I am a 40 year old vet racer that just got back into two strokes. I sent my 2001 rm 125 cylinder to Rat Racing for replating. The replating job was completed and sent back to me with in a week. The work was good and the price was good as well. The only problem I had was it looked like the cylinder must have fallen off of a bench and hit the floor. My power valve plug for the spring would not fit in because of the dent that damaged the housing. I called them back and they took responsibility for the head. They sent it off to their machine shop and I headed back into 8 days. My overall experience was very good. The only reason Im not giving them a five is because of the mess hap. Yes I would use them again.Things happen no matter who you use. I like use local business. The big picture is that they do good work and did the right thing. That is aces in my book.

Took over 3 weeks to get our cylinder plated due to technical difficulties. I was as patient as one can be. When it was finally completed, I had asked to expedite shipping to get it in time for a race. Rat said it would be shipped 2 or 3 day via UPS. Not only was it not expedited, it was shipped UPS Ground. For the same cost, USPS would have got it to me.Not to mention, the several times I called and was told Id be called back. Then the times there was no answer at all. This went on for 3 weeks. All the while, I never lost my composure. If I had known this was going to happen, I would have blown up long ago!!!I came back to RAT after many years. Unfortunately, my experience will never allow me to go back!8-22 it was sent out. Ill receive it a full 4 weeks after it was shipped.I was given a $40.00 credit for the trouble. I would have paid to buy a new cylinder instead!#not cool
