My husband bought my original engagement ring from Kassab’s back in 2008, and we had a wonderful experience. Flash forward 13 years, when we were looking to upgrade my ring, and Kassab’s was first on our list. I knew I wanted an emerald cut solitaire, but I was unsure of the size or what kind of setting I wanted. So I picked up the phone on a Sunday afternoon and gave Kassab’s at Washington Square a call and was connected with Michael Milner. He listened to me describe in detail exactly what I was looking for and told me that he would be able to bring in a couple of diamonds for me to look at within a few days, and that I could also view some different settings while I was there to see if anything appealed to me.As promised, the diamonds arrived bright and early that Wed morning, so I headed over to take a look. Well, to say that Michael nailed it is an understatement. The diamonds were stunning, but I immediately fell in love with one stone in particular and knew that it was the one.Next up was the setting. And oh boy, did I ever put Michael through the ringer. I went back and forth so many times trying to decide on what I wanted, yet all the while he listened carefully and patiently to what I did or did not like about each one I was shown, until we finally got to the perfect setting. A gorgeous Tacori that was a simple band like I wanted, yet had some delicate detailing on the side to make it unique. This one also had a mini halo around the center stone, which I had never seen before, but loved. And even though it was made for a round center stone, Michael told me it could be customized for my emerald cut diamond. And that was it. This was THE ONE. Order was placed that day.Also, I forgot to mention that I turned in my existing engagement ring so that I would be able to trade in the value of my center stone toward the new diamond, and Kassab’s was kind enough to fit my original setting with a CZ at no additional cost so that I could use it as a vacation ring if I wanted. Super classy.So two weeks later, my husband received the call that my ring was ready for pickup. I was beyond excited!! We went down on a Saturday evening after dinner, and all I can say when Michael brought out the ring and I saw it is wow! It was gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. Scratch that, it was even more beautiful than what I had hoped for. It fit perfectly, and I haven’t stopped staring at it since I got it. :)So Kassab’s does it once again! Our entire experience was very easy, Michael educated us on everything we needed to know and kept us informed throughout, and he somehow managed to know exactly what I wanted, even when I couldn’t seem to articulate it myself. So if you are in the market for an engagement ring or some other piece of jewelry for a special loved one in your life, and you are looking for a place that not only has beautiful pieces, but will take excellent care of you and who stands behind their name, then Kassab’s is where you want to go. They definitely have a customer for life in us.

I worked with Cody and Bart, I needed my wedding band and engagement ring refreshed. They did such an excellent job; taking care of me and my jewelry. They where not bothered by questions. I am coming back with some family heirlooms soon!

Kassab Jewelers has a very wide selection of rings, from traditional to very unique. But then again, most jewelry shops do have wide selection. The thing that set Kassab apart from other jewelers, and the reason my wife and I went with Kassab for her wedding and engagement rings, and also my wedding band, was the incredible service offered to us by our sales woman, Sandra. Sandra, went above and beyond with getting us our rings, she never pushed a sale on us, but rather authentically listened to what we wanted, showed us the different options until we fell in love with the rings we eventually bought. She worked with us to customize the rings to our exact wishes, all while helping us stay within budget. Then, when disaster struck, and I lost my new wedding band after only a couple months, she rushed to get an exact replacement ordered. I have never before seen or been with such a good salesperson who genuinely cared about the customer, was not putting any pressure on us to buy from her, and ultimately wanted the best ring for us, whether it was with Kassab or not.Without hesitation I would recommend Kassab Jewelers, and Sandra as the person to speak with.

They swapped the diamond after I picked it. I went back to the Tigard location and raised hell since the one they switched it with did not only have terrible clarity, but was half clear and half yellow. It was a terrible cut. They ended up switching it again to a better Diamond but not the one I picked originally and paid for. I am writing this review 6 years after I bought the ring. That’s how upset I am with their service. I didn’t even want to think about how badly they scammed me. I highly suggest you don’t do business with them.

My ring was made at Kay and ended up losing a sapphire by getting knocked against stuff and since the prongs were stuck out so much. It was my chance to fix both of those things and Kassab gave me a super low quote and stuck to it! Sim did the most amazing and perfect job on my wedding ring and I am so grateful! He also rubbed down those sharp prongs and aligned the stones in the perfect way that I actually wanted from the beginning. I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience!

Sandra was super helpful in choosing the perfect engagement ring and helped customize it and get it delivered in the promised time. She was also always available to accommodate change requests to the ring, spoke to designers and negotiated on the constraints set by well known designer (Tacori) in favor of my requirements and budget. I would highly recommend working with Sandra at Kasaab Jewelers to get the perfect engagement ring! I am going to be returning to her, to buy additional items that I need to get, in future.

