Yesterday I called to schedule an appointment. I was really taken how they ask you for your social, d.o.b., and member ID# for your insurance up front, and over the phone. It really made me feel uncomfortable, and uneasy, as I have never visited this facility before.

Extremely courteous, professional and through! From registration, to the exam- 5 star treatment. Dr. Harrison was a pleasure. I would definitely recommend them.

Firstly, they charged me more than my copay, without letting me know what the charges were for. When I asked if the payment was after insurance, because my copayment the year prior was much less, they just shook their head and told me nothing else.Towards the end of my exam I brought up, again, the money I paid at the beginning of my visit, and she proceeded to tell me the charge was for “a contact lens fitting.”Firstly, they never asked if I wanted contacts or glasses and just assumed and made me pay something without explanation. Secondly, a “fitting” for contacts being $124, JUST to FIT a pair of contacts, not the price of the contacts with prescription. After they just told me they would put the leftover money, after my copayment for the exam, towards something else, and gave me no other option, not even to return my money. Feeling pressured, I went ahead and paid for another pair of lens for my glasses, money I couldn’t really afford to be without at the moment.They just need more explanation before they charge someone something and better communication with their patients.

At times it seemed like one person didnt know what the other one was going or supposed to be doing! Its been two weeks and still havent gotten my contacts! Very unhappy with this place! One said this... The other said that! Wont be using them again!

They got me in within 2 weeks of calling to make an appointment, check in was a breeze. Laura the nurse and Dr. Harrison were both amazing throughout the appointment. Dr took the time to explain my pictures to me which I really appreciated. Ashley was awesome, listened to my preferences and concerns about my frames, and got me in a good pair of glasses. Cant wait to get them in!

You will get a thorough exam. Dr. Harrison will answer all your questions about your eye needs to make sure you understand about your eye health.

Dr. Harrison and staff are always professional, polite, and extremely pleasant. Whether they are working with me or my children it is always such a joy to be there. Their eye examinations are quick and efficient, and Dr. Harrison always makes you feel welcome with her knowledge and easy manner.

Their customer service was great! I loved all of the staff that I dealt with and would give 5 stars for them but since its an overall review I can only give a 3 star rating.The cost of materials such as frames, lenses and other incidentals was ridiculous. I have vision insurance and even after it was applied I still had a $320. deductible for just my lenses alone, not counting the cost of frames which were all high overpriced name brands.The other issue I had with them was that they do not use anyone locally to fill your prescription so the turn around time for receiving your finished glasses is approximately two and half plus weeks.Due to these factors I took my prescription elsewhere and spent less then $200 for both my frames, lenses and other incidentals plus my glasses will be to me within 5-7 business days.Overall Vision Source in Tifton, Ga is a great place to get your eye exam done but save yourself some time, money and go somewhere else to get your prescription filled.

Alway professional, friendly, kind, and courteous! And during this pandemic, they are working extra hard to keep everyone there safe. Dr. Ted McElroy has taken care of our family for many years. He really is a top-notch professional and we trust our eye health with him. My husband and I even drive back from Florida to Tifton when we need a check up.

My whole family, ( husband, grown and married kids ) uses Dr. Harrison. We love the establishment! They are very professional. They have always helped us with glasses as well as when I needed an extra pair of contacts until mine came in. They arent self absorbed as stated in other reviews. And yes, they may be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Quality isnt cheap!

I could not ask for better care and the employees are well above anything I have ever experienced in a professional setting. I highly recommend this practice for all your vision needs.
