Brought my truck in, after going several other spots. EVERYONE was understaffed. Mike was honest about the time it would take to repair what he found to be wrong. I waited. Spoke to him briefly last week. He assured me my truck would be ready this Wednesday. It was.🙂

Absolutely best shop and tire company in town.

They cross threaded my lug nut and said that the lug nut was faulty. The tire technician stripped out my Lugnut and stud, And refused to help me replace the nut and the lug And wanted me to leave the property for suggesting they should fix what they broke. They were the only ones that I had put tires on my truck the whole time I had it and it all comes to an end. Steven was a real butt hole.I do not recommend this place of business.

We were traveling through Georgia when our camper blew a tire. Called several places and tifton said they had what we needed. They greeted when we pulled in, waved us to the side, and two workers began changing our tires. We had two tires changed and were in and out within 30 minutes. Staff were friendly and efficient! I called to get pricing on tires for my wifes Subaru. The gentleman was super helpful in suggesting and pricing the tires. Advised he could have them later that day so I made an appointment for the next morning. He stated it would be about 30 minutes in/out and in my head I laughed. Showed up the next morning and in 40 minutes I was back on the road. I was shocked!! Tires are great and car rides super smooth. Will be back

Pulled in on a Friday morning at 8 oclock with a screw in my tire. The man says pull your truck up over here. The kid had the tire off the truck before my girlfriend got out of the truck. $15 does it get any better than that. Took 15 minutes. Highly recommend this shop.

I was travelling through with my pickup towing a travel trailer RV when my brakes started smoking. I ended up having to be towed and I chose Tifton General Tire as they were nearby and had good reviews and they had a big enough lot so I could put my camper there while they fixed the pick up. They got to repairing it right away and got me back on the road in a short amount of time and they didnt fleece me like a lot of places on the price. Their repair cost was very reasonable. They even helped me hitch the pickup truck back to the camper, how much nicer can you get? Super nice, good people! Thank you so much! A+++++

Quick service and very friendly employees. That seems to be a trend if you read all the other reviews. Prices were very fair, the was another place that quoted me a price for tires that was a few dollars cheaper, but it sounded like I was bothering them just by calling. Ultimately decided to go with General Tire and will continue to do so when I am in the area.

Getting some new tires! My mud tires looked great, but they were loud, rough, and the gas mileage was horrible. So time to switch to some highways tires and these guys were super helpful and the price was very reasonable.

If I could give 6 stars I would. We called with problems on our brakes for our motorhome late on a Tuesday night. They came out early the next morning and checked the brakes which were fine. Their pricing was more than fair and they were awesome. Thank you for being so great!!

Somebody give me some advice: took my vehicle (2015 Buick Encore) to #tiftongeneraltire in Tifton to be repaired for stalling, jerking during acceleration, idling funny & also a squealing noise that was going on. Check engine light was also on. I spoke with the manager first to assure they even fixed these types of issues...I was told yes & bring it in. Left the car there for a day as requested to be diagnosed. By close of business the mechanic hadnt called, so I reached out to him. He stated that the problems I was having were due to a hole in my a/c line & freon was leaking on my belt causing the squealing noise. Mind u, my air was blowing frigid cold & the belt seemed stable, but hey, Im not a mechanic 🤷🏾‍♀️ I asked if this would repair the issues & he said yes. He priced parts & labor & my estimate was $560.. unfortunately, after repair & $542.43 paid, my car is still doing EVERYTHING it was doing previously...so, I had diagnostics done with another facility...just like clockwork, the mechanic told me the REAL issues. Mass airflow sensor & the noise came from faulty pulleys, all of which should have been caught by an experienced mechanic right? Smh, needless to say, Tifton General Tire doesnt want to fix what was asked in the first place. Actually the managers approach was I understand where you are coming from, but we fixed your air & replaced a belt 🤦🏾‍♀️what good is air if the car wont run IDIOT?!? Im assuming if an engine goes out, youll replace the windshield wipers huh? They are thieves at best😡

Had an unexpected flat on our camper while traveling. Called ahead and spoke with the owner. He had the tire size I needed. Pulled in 25 minutes later. Forty minutes later, was back on the road. Friendly, and courteous.

We “thought” we had a brake problem while passing through Tifton. We were the first ones there on a Saturday morning. They took our car in right away. It turned out that nothing was wrong, and there was no charge! They could have said we needed to replace this or that, but they didn’t.EVERYONE was kind and helpful! Tifton is blessed to have this kind of service!

VERY honest and personable! We had tire problems on 75 on our way back from Florida.One was flat. We were 300 miles from home. Found Tifton General Tire right as they were closing.Needed to replace the tire and two others. We were limited on money so Steven set us up with a set of used tires. He quoted me on the tires and I agreed. I thought the quote was for each tire but they were for all three. He could have taken me for a ride BUT Steven is an honest man...has real character. Someone to trust!

Tire blew on the interstate and found these guys to be the closest camper tire store. As soon as we got there they took off the shredded rubber and replaced it brand new including tire and valve stem. Seriously the best tire place weve ever been to! Wish they were in Ohio! In and out in 10 minutes with no appointment or issues.

Everyone was friendly, honest, and very helpful. They answered all of my questions plus some. The service that I went there for were finished quickly and courteously. I would recommend them to anyone from tires to any mechanic work they provide.

We were traveling from Florida to Canada and noticed low tire pressure at a stop along I-75. We found Tifton Genral Tire online and they had a good review on Yelp. They put on car on a hoist and found the problem and replaced a stem value. It was quick and the cost was unbelievably cheap as I was expecting a minimum charge and would have be happy to pay upwards of $100 to get the tire fixed and back on our way quickly and safely.We met a gentleman who also had a tire issue and while chatting we discovered that we both live on the same place in SW Florida!.Thanks for the GREAT SERVICE!Henry Lee & Josie White, Toronto

Great place to get your tires

I am very disappointed in this companies business practices. My wife had to flat tires on the passenger side of her car where she ran over something on her way home to Florida. After some investigation and numerous phone calls the tires had to be special ordered. We had them ordered by Tifton General Tire. We had the car towed to their establishment and had to wait until Monday for the tires to be delivered and installed. We go Monday to pick up the car and the battery was dead. Why? We dont know, there had been no issue before taking it to Tifton General Tire. They attempted to jump the car. The hooked the cables up incorrectly, the battery in my wifes car began to smoke with her standing less than six feet away. The realised what they had done and quickly disconnected the cables and reattached them. I then started the car. After less than 20 seconds the cables where disconnected and the car died immediately. We jumped it again and removed the cables and it died again immediately. At this point they tried to convince us the alternator was bad and the reason the car wouldnt continue running. We then had to have the car towed to Valdosta Kia 45 miles away. They did an evaluation and tested the car and it was a main fuse had blown and in their paperwork they stated the car had a surge by the cables being hooked up wrong. Well, after paying the Kia dealership a $156 repair bill, towing charges, a hotel night stay being without the car for 5 days, a trip home to Florida and back to Georgia, Tifton General Tire offered to pay only $46. This is a joke and slap in the face. After several logical discussions with them, Stephen from Tifton General Tire stated his wife is in charge of these matters and she came up with the amount they would pay. Stand up, be a man and do the right thing instead of hiding behind your wifes skirt. We could have asked for all the expenses we occured, which would have been considerable more than we are asking. We were just trying to get the money back for the actual damage your company caused, not all the additional cost we incurred. If your traveling through this area, I would stay away from them, because it seems they are only and possibly concerned for their local clientel.
