compensate by going to higher end grocery store such as Whole foods it was NOT the same. The service at MB, the history, the people, the products, and food is outstanding. I dont think Ill leave Massachusetts ever again. I LOVE MB!

I love MB but I really didnt appreciate when paying my groceries with cashier Janice at 1:09 pm her manager which I didnt get his name he was tall with dark hair, big nose, and young humiliated Janice in front of the customer just because she got confused. He said to her YOU GOTTA FOCUSED AND THEN HE STARTED TO MAKE FACES LIKE HE WAS ALREADY ANNOYED BY HER. But the worst part was that he left the site to gather another MOD and publicly started to complain about Janices performance and again I heard him thats when I said how unprofessional that man is!!! If an employee is making mistakes call the person to the office and address the issue, do not humiliate a person never mind in from of us THE CUSTOMERS, I dont know what other issues Janice had in the past but from my point of view I think this manager is a bully, mean and a disgraceful person to be part of MB family.
