This place smells like a butcher shop, and rarely has price tags on anything, but they have excellent cuts of meat, and this may be the last grocers any of us will ever see that has an actual butcher on site. You can ask questions about the cuts of meat and the deals. Yes, one of the butchers is a little gruff. Ive never found him to be unfriendly, or unhelpful; I just assumed he was a Yankee. Their produce is good, and they have good prices on cigarettes.

It is always awesome to come 45 minutes from home to come here. Eddie and all the people here are super sweet and so much customer service. Even the young kids at the register are polite & kind. Hard to find that in the younger generation. Love love love this place.

By far the best place to get meat. Yes may be a tad more than other places, but assure you its worth it. Theres an obvious taste in the difference of each meat than if bought at other places. If they dont have what you want on shelves, just ask and they fix it for you. They have great meat packages too. No you may cant swoop out for other meats but thats prob due to price difference too. Slaw, barbeque, and Brunswick stew are simply amazing as well. The best Ive had. They go above and beyond to make their customers happy. Thankful for this place in our town. 💗

Usually everything looks very fresh. Good deals for those who dont mind eating pork. I am not a pork fan so the deals I buy I keep the chicken and beef and give the pork products away. It would be great if they allowed you to get chicken or beef in place of the pork.

Ive been going in and out of this wonderful superette since I was old enough to walk growing up delivering milk with my father kim montgomery before God called him home in 2014 when he owned and operated thomaston milk company and still support this wonderful place by purchasing all my meats through them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great prices on the meat . One of the guys that works in the meat Dept is so rude! Every time my husband and I come in there we always end up with him helping us . We always get the 51.99 meat deal and every time he has such a rude attitude about it . He throws the meat slings things around . I can take my money else where . If you hate your job that bad them find another one .

This is a meat market that has beautiful CLEAN cut meat. They are VERY PROFESSIONAL with FANTASTIC customer service. They WILLINGLY load their ccustomers vehicle. Their prices for meat is great, however, shelf items can be somewhat steep. I love this place!!

The best place to get all your fresh meats. Very friendly and very clean supermarket. And prices are great. Will not shop any where else. Thank you for being such a wonderful place to shop.

I am a bit torn on my opinion here. Their meats are beautiful and fresh and the staff all seem very friendly, but I am definitely not a fan of the fact that rarely anything in the store has prices marked on them, so it is basically a guessing game as to the costs. Even with their meats, unless you are getting a bundle package there is no prices marked on them and the prices seem to fluctuate.

Love this little place ❤️ . The steaks have the best taste. I eat my steak with salt and pepper nothing to cover the taste of the meat and you dont need anything if you get your meat from Northside superette. (Love the cube steak too)
