I love this Dollar General store and the location. The clerks are always super helpful and friendly. This store is always stocked well, clean and uncluttered. Its easy to find whatever youre shopping for. 5*s ALL the way!

We live very close to this location and have frequented it since it opened. In that time, we have watched the slow but steady decline of inventory, store organization, and customer service, especially over the last several years. Despite a recent remodel, youd be hard-pressed to find an employee actually at a register when youre ready to check out, and while self checkout is great, there are certain things you just cant use it for (cash transactions, gift cards, buying alcohol, cigarettes, or lighters). Employees, when they are visible, are frequently lazy, unwilling to or unfriendly in helping, and the store is very unorganized and unclean. Many employees are often busy texting or talking to someone via Bluetooth earpiece while checking out customers. They are frequently out of common items, and they are keenly aware of but do nothing about known issues with others - flat soft drinks, etc. Recently, theyve opted not to turn on the air conditioning, which isnt any employees fault, but still worth mentioning. There have been several times in the last year that the store has had to close early, or hasnt opened on time, because they couldnt find anyone to work. All around unprofessional behavior. This used to be a great store...not so much these days.

The staff was actually friendly however just because youre an inexpensive store doesnt mean it has to look that way. Ive worked in retail & no how to keep a store clean. I will say your Old Greensboro Rd store is cleaner than some but could still use some work.

Staff was very friendly however the OVERALL STORE is just a complete wreck. Isles are WAY too close together, items and merchandise layout is very disappointing, out of order and chaotic. Also item availability and stocked shelves are limited

This particular dollar general is neat and orderly. They have certain items at a really good price. You still have to do your homework in order to comparison shop. I found an expensive shampoo here for $5 when it would cost $7 online.

Its great for quick easy in and out trips.

Friendly staff. No wait lines. Just one complaint. Everywhere on outside and inside it says for customers to wear masks. I’m older and wear mine wherever I go. But no employee wears one. I find myself dodging them to at least get 6 ft apart when asking a question. I’ve been in there several times in the past few weeks and not one employee is wearing a face shield while at the same time talking to you.

Its a Dollar General. Nothing to add to it and nothing to take away from their business. It was a quick stop off the highway & convenient for me at the time. A few staff workers was courteous & professional. A good quick stop!

The prices are good on most items.There is a cashier in the store, that sometimes isnt very nice. But sometimes he can be helpful. It is probably because he is younger, and doesnt understand the importance of good customer service.

This store is amazing!! Very clean and fully stocked, if an item isnt on the shelf an employee gladly will go to the back and see if it is there .Each associate that works in this store are very friendly and are beyond helpful! I really enjoy shopping in this store and recommend it to everyone

This DG is clean, well stocked and always helpful and friendly. Manager Tasha is always super friendly and will go out of her way to make a situation right. Her assistant managers and cashiers are some of the nicest people.

Place was cluttered and they couldnt give back change. Could only pay with card or exact change

No beer in the cooler ( Bud light ) plentiful display of hot beer. I had to ask a clerk to check out, she replied he ll be up there. No greeting nothing. Store is dirty and disorganized. No wonder their stock is so low on the market!

Great variety of things at a very good price

The place was a mess with only 1 person there who was running a cash register. There was a long line and one customer seemed to be doing her weekly shopping which held up the line especially since there was some kind of problem with her payment. After a good 10-15 minutes 2 other employees finally showed up. These stores are getting worse (not just this one) and from now on I will not shop there and will tell others not to as well.

Great customer service. So happy they were open I forgot my lunch, 10 hours at work without lunch wouldnt of been fun.

I go here first when I am doing my monthly big shopping trip then go to Wal-Mart and the grocery store. Its a good place to pick up craft items, basic household items and snacks.

They had toilet paper! They had food & household items other stores have been out of.

Good. Their bread is as good as a top favorite of mine.

Nearby and convenient, particularly since we lost our wal- mart express. The parking lot is tight, though. Nothing to be done about that. It is a genuine pain getting in and out in even a small car. Staff always friendly.

Its torn up outside & inside is dirty. Aisle are blocked by boxes in cages & I couldnt get to the items I needed. The place had a line to the back of the store, but the cashier was friendly enough. Thats why 3 stars instead of 1... the cashier was trying hard & was very nice given the situation.

I like this place a lot. Its my go to place in K-ville. The portions are huge and its cheap with being low quality. Get a roll if you go, theyre homemade and amazing.

Will never shop at this location. Had an alteration with a male cashier who should have lost his job for how he reacted to a friend and I. Was hostile and acted like he was genuinely crazy after getting upset at us for his misunderstanding of coupons.

They had a big sale and we got lots of good stuff really cheap!! Like sheets for 7,50, candles for 1.30 ea.,and a throw for 3.00 you just cant beat it!!!!

Not as many items to get organized as I had hoped but did find several things I could make work. Also found several things I had just seen elsewhere for $1.00 at a higher price. Ill always check the other place first.

Only one man Spoke to me at all when I was in There...... There was no buggies to be found and then I realized when I left I had him hidden behind some of those outside Stands..... One girl walked by me and dont even speak to me

When i went to dollar genral they had every thing i ever wanted like lots of candy plant seeds chairs bubbles ballons and best of all moveies i would watch evry day and they only cost little i go to dollar general every day now to get toys bubbles and candy and moveie and every time i go i give money to chairty isnt thet nice of me to give some money to chairty i love chairty because it helps pepole thats sick and that way the hospitals can stay open ans so pepole can get better😀
