Would not exchange my denomination of bills forlarger ones (told me they dont exchange monies)but you take large bills?? I have seen on severaloccasion where monies have been exchanged,use the Dri Mark pen, its used on us anyway..

Not my favorite grocery store. Definitely try not to shop here if I can help it. Roaches have been found in meat packs and produce is never fresh. Smells bad inside and the traffic surrounding the store isnt the safest.

If you want a clean, friendly place to shop, look no further, this grocery shop is all you need. They have everything you need. I like how wide their aisle was. It was indeed big and spacious. The staff was was so friendly as well.

Always first rate

I like shopping at Food Rite. It is clean, well stocked, some specialty items.. They have a great meat market and work with you on specialty orders. You wont find the lowest prices here because it is not a big box store. They do have a deli area, and tables to eat there if you want. Good choice of produce and good sales each week. I recommend it, and there is a donut shop nearby and a Subway. Several bus lines stop in their parking lot. Near Hwy 3 and 1765.

Meat is cheap. Everything else is very expressive

I highly advise anyone to not buy food from here especially if ur hungry and need your money, I bought some sandwich bread and in the middle of eating my sandwich I realized I was eating mold and then I checked the other slices, each bread slice had mold, the Borden cheese I bought had no expiration date and was the worst tasting thing I’ve ever eaten, luckily I didn’t go with car otherwise I would of picked up a trunk full of garbage.Ps. Most of these good rating comments are extremely biased and are by people who either work there or are trying to work there, no real person writes a review on why their experience at a grocery store was so great

It is the closest grocery store to my home, so it is more convenient as far as distance. However, many times I go to other grocery stores because this one overprices most items, the bakery is not fresh, and the customer service is horrible. I have checked out several times without a hello, your total is, or even eye contact. It is not good when you have to make a cashier speak to you. If you have a little bit more gas and are not tired go a little further down the road.

I LOVE this store, they have stuff that you cannot buy at other stores. Theres always a good selection of oxtail & theres usually always rabbit for some great dumping stew. SO were very happy with the store theyre always precooked lunch plates being served or you can buy stuffed pork chops, quail or freshly made boudin. All of it is just great!

Great deals on food items but very picky on hiring people. Been here for a year and asking for a job but always not hiring and everytime i go and shop there i always see different employees to say their not hiring. Love to shop there but would not suggest trying to work there. They have they picks. Not fair for job opportunities.

The store was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful. Of course they do not carry as much as a large chain store, but they carry familiar brands with a nice lunch counter also. They have lots of link sausage in their meat case that seemed to be made in store. Im going to give it a try the next time Im in. Their frozen section is well stocked along with the refrigerated section. Plenty of bread, milk, eggs and most anything else you might need. If you are in the area give a try. Try to ignore the occasional pan handlers.

The place is nasty. It stinks and its dirty and I would never eat anything that comes from this giant health department nightmare. The owner is rude and the place itself is in the middle of a ghetto. Theres always bunch of thugs hanging around in the parking lot and I did not feel safe at all when I had to go there for some medicine for my child, who, incidentally, got his bike stolen from right in front of their doors when he went with some friends to get a soda a few days before Christmas. From now on, I think Ill just jump in the car and drive over to Kroger or HEB. They both have better prices, theyre clean, and I dont fear for my life when I walk across their parking lots.

This place is a nice store pretty cozy it has just about everything that you could need for your grocery shopping and even better it has a deli with hot food with a good selection of food really complaint that I have about it is that the bathrooms are not that good and it could use some updating on the floors but other than that its an okay place to go

This is the neighborhood store where I shop. Its convenient and the employees are helpful and friendly. The location is perfect when I dont want to drive to Walmart or one of the chain stores.

Prices are not marked properly. Prices are high. Feel like theyre taking advantage of the people who cant make it to other grocery stores. Theres not another one for 4 to 5 miles. This place is right in the middle of the neighborhood.