I have always known that I would go to Kassab when the time came for me to pop the big question. I have friends who had great experiences with them and the level of craftsmanship in the custom designs. I once met Rana, who is now the President some years back and she was very nice and genuine. Now I can say first hand that all of the superlatives regarding Kassabs service and craftsmanship are well warranted. Michael at the Washington Square location made my experience a breeze. He was able to locate the exact stone I wanted within minutes. He definitely listened to what wanted and provided exceptional service. I let him know of the design I had in mind and their goldsmith did an masterful job in bringing it to life! It absolutely exceeded my expectations. Initial service was really good. We worked with Michael. However we were promised an appraisal. That appraisal never came. My husband reached out to Michael about the lack of response. My husband resent the emailed paper work only to be ignored once again. Preservice was good and post service or followup was and is non existent. I cannot recommend based on my experience which to date is incomplete.

I went to Kassab in Tigard today to have my engagement ring re-sized smaller. Its a custom piece, made from recycled 14k gold. I originally went to Kassab because of many good reviews here on Google. However, the jeweler took one look at it, asked if it was cracked (Ive had it for only 4 days for Petes sake! Part of the design is a hand-sawn silhouette of a mountain around the band. Not a crack.) the jeweler asked if it was recycled, and I said yes, and he said there was no way theyd touch it since recycled gold was unstable and handed it back to me, saying he was afraid it was going to crumble in his hand. Its a thick band, and heavy, no way it would crumble, even if it was pot metal! And recycling gold has been done for centuries. Im fairly certain the jeweler thought a piece purchased from an independent jewelry designer was beneath him, from how he sneered at it and dropped it back in my hand like it wad the very source of COVID itself! We went to another jeweler who confirmed that recycled gold isnt any less stable than virgin gold and was happy to help us.EDIT: after Kasaab replied: there is no jagged crack in my ring. It has a purpose-cut outline of Mt. Rainier on it, which we told your employee, with 10 support points on the inside of the ring, with 3 of them going through to the front. Its literally the design. Its also 7mm wide and 2mm thick - and gold doesnt just crumble. Its fine if you have a policy of not working on recycled gold, but there is no need to be openly dismissive of someones commissioned engagement ring merely because it was recycled and not fresh mined. Your employee was rude and his attitude offensive. All he had to say is, Im sorry, we dont work on recycled gold and leave it at that. Your reply is just as bad.

Both my wife and I were so impressed with the professional manner in which Kassab handled the purchase of my wife’s dream ring. In particular, we were greeted and waited on with such warmth and professionalism from the sales clerk, Sandra. My message to anyone searching from a quality experience is “ASK FOR SANDRA!” My message to the store is she is a ‘rare diamond!’ Keep her at any cost! If I could give 6 stars I would to both the store and Sandra.

I cant imagine a better buying experience. I had been to other jewelers to look at engagement rings and always encountered pushy sales people who made the already daunting process even more stressful. Robert Simpson at the Washington Square location (normally downtown) was super transparent, never pushed me to go for more expensive options than I was comfortable with, laid out the differences between products in a super fair and objective way, and was super supportive all the way through. I appreciated that he spoke in plain terms about stones and didnt get into the jargon. He took all the stress I was feeling away and worked with me very attentively to find the right ring for my budget and make sure I felt valued as a customer.

Mike absolutely nailed it. Kassab was one of the first stores we went too about 3 weeks ago. The staff there was friendly and immediately offered help and assistance. After looking at over 50 stones from 11 locations. Mike got the process going quick and right after getting an idea of the stones we had seen and what he had to compete against he said let me order this stone in, its better on paper and similarly priced. So he did. The diamond he got was a stunner. I literally went Holy S*** after he set it in the white tray, the product we received was incredible. My girl was smiling cheek to cheek.

