I was told about SCB guns by another person. They said I should stop in and that it was a very good shop. I have to say they were wrong. This is a great shop!!!! They try to have a little of everything and do a great job at it. By far the best thing they have are their people.They are very friendly and extremely helpful. They have another loyal customer and I will advise all of my friends of this great shop.Thank you guys for creating what a gun store should be.

This place is great good selection of guns and huge selection of knives all prices are great. They have anything you need guns,ammo and knives. The service is great really. They really make you feel welcome.

The gentlemen that work there were so very helpful in selling me the correct gun for me. As a female that doesnt know much about guns they took the time needed for me to get the purchase right. If they were just salesmen they could have sold me a much more expensive gun and holster but they made sure I was comfortable with the gun I purchased. These are professionals not just salesmen.

Have purchased a .45 from this business plus much ammunition all at great prices. The sales help was very respectful and courteous during every visit.

Normally, I love this shop. However, today was a different story! I entered the store knowing exactly what I wanted and was greeted by a very helpful and polite gentleman (the tall one). Mind you the pistol I wanted was is 50 dollars cheaper at academy sports, but I like to spend local when I can. I began to fill out my application and received a phone call, this is when another man(the shorter one) called my name. I immediately hung up my call, in attempts to not be rude. I was met with an instant attitude and eye rolling by this man. I asked “are you ok?” He responded with.... “not really, I need your concealed permit”. Mind you he said this with attitude. I then told him never mind, I would take my business to academy. He then responded with “good. Hope you don’t wreck on the way.”. I want to express my thanks to the first gentleman, and feel bad not giving him the sale. If there is a day when he is the only one working, I will gladly come back. I have shopped there numerous times and bought weapons, ammo, and other items. Sadly that may be my last trip to the store. Customer service is huge in the retail industry and should not be overlooked. The “hope you don’t wreck on the way” comment was the nail in the coffin. Really hope this does not happen to anyone else. Sad when small local businesses lose a sale and I do feel bad. However, I refuse to be treated or talked to in that manner. If it was not for the first gentleman, I would have rated this a zero.

Great prices, great people with a vast amount of knowledge on every single firearm and accessory in the establishment. My only complaint is not having enough money to buy more and they aren’t open every day, other than that it’s one of my favorite places in Thomasville.

I had tried to get a certain long gun for quite a while. Brian advised he could get it and another long gun I wanted a s well. Not only did he get both guns, but due to a shipping problem and a missed phone message on my part, I showed up to get the guns while the store was closed for vacation. I called and talked to Brian who went out of his way to get an employee to come in, complete all the paperwork and deliver my guns as promised. Totally OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Will be back!!

Originally gave a 1 star. I would not recommend this store for gun smithing for Any carbine style gun multiple issues and never was able to have a working gas block, 3 trips were made for correction. It never happend. I ended up taking gun to West Mountain Tradeing and sure enough 1 trip and again have a working gun. I will not go into details of issues found. That was my ine star review. I upgraded to 2 stars becacuse SCB at least made it right by giving my money back for the work. On a positive side they have some really good prices for purchase on new guns. But you shoikd compare to Palmetto State Armory before makeing purchase.

I bought a new Walther P22 from this store on October 29th. It was a requested gift for my wife. She decided she didnt want it. I brought it back unused on November 9th. I was offered 50% of the value of the gun. If you buy from them, dont expect a refund.
