This was the first time we used Yamaha Texas City and it will not be the last. What a great experience it was dealing with Jim and team members. We were greeted at the door and asked what we needed and directed to Jim. Jim explain the entire process for dropping and stretching my wife bike. Jim went above and beyond helping us locate and the necessary parts. Once the parts arrive he completed the job in a timely manner. Jim informed us of other electrical problems and we advised to please fix them. The bike looks and works amazing. Jim is definitely a great employee for the Yamaha company. We will return for further work needed on the bike.Thank you Yamaha !!!

I want to thank Bill for the whole crew over at Texas Yamaha Gulf Coast for helping me get into my new Yamaha Tracer 900 GT. Quick and painless, like new vehicle purchases should be. They are very transparent with their pricing and the costs they have to pass on to you, and they have the best (cheapest) freight and prep in the city of Houston. While others have gone into almost gouging territory with these costs, Texas Yamaha and Gulf Coast provides a very reasonable rate for this. Would highly recommend.

Very easy and nice experience buying my 2021 MT-03 bike. Agreed on pricing over phone. Put in a small deposit to hold the bike for a week. Went in got financing and bought it in less than an hour. Even test rode it in parking lot. They were kind enough to even deliver it to my house. Only thing they could have done better is to better explain about the maintenance needed ( as I’m first time bike owner), basic things to buy as a new owner, and also adjust the shocks for my weight. Ride was bumpy and my neighbor indicated that the shocks need to be adjusted for the rider. Dealer agreed to do that next time I go in though. My neighbor helped me buy a few basic things like swing arm spools. Trickle charger, etc. Overall a good experience.

I have been here several times there is no enthusiasm with some of the employees except the young white guy at the counter. Some of the staff seem as though they really dont want to make a connection or sale, will go to another dealer. Example went in and starting looking at the bikes no one said hello or can I help you so I went to the counter and the guy who has a personality called over to the guy sitting at the front entrance and he came over, not a friendly guy to say the least. Sorry I call it like it is. It is a shame you try and stay within your hometown and you have these situations, I really wanted to buy a Yamaha street bike, not here.

Paid cash. 50 miles after riding it home it stalled. Fuel system was rusted out and was a flood bike. Not only did they not help but blamed me for it. This company will gladly sell lemons. I will never get my money back unless i get a lawyer but i hope this review sways one person to avoid this place. Or at very least have bike inspected by a trust worthy mechanic. This place is not trust worthy at all. Feel free to reach out to me i will gladly provide pics of state bike was in and the sales paper work. And the invoice for them charging me 300$ to flush out fuel injectors for the lemon they sold me.

Visited a few weeks ago attempting to gain further information on a direction we wanted to go with a couple particular models. The general manager seamed rather knowledgeable though later I confirmed some of the provided informations was definitely not true. The GM stated what I am looking for is not popular in this market though I could order a new one. I believe that a dealer should be knowledgeable of all products available, especially on a new model and the last thing to do is give false information to a very technical person/potential customer. I have no problem with someone not knowing certain information, just don’t guess/lie. Look into it to find the correct answer. After an awkward exchange trade off to a salesperson, I was allowed to test drive a gas cart, though I want an electric. While test driving, I did feel like I was being watched like I was the rowdy kid in a playground. No trust was built with me, no probing questions were asked of my needs and unfortunately I won’t be ordering from here. It did appear that there were some nice gas carts here and a plethora of wheel and accessories in stock.

Rip off! The tall sales guy was going to give me a free seat but instead charged me an extra $800 when buying the Honda Bolt. When looking over the papers I didnt feel right so I searched the web on these fees and decided they were charging too much and walked away. The sales guy got extremely upset at me when inquiring about the fees and said are you calling me a liar and stormed out to take the free seat from my wife.Interest rate: the rate is based on your credit score, the sales guy told me I had a low credit score and was just over the line to be accepted. He then gave me 13% interest rate. Its been two weeks since I walked out and I just got an approval letter from GE telling me I can still buy the bike. My score on the approval letter was 45 points higher than what he said and was not just over the approved score. Why did he do this? Glad you asked....because I was in the finance industry, I understand interest rates. By him increasi g my interest rate, he would get additional money from the bank by selling me a higher interest rate.Bottom line, they are crooks.

Took my 2015 Star Raider in for a tire change. When I picked the bike and got it home I notice the rim had one big chip and several on both sides. The manager Craig stated that he knew they damaged it. Even tho he admitted they knew about the damage they still let me take the bike home. He even admitted they used non coated tire tools on the rim while changing the tire. So, I took the rim off my bike and delivered it to him so he could send it to CoachWorks to have it refinshed. When I picked up the rim at Texas Yamaha south, it was not back to factory quality. You can see where they did half ass touch up and there were now scuffs on the inside of the rim. When I pointed this out to Craig he told me point blank, thats all Im going to do for you.Im currently waiting on a call back from Yamaha corporate after they talk to Craig. Not blaming all of Yamaha dealerships, just saying the one in Texas city dont use proper tools, use shady 3rd party paint shops, and they certainly dont care about their customers.