I am going to start this off with a big shout out to Mr. Michael Milner. You, good sir, were my light in the darkness. My savior, if you will.Armed with conversation pieces held in a memory that is suspect at best and a handful of pics I had saved from my fiancés pinterest account, I scoured the internet searching for THE ring. The engagement ring...the one that best brought together the touches that she found attractive while simultaneously displaying just a weeeeeee bit of myself in the mix. I had searched through the typical major department store catalogues and outside of one or two meh....maybes, nothing really ever reached out and grabbed me. It was while I was working in Idaho that I happened to search for a reputable jeweler in the Portland area. Kassab was right there. POW! I couldnt ignore the high marks and the reviews. I had to give them a look...and I am here to testify, I wasnt 3 minutes into the inventory when I was knocked off my rocker. THE one. There it was, in all its Tacori glory. I didnt need to see it in person....it was...RIGHT THERE! I instantly shot off an email regarding the ring and the following day, Mr. Milner responded with an email that contained information that ranged from what info he needed from me to best be of service to Kassab Jewelers standard of excellence to contact information that included his personal cell phone. I couldnt have asked for more. The correspondence was top notch. Every email and text was answered promptly and I was never left with unanswered questions. To the day I actually came to the location to pick up the ring, 100% of this transaction was done either online or over the phone. Michael offered to broker the large diamond and I accepted. During the transaction, hed found a diamond, let me know he would turn it away if a better one came along and guess what?At no extra cost, he found a better quality....aaaaand larger diamond for me! The ring? Exquisite, fabulous, gorgeous, mouth dropping...all words that do no justice. I was floored. Even better than that, my *now* fiancé was too. Thank you, Michael. Thank you Kassab Jewelers. Ken was so patient, texting answers to all my questions at all hours of the day. He was very patient and understood what we were looking for. Both deserve 5 star reviews for their service and knowledge. My fiance just bought my ring at Kassab Jewelers, Washington Square, and we had a great experience. We looked at rings together at numerous stores around town, but the ring I fell in love with (a Simon G.) was at Kassab. They have an amazing selection of beautiful, unique, and great quality rings. It took us longer than expected to buy the ring, but Ken and Vera were both very helpful and patient throughout the process. Pierre Kassab himself sized my finger for me, since the ring we chose would be difficult to resize. I really felt they were with us each step of the way, not pressuring us but answering our questions and making sure we got a ring we would really be happy with for a lifetime. In the end, they were able to get the ring to my fiance in time for Christmas, which was a great surprise for both of us. Michael, at the Washington Square location, helped us from start to finish. He answered our phone call at 8:50pm one evening, listened intently, and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. He never pressured us to get one thing over the other, but made sure to educate us as best he could. Additionally, he took the time to understand our financial situation and offer suggestions; he helped us with insuring the ring as well. He gave us his personal number and encouraged us to text him, day or night, with any questions. The ring was completed in the exact time-frame he predicted and he exceeded every expectation we had. I wasnt involved in every part of the process, but my fiance continuously mentioned just how helpful he was. We never anticipated getting a ring from just a little shop in the mall, but we are completely satisfied with our experience and would recommend Kassab, and particularly Michael, to anyone.

I have an antique ring as part of my wedding set and lost a small stone from it while travelling. This ring means the world to me. I went to several local reputable jewelry stores to get assessments and estimates on the work needed to be done, so I was getting a fair idea of the full amount of work needed. Kassab was the 4th store that I went to and they definitely had the most comprehensive assessment with the best price. They dont have to send the piece out to do the work, so that helps. They found everything in the ring that needed work, where a couple of other jewelers with lower prices missed some really important things. Some other jewelers found everything that needed work, but their price was 50% higher because it had to be sent out and would take twice as long to get back. I already had a lot of apprehension about leaving my beloved ring at a jewelry store, but after talking with the people at Kassab, I left feeling very good and not feeling like I was pressured into anything.. They really seemed to understand how much this ring means to me.I got the ring back exactly when they said I would and it looks absolutely beautiful! They matched the new stone perfectly and the settings are reinforced very well, keeping the classic look of it. I plan to go to Kassab with all of my future jewelry needs.

I came in here purely because of the reviews on Yelp. After having poor experiences at other jewelry stores in the area I figured it was time to let peer reviews guide me, this was a great choice. I had never heard of Kassab prior to seeing it on yelp and usually that kind of worries me. Here goes my experience....The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that I was helped very quickly by a gentleman name Kevin. He was very attentive and seemed interested in what I was looking for in a ring for my now fiance. Every other place I went they almost acted as if it was a chore to help me. Kevin looked like he actually likes his job, amazing what that can do for customer service.He brought out various stones and bands and was very informed about the little details, which is great because I do not have a great understanding of jewelry. I never felt pressured at all. When I decided on a ring, the financing and purchase were very smooth.After giving the ring to my soon to be wife, she loved it but the size was off (whoops my bad!). I brought it in and was told we could re-size it but that it might have a small imperfection on the band. He offered to have one ordered so the imperfection would be absent. Throughout this process he kept me updated on texts and phone calls, the communication was great!Overall, I never thought I would enjoy ring shopping but this was a great experience, I will certainly be back.

