I dont care for coffee (Ive been trying to force myself to like it. Yes, its silly), and even I was happy here. I got a caramel macchiato and I really enjoyed it. My husband didnt like his espresso, but hes beyond picky when it comes to coffee. I will 100% be back to try different things!

I liked the vibe of this coffee shop. I liked the pour over I drank. There is very fast free wifi.

My favorite coffee spot up North. Good coffee with a rotation of seasonal drinks; staff is always friendly; easy to find a seat upstairs, downstairs, or outside; parking is simple.I wish they would be open past 5 p.m. but staff needs a life and there might not be enough clientele for those hours up here.I dont think they carry soy milk. Not a big deal; Im probably in the minority that prefers soy to oat or almond. I stick with whole milk when Im here.Nothing but love for this place.

Great spot in the North Houston area. Have stopped here quite a few times for great coffee and casual work meetings. The place is well styled, baristas are always friendly, and the coffee is always top notch. Multiple milk options too. I had a couple (yep, a couple) oat milk cappuccinos last time and they were great. Plus a nice assortment of bars, croissants, and light fare.Good amount of parking outside. Plus ample seating downstairs, upstairs, and outside on courtyard too.Go check it out! You won’t be disappointed in this local coffee shop.

First time here. Got a hot coffee, a Bear Claw, and a Red Velvet Muffin. Staffers were friendly and atmosphere was very welcoming. Service was fast. Coffee was good and satisfying. Sweets were also very good. Very satisfied with this visit and am glad I came.

Tasty pastries and always good coffee. I generally get regular coffee, cappuccinos and they are always good. I usually perform my own coffee rituals at home, but if I dont have time or im out and about and need my caff fix, this is my preferred spot in the Woodlands.

I frequent this spot as a nice spot to study and relax. It nails the coffeeshop atmosphere while delivering stellar drinks and a tasty bakery. A perfect alternative to the large coffee chains.

Excellent specialty coffee and fantastic service with a very clean and cozy environment.I look at three things right away at coffee shops:Do they care about their beans? Yes, roast dates on everything, and offer single source beans.Do they have decent machines? La Marzocco. Enough said.Do they have a good atmosphere? Third Gen smashes this one. Decent amount of space on main floor, but the loft is perfect for studying and even has a convenient restroom.

I get espresso beans from Third Gen. the flavor is very rich, delicious and just so good! Staff is polite and cheerful. They grind them for me to use at home in my budget espresso maker and Ill probably never go back to Starbucks for beans. I also pick up a Latte or Flat White occasionally and am always very happy with it.

I WANT to like this place. It is locally owned and it has a nice neighborhood vibe. The problem is theyre charging high quality prices for medium quality service/product. I ordered a chai tea from them, and it was honestly so sweet and plasticky tasting that I had to throw it out.I ordered a drink with soy,and they not only dont have soy but they dont even tell you their dairy alternatives...just no soy. You have to start listing alternatives yourself until you hit on one that they have in stock. Once again, not a huge problem except that their pricing makes you think that youll have options like soy. They also dont have sugar free latte flavors--another issue only because of their top tier pricing making me assume theyd have more options for diabetics, etc.

I was looking for a mom and pop coffee shop and entered this little coffee joint. It’s very posh and stylish almost as if I was having coffee at Nordstrom or Saks fifth Avenue. I ordered a iced white mocha latte and it was surprisingly good and priced reasonably. I wanted to give them a five star rating but I felt like they could work on customer service. While there they were rude about another customer not wearing a mask. I also paid cash and they were hesitate about taking cash and insisted on me using correct change or credit card. My bill was $11 and some change, so I tried to pay with a $20 and they quickly said credit only, So I gave them $ 12 bucks and said keep the change. But it makes no sense if it’s only credit then post it at the Door and I would know what to expect. I also wouldn’t give them my business I believe cash is king and what keeps Americans going.

Very uniqe and cozy coffee place! I like a mood and an environment pretty much. The staffs were very nice and kind. Their service was awesome! I ordered an iced coffee, but the taste is not fresh and good enough. My friends ordered flat lattes(?), and they said theirs were pretty good. Maybe next time, the taste of iced coffee will be better.

WARNING: THE BEST ESPRESSO IN THE UNIVERSEWARNING: THIS PLACE IS ADDICTING.Ive been going here since May 2020 after my old coffee shop closed down due to COVID. They have the best coffee I have ever had. I have come to the conclusion I am addicted to it so be careful.It started with just a cup once or twice a week. But my addiction grew to every day and eventually 8-9 times a week. Well my husband and my wallet were not fans of this, so he got me my own espresso machine. I did research on the best espresso to use (ILLY from Italy) but alas it could not compare to the deliciousness of 3rd Gens coffee. And so my addiction continued.Until finally, I got the bright idea to ask if I could buy a bag of whole beans and have them grind it for me. Now I can satisfy my addiction from my home if I want using 3rd Gen Beans.3rd Gen Coffee Beans hands down beat what espresso aficionados say is the best coffee in the world.Conclusion? Third Gen Coffee is the best Coffee in the Universe!Now I just have to solve my 3rd gen Egg and Cheese bagel with siracha mayo addiction......

Theres not many places you can order a Chemex Coffee. Your coffee here comes in a large cup loaded with flavor. The cheese danish is very buttery and Flaky with delicious thick cream cheese filling. Loved it

Cozy place. I had a caramel macchiato. The espresso was strong, but it didnt overpower the entire drink. It was full of flavor, not too sweet with a creamy, frothy finish. Beautifully done! It was quite crowded and I had to wait a bit (good sign right) but it was well worth the wait. I wil definitely return!😊

As a coffee enthusiast, this shop really appealed to me. The beans are locally roasted, fresh, and well brewed. This resulted in espresso that was bright and full bodied. Plus, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Third Gen Coffee is the only coffee shop I would recommend visiting in or near The Woodlands.

The environment was nice and peaceful and my coffee was delicious.

Third Gen Coffee was AMAZING! I love coffee and love to find actual coffee shops that arent national chains, and Third Gen Coffee not only fit that bill, but also had great coffee as well! If you are into cold brew definitely check out their Tropical Cold Brew, Its delicious! My girlfriend and I are so happy to have found such a great coffee shop! Check it out!

Super disappointed, drove 40 minutes to get here and asked for cinnamon in my latte, she barley added any. The coffee is very acidic. I got the 12oz coffee for more than 5 dollars ! Way too expensive for the amount of coffee, not worth the price. Cute location but no one should be charged that much for that amount of coffee.

Delightful local coffee shop! The drinks were well made with good attention to detail, and at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is modern, with plenty of room to spread out a computer/books.

So glad to have them near by as my go to coffee place. The staff is very professional and friendly. The actual coffee is very good quality, lots of options and their expresso drinks are excellent. The baristas are very skilled, my favorite lately has been the honey oat latte. Very consistent in quality and flavor. The front door is a bit of a struggle and the outside area is not as well kept as the indoors. Overall my favorite coffee shop in town. I just wish they open longer hours.------Also kudos for practicing safety measurements during covid-19 without sacrificing quality and service. Same during the last freeze event when we were all struggling they kept their doors open with the same hrs, quality, service and professionalism.