I needed a real machanic for my Suzuki C90T Boulevard.Found one at Texas Yamaha La Marque.James kimball..The way I was treated by James kimball and the other sales associates.WAs warm and welcoming.Didnt hear I dont know, Im not sure.He and they asked what I wanted.Made additional suggestions (I am still somewhat ignorant).Got my information, got right back with me and set an appointment to change my second of the two tires they helped me with.No miss matching..The tires made one hell of a better grab to the road surface. They were just a bit pricey .But I no longer believe that part🤓I tried to get Mancuso down the street to help me..They sold me the perfect machine for me.But didnt follow upon tried twice to get them in the mix. They failed to return phone calls and E mails for both tires.James informed me of a few things, and once as I showed up, out of the blue.Asked if someone could look at my front tire..James set down his tools got up walk to my bike.. took 5 minutes to give his honest opinion.Others concurred his opinion.I feel safe on my mid life crisis machine, thanks to James and the professionals at Texas Yamaha LA MARQUE.Thank you .For the feeling of safe.I drive up to 1200 miles a month on this cruiser.P.S. you guys need a much larger show room.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Took a part in there to get fixed so it could come with a warranty. I PAID EXTRA SO I COULD FIX MY PROBLEM! Within 5 months, the part failed. Took it back to get the warranty part and they declined. They told me it was my fault (even though they put in the part themselves) and when I told them the situation and how their part and their warranty should be covered, they argued with me. Long story short, save yourself from this nightmare and take your money elsewhere. Trust me.

Customers first right? So here is a summary of my experience with these guys. I moved to Galveston and needed tires on my 2006 V-Star 1100 which I had had for over 2 years without issue. After they were replaced I drove 80 miles to my sisters house, bam, the driveshaft broke. I had my bike towed back to the shop and they said that it would take $3,200 to fix it and even then they might not be able to, so the bike was left with them. Two days later my dad and I returned and bought a BRAND NEW Star 1300 for $11,000 and my dad got himself a used bike they had there as well. During the sale of my NEW motorcycle they told me that they would organize a way to deliver my old, now useless, motorcycle to my place about 14 miles away in Galveston. Throughout the next 4 or 5 months we spent money on oil changes and I bought a $380 back rest from them, and every time we went they asked over and over about when we were picking my old motorcycle up(when they didnt honor their agreement to be able to deliver it when I bought a brand new bike from them). We also both got the feeling that there was some hostility between them and us and I hated going there due to feeling like they didnt want us there. My dad was there to drop off his bike and I went out back to look at my old bike, when the salesman came out and asked me when I was going to pick it up. Upon my reply of how they had said they would deliver it he went to his truck and hid in it so I couldnt continue the conversation. They did finally deliver my bike to me today though, when it broke down and has been there since May. Today my dad and I went to the Texas city location to pick up his bike that needed some service and were greeted with confrontation about an email I had sent Texas Yamaha about the whole situation and was wondering if I could have anything done about the bike that was shortly ruined after a tire change from this place. Ultimately it ended in me walking out with nothing nice to say and the mechanic (who had recently been very nice and pleasant towards us) yelling at my dad and acting extremely condescending in my fathers words to the point that my dad came to me in the parking lot telling me, I think the mechanic wants to kick your ass!. I just wanted to see if I could get any help with my old bike seeing as how it seems too coincidental that they did work on it and now its useless. My effort was ended with confrontation and explanations to why I am wrong. To me it just seems like ever since I questioned what happened with my drive shaft they have been very short with me and made it clear that we werent there as a customer but as a walking dollar sign. This is a chain store with the ones in Pasadena and Webster and I would advise (from my personal opinion) to drive elsewhere to get service done.

On or about Sept 19th. I called Gulf Coast Yamaha dealer in Texas City and spoke to Greg. I told Greg I had a v star 1100 that I believed needed to have the carbs rebuilt. Since it had been sitting up for a few months. I told him what it was doing and he agreed. He gave me a price of 239.00 labor plus parts. He said parts, if it needs em might run 100.00. The price sounded fair. Since it was my brothers motorcycle, I arranged with my brother to borrow a trailer and get it over there on Sat Sept 24th. I reminded Greg when we got there of our conversation and reconfirmed his labor and parts estimate. He agreed. I reconfirmed the estimate of $239 labor plus parts that might be as much as $100 bringing to the cost to $300-$350. I told him that price was fine as all I had to spend was $400. The following week I get a call from Matt telling me that it needed to have the carbs rebuilt and the total cost is $428.00. He said Gregg was off on his labor cost quote. Since it was a pain in the ass to borrow a trailer and get it their I told him to go ahead and fix it. When my brother picked it up two days later I let Gregg know on the phone I was not happy and I would never use them again. He threatened to charge me for the fuel they put in my brothers tank after draining the old gas out and it was an extra $80 to do that. I said an extra $80 to turn a petcock? He said we had to take the tank off. Now, the thing is, you have to take the tank off anyway to work on the carbs. Of course he wasnt sure about that. But, I know for a fact, you do. Basically I feel like, they knew how much I had to spend and they, as I told him squeezed that and a bit more out of me. My advise. Be very careful if your considering using these guys. I personally wont. I dont do business like that.

Someone should let the owner know that it is nearly as bad a form to leave your own company a 5 star review as it is to shirk your responsibilty as a Yamaha dealer to provide warranty service. I have an area about 3 inches square on the hull of my 1 week old $12,000.00 VXR Waverunner with 8 hours on it where the paint is just chunked off. Texas Yamaha denied warranty coverage on it, stating that it is some mysterious impact damage. There is a pic posted in the comments section of this page. This delamination is inside the intake tunnel, and the grey area is smooth, naked hull. Note the large bubbles. These skis have had ongoing, documented paint issues, with nightmarish warranty service. Search waverunner paint problem for more info. I cant post a pic or link here, but a quick search will bring up a thread with pics on the GreenHulk jetski forum.