I was looking to propose to my now fiancé, so I started to look at rings in early 2018. After comparing different ring styles, I decided to go with the option my fiancé had preferred. The next big item was choosing the right diamond, and my experience with Kassab was a positive one. Kevin, who was my main contact with Kassab, was extremely helpful during the process and explained all the different cuts, types, and features involved in a diamond. Robert was great to work with! It was our 25th wedding anniversary and my wife shopped for an addition to her wedding set. He listened to her comments and found the perfect diamond wrap (I believe it was the very first one he showed us). He was patient (visited 3 times to ensure making the right decision), he gave full attention, and he did not push making the decision for the wrap. Rana at Kassab Jewelers Washington Square is AMAZING!!! I would recommend her and Kassab to anyone looking for an engagement ring or any other quality piece of jewelry. My boyfriend and I just happened to stop by the Washington Square location one day because he wanted to look at rings and get some information on diamonds. Rana sat down with us and answered our questions without any pressure. She was friendly, knowledgeable and so much fun to talk to! Little did I know, he went back to Kassab a few days later and worked with Rana to design The PERFECT Tacori engagement ring. My understanding was that the process to create an engagement ring takes approximately 4-6 weeks and since we were in the Christmas season I had no expectation of receiving one before the end of the year. We cannot say enough good words about Rob, who was there when we walked into Kassab Jewelers at Washington Square Mall. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience at Kassab’s. I can’t speak for all their employees but Michael Milner exceeded our expectations on all fronts. Not only in finding and helping design a gorgeous engagement ring for my wife to be but in the entire sales process as well. Rana is absolutely amazing. All of the staff at the Washington Square location continues to make us feel special every time we walk in the store. I bought my partners engagement ring here. I worked with Kevin and he was fantastic. He was helpful and knowledgeable and worked with me to find the perfect ring. He went so far as to help me custom redesign a ring to fit exactly what I wanted. We were under a bit of a time crunch but he called the owner over and made sure that they could get the ring back in time. They got it back earlier than anticipated and it exceeded expectations. I went to kassab just to look around. Me being 17 and not having nearly enough money to even think of making a purchase, I was greeted warmly and calmly. When telling them that I was not going to buy the sales rep still showed an interest, asking me what types of jewellery I like and would want to have. After talking for a while about the things I do and dont like, we ended up talking about diamond quality and the 4 cs. They were very honest with me explaining that they did have lower quality diamonds and much higher ones. As a teenager and given that most stores with valuables dont trust us, I was rather amused that they were willing to pull out diamonds and show me quality differences. They are VERY nice people. And i would recommend this store to anyone. Their kindness and willingness to share information and prove knowledge is hands down incredible. I cannot begin to explain how lovely this store is. You must see to believe.

Worse jewelry company ever! The owner is so pushy and as soon as he sees you are not buying what he recommends is the best for you, which is the most expensive one, of course, he is not nice anymore and ignores you. I have gone few times and he has done the same thing. He was nothing but pushy, not willing to work a deal with you, because is not his deal and being a completely jerk to you. Run away from this place, better out there and better deals.

I was referred to Rana at Kassab Jewelers by a few different friends(all from different social groups). I was willed a family heirloom wedding ring that was over 100yrs old, and needed to be restored. I went into Kassabs with the ring, but unfortunately it was Ranas day off. I suggested on coming back the following day, BUT they insisted to give her a call. Sure enough.....Rana offered to meet me(on her day off) within 3 hours of our conversation. After sitting down and going over all the options, we decided on casting the original ring, and keeping all the diamonds together. I planned on proposing to my girlfriend at a restaurant here in Portland(our first date), but after speaking with Rana, they offered to design, cast, and finish the ring before I left for Belize in 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS!!!! I was completely starstruck by the discount she gave me, the amazing customer service, and the insistence that itd be complete before I left. After 3 days she emailed me the CAD designs and I was convinced I would never purchase jewelery anywhere else. Rana Kassab is absolutely amazing! Her and her team helped my fiance build a one of a kind diamond engagement ring for me from the diamonds of his great grandmother. Not only did she invest in our engagement with her time and perspective, she rushed the order to have it done in time for him to propose on our vacation in Belize! A process that normally takes 6-8 weeks, she had it done in 2. After returning from our magical trip, she helped us create a matching band. William, their CAD Designer, took the time to create 3 updated CAD drawings to make sure every detail was perfect. Then Dan, the Master Goldsmith, created the most beautiful wedding set for me. It had tremendous emotional value, but got lost years ago. I called Kassab to see if someone could fabricate a similar ring, and talked to John Chhim. Sent him a crappy hand-drawn picture of what I remembered it looked like, and he called back in 45 minutes - he had such a comprehensive memory of all of their suppliers catalogs, he was able to figure out that the original manufacturer still made the same ring, and find it in the catalog.I was able to replace the ring, and he was able to get it shipped very quickly and sized for a special occasion. Saved me money and time vs. fabrication, and I was incredibly impressed he could locate one ring in the thousands they can order... great experience, I highly recommend John and Kassab.

John was incredibly helpful and patient with us over the process of purchasing an engagement ring. He provided friendly, practical advice without ever coming off as gimmicky or pressuring. We were able to select a band (A. Jaffe) and make some customizations to it and add a great fire cushion as the center stone.
